Useless piece of info: I played a 5s league game against him a few years ago in Aberdeen, as the other team had him help them out to try and beat us to the title. We still won. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he would suit our style of play I feel.

Thoroughly enjoyed last night's well run event. Very much worth the drive through from Aberdeen and lack of sleep today! Will the photos of fans with the Scottish Cup be published online or sent out via email?

Hughes said tonight that he would likely give a couple of regulars the weekend off to be with their families ahead of the cup final weekend. I would anticipate Meekings and maybe Shinnie would be amongst those rested. Also Kink is suffering from tonsillitis, so don't expect him anywhere near the squad this weekend!

Being an ICT fan living in Aberdeen, who has had to watch every man and their sheep get a photo with the League Cup over the last season... I'm begging the club for a photo of me holding it if we win on the 30th!! I couldn't touch it tonight. Even sitting for a photo next to it felt wrong...

Popped in about 3.30 today whilst in town and the shop had at least 10 customers in buying flags, foam fingers and scarfs. Frustratingly, there was also a guy who wanted to buy a strip (large) but they only had xxxl size tops. Lots of interest from tourists and I saw loads of families walking about with merchandise during the day. Winner.
