Simulation is classed as serious foul play It's not, hence why simulation is awarded a yellow card (for unsporting behaviour). The compliance officer gave Graham the option of a two match ban for his cheating as it had a direct result on the outcome of the match... Similar story with the Celtic Dutch lad that dived last year. Once the ref's report is in, we'll find out later this week if any disciplinary action is to be taken. The more I think about it, the more I reckon he'll be suspended :-/

Anyone clued up enough to know whether Meekings can be retrospectively punished by the compliance officer? I can handle having only Warren missing, but the thought of Meekings also being out fills me with dread! Major props to Nick Ross for what seems to be him taking responsibility for the yellow card in an effort to clear Draper to make the final, whilst ruling himself out in the process.

Wouldn't work as easy as that I'm afraid, since the Mount Florida Station route comes from Central Station, rather than Queen St station which would be where the Inverness train would arrive.

With having no game next weekend and this rescheduled fixture likely to take place midweek before the next game, Warren will still likely miss out.

I had a Sunday Amateurs game in the morning, so rushed home to watch the ICT game on tv. The missus was out so I had the tv pumped up and fired through the beers much quicker than usual thanks to John Beaton. I watched the entire Extra Time and pens whilst pacing the living room and ended up doing press ups at one point with all the nerves and adrenaline pumping! When Draper scored I collapsed in a fit of laughing and tears. Then the texts from cocky Dons fans started flooding in...

Yeah, I thought the ref actually started going for his card and then stopped when he realised he would have to send Warren off. It was a pretty clumsy challenge and he couldn't have had too may complaints if he'd got a second yellow, but someone yesterday - think it might have been RiG - felt that the first booking was largely given because of an overreaction from the Hamilton player, so maybe justice was done. Can't say I remember the first booking terribly clearly myself. I think the booking was deserved in the first half, as the challenge had Warren lifting his leg up to waist height for no reason. If he had just caught tr man on the legs then I reckon he would have got away with just conceding the foul, no card.

A few things I noted yesterday: 1/ it must have been sunny in Inverness recently, as Danny Williams has got a cracking tan! 2/ Nick Ross was brilliant today, in attack and defence. The amount of times he (and Shinnie) 'bought' fouls around our own box when under pressure really helped us slow the game down and protect our lead. 3/ is that Hamilton LB really rated at over £1million!? 4/ the ref had the Brian Graham dive on his mind, as he was very favourable to us today. Warren could have been cautioned twice and Hamilton (especially Imrie) were denied countless free kicks that they would get on another day. 5/ We need to get Meekings signed up ASAP! Excellent display from him again.
