After a terrible spell of injury, I thought that he was one of ou better players on saturday. If he can stay injury free next season it wouldn't be such a disaster if Ian Black left. Although better still to have both in the squad.

Obviously SKY remain disinterested in renewing their coverage of SPL football. It looks very much as though Senanta is the only game in town.

All strikers go through less productive spells. I'm sure Denzil will come back renewed after the break with the confience of a new two year contract in his pocket.

The club should be applauded for trying to generate a decend crowd for a fairly meningless end of season fixture. In fact they should go furtheer and allow children entry for a pound.

I can't see County beating St Johnstone to the title next seasonand don't forget they will be challenging against the financial mght of Gretna also.

Given our renewed links with Sheffield United, a couple of weeks in the north of England with a friendly against the Blades as well as two or three other Yorkshire/Lancashire clubs might be worth considering. It would also be a good deal cheaper and more accessible for the fans than Scandinavia.

If, as looks likely, Livingston go down, I suspect that Derek Adams will be looking for a new club. I know that he snubbed us before by signing on at Almondvale in prefernce to the TCS but he would be a useful addition to th squad being an experienced battling midfielder with a eye for goal.
