Never mind we have our proper whipping boys; St Mirren to face next season.
  2. However, if he does get it,do you think Brewster will be on the 'phone tp offer congratulations.
  3. Not Charlie's fault, you can only beat the opposition in front of you but th panel may be influenced by the act that these matches were all against bottom six sides.
  4. To finish the season having conceded less than a goal a game and only one fewer than the Mighty Rangers eflects very well on Mark Brown and the boys at the back. Very well done indeed !
  5. It must be very difficult to plan for pre season with this still up in the air.
  6. The game that epitomises Rory for me was the 0-0 draw at Pittodrie on hogmany when you could see thathe was full of running and enthusiasm but hopelessly naive, even playing alongside Brewster, against much more wily defenders. The boy has potential, the next two seasons will show whether he has the talent.
  7. IT was at a lower level but my favourite season has to be Pele's first season in chargeespecially the cup quarter final at Tannadice. You just knew then that there was going to be a bright and entertaing future after some of the negative ineffective fare on view under Baltacha.
  8. I would be surprised to see this happen.
  9. According to Charlie Christie we are looking for another experienced forward as well during the close season. It would be great if we could unearth another gem like Craig Dargo..
  10. To be overlooked in favour of an Everton youth player must be fairly galling.
  11. I wonder whetherwe will be sending our first team ?
  12. Every revenue stream needs to be tapped.
  13. Is that not against the SPL's rules to discriminate against away fans on ticket pricing ?
  14. Could mark the start of the close season managerial roundabout.
  15. We will do well to match this season's figures. Even a modest increase would be good going indeed.
  16. Next season will be crucial for Rory, at the moment all he has is raw potential.
  17. I think that Parrat will be retained with an eye to the future.
  18. The suggestion is that there will be SPL one and two with each division ghaving ten teams. As I understand it, the proposal is for one automatic promotion and relegation plave with another decided by play off.
  19. No great surprise there.
  20. Good to know that we have a second competent 'keeper to call on.
  21. Mixed feelings.Without doubt good for Scottish football but not such a good result, in the circumstances, for ICT.
  22. I agree about the comments regarding clutching at straws but I'm afraid I still find it difficult to warm to Gretna.
  23. The crowd at last night's match ensured that we finished the season with an average home league attendance in excess of 5,000. Given that we need less than 4,000 to break even financially that's great news. More surprisingly, our home attendance was not the lowest in the league this season. However, given that Livingston are being replaced by the well supported St Mirren we bettr make the most of that particular distinction.
  24. We are fortunate to have such an experienced and competent coach.
  25. The boy cetainly has potential.
