  1. I'd be worried that that might sound the death Knell for Clach,.
  2. 12 points coming over the bridge next season. A well, I suppose first division football will have it's compensations. That's assuming County don't go straight back to the second.
  3. Fair comment in my opinion
  4. I doubt if any SFL team could afford a full time reserve side.
  5. If you look at the accounts he certainly doesn't carry out the role for nothing !
  6. Motherwell may not be a big club but they are much more likely than ICT to be in the SPL next season.
  7. We must be favourites for the drop.
  8. i agree vigurs is a player who i feel will just get better & better over time, no doubt ending up in him moving on to a bigger team... All the more reason for ICT to put themselves in a position to capitalise on any such move.
  9. I could certainly live with that. Charlie Christie may not have relished the role of manager but the fact is he remains far and away our most successful manager at this level.
  10. Some nice work Mantis.
  11. I fear you may well be right.
  12. :thumb04:
  13. I agree entirely. Whatever the conspiracy may be it's not that !
  14. pressures on with accies winning, just try and injure a couple of the rangers players for us if you can :thumb04: hahaha what exactly do i have to gloat about, ok we are top but we are only half way through the season as you lot are as well :015: :018: ;) I suppose so - If I had to support those turds I wouldnt gloat either. :D i'll mind and give you a wave when we go up then :P You do that. The passing looks increasingly likely.
  15. The manager might not be the whole problem but he's a substantial part of it and repacing him now would at least give us a sporting chance of avoiding the drop which I doubt would be the case if things do not change.
  16. You,re right. I was concentrating on Hamilton. Never mind. I'll leave my post as it is as it will soon be accurate!
  17. I've little doubt that Brewster cares and is doing his very best. The trouble is that his best is far from good enough.
  18. I disagree, much the same squad has shown great battling qualities inn the past. My view is that Brewster has all but completely lost the dressing room in much the same way as he did at Tannadice and that a new man would, at this stage at least, make all the difference.
  19. The one bright aspect to this season is the emergence of Iain Vigurs as a midfielder of genuine quality and even greater potential. Given that Ian Black is on his way with Don Cowie likely to follow without the club's coffers being boosted one little bit it's vital that efforts are made now to secure Vigurs on a four year contract so that either ICT have the benifit of his ever maturing services for that time or, if he does decide to move on in two years time, the club are properly compensated. ICT have been guily for too many years of having key players on contracts that are not long enough allowing the likes of Dods, Brown and others to move on either for nothing or far too cheaply. Lets not make the same mistake again.
  20. Barry Wilson. The man for landmark goals. Very pleased to see him get off to such a good start with his new employers.
  21. Division 1 for a season might have a superficial attraction but the cost, which would be in the region of one and a half million would cripple the club for years to come.
  22. In revenue terms we are probably over ?100,000 down on last season already. Ihave to confess that I am one of the culprits as I have not been to to a home game now for some time and don't intent to again until we have a new manager. As a matter of fact myself and my family will be attending a Scottish Cup game on Saturday but it will be Inverurie Locos v Motherwell rather than the battle of the Jags.
  23. I don't think too many of us are surprised to find ourselves rock bottom. It's been obvious for weeks that that was where we were heading. The only consolation is that it makes it far more difficult for the board to plead collective myopia to our predicament. The big question is whether they will be prompted to act now when we are only 3 points adrift with a realistic hope of turning things around under a competent manager or whether, for whatever reason, they are prepared to sit it out until it is too late. Unfortunately, recent experience suggests to me that it's much more likely to be the latter rather than the former !
  24. Bearing Brewster's resignation and we all lived happily everafter. THE END.
