  1. I'll be going for the 5 home games offer once I get paid at the end of the month.
  2. Could the official ICT twitter account give this a wee publicity boost? There are loads of Caley fans that aren't on CTO who are on twitter, that I imagine aren't aware of this opportunity.
  3. Total hipster.
  4. If I was in Aberdeen this weekend my routine would have been The Grill for 11amish drinks, then Brazilian meat lunch at Tropiero across the road, followed by decent beers at the Tippling house on belmont st and then brewdog/6'North
  5. Unfortunately not. It used to be amazing for food, with it served almost like a school canteen. Utter garbage now that it has gone down the route of Belhaven standard menus. I'd suggest The Wig and Blackfriars on Castlegate if you wanted decent pub grub en-route to the stadium.

I anticipate no one will be turning up at Firhill that day... I'm in New York that weekend, so I'm currently trying to work out a way to catch the game on bar TV or hotel Internet.
  7. For the away end yes it'll just be a cash turnstile. It's not often I miss a 'home' match v Aberdeen, but I'll be in Barcelona for the long weekend.
  8. Here's a few names to add to the 'where are they now?' trialist list... Dan Wagaluka (a Ugandan that failed to win a deal a few seasons back) Chris de Wagt and Melvin Holwijn (a Dutch defender and striker in 2009/10 pre-season)
  9. Who was that Portuguese lad that appeared on the bench v. Hearts last season, that had a dozen clubs but had hardly featured for any of them!? Also, that Latvian (?) U21 that played for our U20 team quite a bit last season signed for Elgin City if I recall correctly...
  10. 3-1 No word of team/scorers...

  12. For such a 'cavalier' attacking full back, I would've expected more goals than one from open play and a penalty. Maybe it's because he's grabbed a few goals in pre-seasons over the years that I'm thinking he should have more than 2.

It will be handy now for Sevco to get him off the wage bill especially with them heading towards liquidation. Very handy indeed. ^^^ This ^^^
  14. More importantly... was the stewarding an improvement?
  15. No MFR2 coverage today?
  16. There's still the fans v legends highlights to do as well ;)
  17. 0-1 Meekings with an incredible run and great finish !
  18. Currently really sunny in London, despite the miserable weather forecast.

Read my comment again... There's a key word in there at the end of the sentence.

There's some shaky-cam footage of the game and goals on this lad's YouTube channel http://youtu.be/eqz3n9GI-Lo
  21. Nursing a groin injury from what I've heard

Really strong performance last night. One of the things I noticed was how many of our goals came from drilled crosses into the box, after the winger went beyond the last man. With a left footer (Williams) on the left and a right footer on the right (Doran/Ross), it suited our play better than the swapped wing alternative we've gone with in previous seasons. Still not sure if Vincent is the man to link midfield and strikers, but he offered a strong tackle and simple pass, in addition to a good shot when given the chance. The defence were rock solid, with lots of communication. I'd hate to play against Meekings and Warren, it'd be like going up against a brick wall! Brill didn't have much to do, but was very vocal and looking to get play started quickly. As many have said, this looks like our first 11 for the opening game; minus Polworth for Draper or perhaps Williams for Ross/Greenhalgh. Both players did really well tonight though, so would be unlucky to drop out in my opinion. I also have big concerns about how often Esson has been injured in the last 6months, so Brill better be ready to step into the No1 role if needed!

Boost, should manage the Dons v ICT game on the 6th (assuming it'll be somewhere in Abdn)
