  1. No-body else going then!? Here's a link to Huntly updates: Not sure how often it'll be updated...
  2. I'm going to be heading through with the girlfriend tonight, and will do my best to update match details online. Is Huntly the one with a bar in the ground? Seem to remember heading through for a pre-season game 3 or so years ago and they did...
  3. We've gone to 4-4-2, with Roy left mid, sanchez right mid, Morrison and Duncan in the middle. Sutherland and Eric up front
  4. Rooney with a decent 20 left foot effort that was a yard over the bar. Roy McBain on for Rooney
  5. If sisi was the tiny player at right mid, then he was very very good! Dangerous everytime he got the ball. Nick Ross off for Shane Sutherland RV had a stone wall pen turned down. Malpas seemed to think it was a dive by his hand signals. We've managed to injure a few of their players with some meaty challenges!
  6. Sanchez on for Gil
  7. Morrison on for Cox, who doesn't appear to be injured.
  8. No changes for us at half time. Gil still on the left. 1st minute of 2nd half: Nick Ross and Gillet worked well to allow a long range effort by Cox which was excellently held by the keeper near the top corner.
  9. Gil and nick Ross have swapped wings. Gil has been terrible on the left, so we'll see if he's any better on the right... Best players of the half has been cox, Eric, nick and proc. RV have had one real chance that was ballooned over, with us having a few wee half chances. Gillet has looked very mobile and eager to get involved; but he has been straying a bit too far up the pitch leaving the area behind him exposed. 0-0 half time
  10. Wise up. No goal.
  11. Gil is on the left by the way
  12. Andy Barrowman and a few of the County players are watching tonights match in the main stand. Fairly quiet opening, where we've had some really good passing moves mainly involving Eric and Nick Ross.
  13. I see the Inverness Courier has said Hayes and Foran won't play tonight or tomorrow; but possibly going to make an appearance on Saturday though.
  14. Our mutual friend Dave Gray would be chuffed with that tie!
  15. Brechin also have a link to Barcelona this season... :_shocked2:
  16. It gives the lower teams a chance of a pay day and the 'big' teams a chance to play a competitive match against a team outside their league. I'd much rather go to a game v. Forfar or East Stirling, than against Motherwell or Killie who we'll have to play a minimum of 3 times this season!
  17. Second round draw for League Cup: FRIDAY, 6TH AUGUST, 2010 QUEEN'S PARK FC SOCIAL CLUB (LESSER HAMPDEN) 10:00am
  18. totally agree, we're going to need them back to full fitness for the celtic game so the sooner they're back in action the better Is it not the case that the scans have only given them the all clear to start full training? Given that they've missed pre-season training, they are surely some way from match fitness and I'd be surprised (but delighted) if they were able to play in the remaining friendlies. I'm guessing this is the case as well, but i'm still holding out hope :nervous:
  19. I'd love to see Foran and Hayes get a sub appearance in tomorrow's match, with a start v. Antwerp. Fingers crossed they are ready...
  20. On Pieandbovril.com someone emailed the SFA and got this reply: "It is likely that the 2nd Round Draw will take place on Friday, but no firm details as of yet."
  21. Nahhh... don't believe you.
  22. Positives: Eric looked dangerous with some good turns and runs on goal, he did well to charge down the keeper's kick effectively. Nick Ross looked confident on the ball and played some nice passes in and around the box, but should've scored near the end when he took a touch too many before shooting. Munro and Tokely won everything in the air today and were strong in the tackle. Cox seemed involved in everything today, breaking up play one minute and helping out the attack the next. McCann looked quite good and confident enough going forward, combing well with Nick Ross. Negatives: 2 injured centre halves, perhaps Gillet will play in the middle on Tuesday? Too many invisible players, with Gil and Duncan the worst offenders. Danny Sanchez also had a poor game not contributing anything of note
  23. Eric has looked really sharp since coming on. Rossco booked for a silly handball.
  24. Rossco and Grant are winning everything in the air and on the ground, McCann has been composed lending well to attacks when running forward, Cox has been breaking up play and driving forward really well, Gil has been invisible bar two excellent crosses at free kicks, Nick Ross has done well.
  25. HT: 1-0 FT: 2-0 1st scorer ICT: Gil 1st scorer Opp: Eagleshan Crowd - 1035
