  1. It says in the daily record today that Brewster is making "One final move for Inverness trio Dods, Proctor and Black". He said: "I will try to speak with Graeme Bennett this week to see exactly whats happening" MORE ATTEMPTS AT UNSETTLING OUR PLAYERS, A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE KICK OFF!! I THINK HE'LL FIND HIMSELF VERY MUCH DISLIKED BY THE OTHER SPL MANAGERS IF HE CONDUCTS HIMSELF IN THE PRESS LIKE THIS CONTINOUSLY
  2. I take it you can pay at the gate?
  3. Aye it the annual abdn fudge awards that they got voted best live band; they also regularly win "The most metal of metal" award. We tend to be up for "best rock" or "best international" act (since we aren't all living in Aberdeen); as well as "most shaggable male of course :015:
  4. I don't know Joe personally, but i have seen his band play many times over the last 6 years i've lived in Aberdeen. Not totally my thing, but i can see they are excellent in what they do! Think he got a skin head not long ago, from what i remember... After going to at least 2 gigs a week here, i probably know almost all the bands in Aberdeen by now :015:
  5. The scary thing is, this is one of our last gigs under the title small enclosed area- before we change our name to STRONG LIKE OX. The sexual inuendo knows no boundaries. If anyone's interested, we are the main support for Therapy? at the Ironworks on sun 6th Aug, and are playing the Foundry as part of the Belladrum Fringe Festival on Thurs 10th April @10pm, free entry. A short history of the band includes playing T in the Park in 2003, GoNorth Festival in Aberdeen, Live Sessions at Radio1 and Radio Scotland, as well as releasing 2 EPs on London based Hackpen Records, receiving brilliant reviews from South By South West Festival in Texas USA, regularly touring England and Scotland, and filling almost every venue in Inversneck over the last few years.
  6. That'd be ace!! Here is Bench's Myspace address, where it has the two last gigs they are doing... http://www.myspace.com/longforgot There's a very good chance one or more of the bench guys will be at Drummonds on Friday.
  7. Yeah many many moons ago we played with bench. Ace guys, still keep in contact with Tim. We are playing at Drummonds on Belmont St, and will prob be on at 10.30ish if anyone is kicking around abdn. Only £2 :003: <img src="http://www.aberdeen-music.com/galleries/files/2/1/aberdeenposter2_262191.jpg">
  8. Pretty positive i'll be there. Playing a gig in Aberdeen the night before, so it'll be early train!
  9. Is Dargo on the bench!!?? In the stadium!!!?
  10. Ok, my two cents. Rankin i was actually impressed with. Everytime the ball was played to an attacker, he was bombing forward to offer support. Can youi actually remember a time he gave the ball away? didn't think so. He'll come good for us this season, maybe in a wide left position though. McBain: Usually i'm not a big fan of his performances, but tonight he impressed me. If only he had blinding pace, he'd be unstoppable. Bayne: Another i'm not a fan of, but i think he could be the man to replace denzil (who was poor again) up front with Dargo. Unlucky with the header off the post, dreadful miss with the one on one, but did well to get into that position. Never stops trying. Ritchie: did very well in my opinion, and maybe deserves that right midfield slot more than barry...
  11. Once they are on sale in the club shop, are you allowed to try on a size to see how it fits, before you make a purchase? All this 'up one size/up two size' talk is a bit of a roulette
  12. Or even Michelle McManus
  13. Any chance of closing this thread? Its all got a bit pointless now
  14. I read that there is a train strike for First Scotrail on Sat 29th, that could affect quite a few people planning on travelling to inverness. Me included!!
  15. http://www.fundadon.co.uk/index.aspx If we adopted this idea, I don;t think ICT supporters will be able to contribute as large an amount as the Aberdeen fans, but it would be a great way of raising money to help with the retention of players. I also think businesses will look to invest money, so that they can have their names associated with those that donate the most. Is there any way businesses can donate money to ICT at the moment, where they recieve a bit of generous advertisement of their generocity?? Apart from Tulloch of course... Any opinions?

Did anyone else think Ritchie Hart looked a little overweight at this game??

  18. Everyone knows that if you are going to operate a business in today’s world you need a domain name. It is advisable to look at the domain name selected as other see it and not just as you think it looks. Failure to do this may result in situations such as the following (legitimate) companies who deal in everyday humdrum products and services but clearly didn’t give their domain names enough consideration: 1. A site called ‘Who Represents‘ where you can find the name of the agent that represents a celebrity. Their domain name… wait for it… is www.whorepresents.com 2. Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views at www.expertsexchange.com 3. Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island at www.penisland.net 4. Need a therapist? Try Therapist Finder at www.therapistfinder.com 5. Then of course, there’s the Italian Power Generator company… www.powergenitalia.com 6. And now, we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South Wales: www.molestationnursery.com 7. If you’re looking for computer software, there’s always www.ipanywhere.com 8. Welcome to the First Cumming Methodist Church. Their website is www.cummingfirst.com 9. Then, of course, there’s these brainless art designers, and their whacky website: www.speedofart.com 10. Want to holiday in Lake Tahoe? Try their brochure website at www.gotahoe.com
  19. Nearly shat myself when i saw the headline "Caley duo look for exit"!. Taken from TeamTalk.com Fox, who made 10 starts last season, had talks about a transfer to Livingston and was keen on the move but John Robertson's interest has cooled because of tight finances. Parratt, a Scotland Under-19 international signed last summer from Birmingham, has not had a first-team start and manager Charlie Christie is keen to prune his squad. He said: "Both Liam and Tom need games and their chances could be limited here so we're willing to farm them out. "I don't like a top-heavy squad and with John Rankin's arrival from Ross County, I want to trim down our numbers a bit

One of the stewards showed me the team lineups including subs, and we used all our subs apart from the Goalie Smith. Therefore Fox, Bayne, Sutherland, Proctor, Fraser, Parrat all weren't there. One thing that did give me some pleasure was that there was plenty of talking in the side
  21. capacity was 580. Pretty much agreed with your views of the game, i've rated the players in the other thread

Well... 2-0 to Caley. BROWN- some great saves in the second half, poor kicking- whats new? CAFF- Solid, looked confident going forward, always looking to get up the wing. GOLLY- Not great, lost the ball frequently. DODDS- Solid in first half, ropey in second half, allowing through balls, not challenging for headers. MUNRO- Solid first half, subbed for Hastings at half time WILSON- Ups and downs, good volley that was miracously saved by Renton MORGAN- Some poor crosses, some great. Didn't look comfortable running at players. BLACKIE- Player of the first half, scored a good 20yard goal. On recieving end of some tasty tackles KEOGH- Did well, looked busy, always had head up WYNESS- Completely absent, didn't look hungry. Not a great game. Managed 2 good shots however. DARGO- Ran ragged. Reminded me of the start last season. Strikers tap in at back post for opener. SUBS HASTINGS- On for Munro. Solid enough, some lapses in concentration though. HART- Looked positive, but dare i say it.... overweight? DUNCAN- Didna do much, some good tackles, some good passes, nothing out of the ordinary. MCBAIN- Poor game, wasn't impressed with him today. Not sure about his future at the club. MCALLISTER- Really looked confident, some good crosses, good turns of pace, looked to take on players. First half we could've been about 4/5 up if it wasn;t for the heroics of the elgin keeper. 2nd half we were under the cosh due to some lapses in conversation, and our entire midfield disappearing up front when it wasn;t necessary trying to glory hunt for a goal; elgin then countering. Hopefully we'll improve in the next 2weeks, and by the looks of things Elgin could be pushing for the 2nd division!!
