  1. Am I right in saying Draper misses the QF after getting booked tonight?
  2. 4-4-2 with Foran up top and Vincent RM? Or 4-2-3-1 with Foran LM and Ross RM?
  3. Blackfriars in the Merchant City would maybe be able to accommodate fans, as they have a basement function bar used for club nights etc. It also has a brilliant beer selection http://www.blackfriarsglasgow.com/

With an Aberdeen fan getting jailed for sectarian abuse... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/aberdeen-fan-jailed-10-months-3150717 ... could Joe be sweating on a bit more than just his ICT football career?
  5. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Meekings-searching-for-home-comforts-13022014.htm Meanwhile, Hughes insists he is still on the look out for a forward to act as cover for Billy Mckay, but if none can be found then he is confident he has options within the squad to cope. "We always knew that Richie could go and play up there, going back into his old position" said Hughes, who has no fresh injury worries with Matthew Cooper now back in training after a lay-off with an ankle problem. "He done that against Stranraer to great effect. "It’s one that we felt if we could get someone in just to give us that bit of competition for places that it’s something we would look at, so we’ll see what happens. "However, we do have options. I remember back to before the League Cup semi-final we picked the team to face Hearts and played the rest of the boys against them. "Nick Ross was causing all kinds of problems playing in a different kind of position and Marley (Watkins) the week before that, we asked him to play centre forward and he was absolutely outstanding. "There are players that we can shift about, so we’re not bad for numbers. As long as we keep everyone injury-free and suspension-free, we can shuffle the pack enough to get through the games." Hughes confirmed that talks are continuing with Ross Draper and James Vincent regarding both players signing new deals. The two midfielders are out of contract at the end of the season, but Hughes is optimistic there will be positive news on this front next week.
  6. I've played in a few games recently for Saturday and Sunday Amateurs in Aberdeen where a team has started with 9/10 players due to players not arriving in time, where they've then got changed at the side of the pitch and came on. Not quite the psychological advantage you talk about, but the refs have never made an issue of not kicking off.

    Foran playing at CB apparently...
  8. Taken from the Stranraer FC Forum today: "All clubs involved were asked pre matches if they would be prepared to move to a Monday for TV, ICT and Stranraer were two clubs who had said yes and hopefully we will find out today/tommorow if they want the game." I'd love for this to be the case: 1. So I'd get to see the game 2. With our players being full time, you'd imagine the recovery time between games (and comparison of travel for the teams) will have a positive factor in our favour. 3. Extra ££ for the club.
  9. Aye easily 50+ in the 'Coo shed'
  10. Tues 18th feb. Hibs game will now need to be shifted again. On the plus side there's a chance we may get a Sky payday if our replay is shown on tv (currently the only replay)
  11. I think Doran needs a break, after playing pretty much every game going this season. Plenty of wingers can come in to replace him for this game.
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2636719 With the weather forecast suggesting this game is in serious doubt, I'm starting to investigate other game(s) to go in the area to if (when) ours gets postponed

Any chance of Foran appearing today? Can someone post the team lines and match updates here please? Haven't got access to my mobile and work network blocks Twitter
  16. Just think about what it will be like next seasonwith the European fixtures taking up midweeks from July - April/May
  17. We somehow lost 2-1! Nope not that game, that was only a season or so ago. We beat Brechin in the game I was at I'm sure. Edit: According to the ICTFC website the game I was at was in 2009, where ICT one 5-0. Seeing the team list has brought back some names from the past... Stratford, Reidford (on trial where I think this was his only game), Djebi-Zadi, Bulvitis et al.
  18. Richie Foran shouting over to me "You know your football" after I pointed out his contribution in the early build up to a goal in a pre-season win at v. Brechin City a couple of years ago. Pretty sure I let out a girlish squeal when he shouted over! Ayr 0-7 away was incredible (as was the better than evens odds on an ICT win that day!). The comeback v. Dundee Utd last season in the 4-4 game and every single time we've beaten the Dons at Pittodrie (for selfish reasons) are personal favourites as well.
  19. Yep. Keeping an eye on the weather daily, as I'd hate for this one to be rescheduled!

  21. With only 9 players yesterday, I had visions of David Raven taking the winning spotkick!!
  22. I wrote a piece for STV a while back on the merits of Foran at CB: http://m.stv.tv/sport/blog/113420-spl-previews-inverness-aim-to-rule-the-highlands-after-another-rebuild/
  23. Considering the Dons players walked off the pitch the other week refusing to shake hands, that Hearts player deserves plaudits for his sportsmanship.

I binned him from my twitter after a pretty racist tweet he made. Seems to be a silly wee laddie that needs to be reminded of how to conduct himself online by the club
