  1. David Davis and Roman Golobart from loans.
  2. Whittaker is doing well for Norwich, mulgrew is decent too so it's hard for shinnie, what he is though is arguably the best player to come through from the youth team in the history of ict. IMO he's better than Grant.
  3. Yeah, Wick reckon they'll lose around £5,000 playing the tie! They'll have to stay overnight on the Friday, maybe in Edinburgh, (or maybe not if the Festival's still on!) Nairn have a real tough one away to Linlithgow Rose, but Brora will be pleased with a home game and a very winnable one vs. Vale of Leithen. Lossie v Culter is interesting as it pits the North's top Junior club against a struggling Highland League side. Was looking for Cove but then remembered they've got a bye! (Along with Formartine, Dalbeattie and Whitehill Welfare*) *Mantis's favourite team! Nairn and Brora will walk over their opponents I'll take that bet. Linlithgow will beat Nairn fairly comfortably i would reckon. Linlithgow are a poor side did you watch the SJC final? Yeah i was at the game, up until that game Linlithgow were unbeaten ALL season. They won their league comfortably and were only beaten 1-0 in the cup by the greatest junior club there is. They had an off day, it happens. Junior sides usually make it to the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup, until they reach teams from the 2nd and 1st divisions when things are just a little too much for them. I will be putting my money on Linlithgow for the Nairn game anyway, They as well as Auchinleck should be able to handle most of the HL teams i reckon.

  5. Paisley is defo not apart of Glasgow, as much as i like to wind the locals up by saying it.
  6. ICTPaisley replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Obviously it would be best to play Montrose or Dumbarton at home, I'd quite like Morton away though. Always enjoy going to Cappielow.
  7. Bath, England 1986 Tain, Rosemarkie ICT 3-0 Ross County 1996 Paisley
  8. Pretty poor losing that with a relatively strong side.
  9. Quite happy with this actually, would like to keep tabs on him for another couple years and see how he progresses. Interesting to see how he does but i've got a feeling even the first is too difficult for him.
  10. His favourite syrup is maple syrup. That counts these days.
  11. So the leagues will now be called Scottish premiership. Scottish championship. Scottish league one. Scottish league two. I wonder how long it took them to come up with that? Are they trying to kid us on the leagues have been revamped here? Also the new SPFL logo has been ripped off, it looks Exactly like the Singapore national lion logo except different colours and facing the other way... Looks like Doncaster has paid a graphics artist to come up with a half assed job and copy someone else's, hold on the English leagues are named that too aren't they?
  12. Amazing find! thanks a lot. I have great memories from what was such an upsetting game.
  13. The problem with the Lowland league is that it'll be set up with a bunch of East of Scotland and South of Scotland sides. It has been proven time and time again (more so the south of scotland league) that the East and West Juniors are superior. Auchinleck or Linlithgow should be in the lower league or it's not worth having IMO. The last 4 HL sides that Auchinleck met in the Scottish they have beaten, that to me shows they have one of the best non-league sides in Scotland. The Lowland league should have 2 or 3 South of Scotland teams only, they really are garbage! Fill it with more teams from the Juniors and set up a pyramid system below that but in regions like it is just now.
  14. From the shoulders and neck above Foran looks like he has been stuck on and is wearing a former home strip.
  15. I like it, one of the best away tops yet but i would have have liked white instead of the blue.
  16. Yeah i'd buy one of them they look decent!
  17. I agree that we shouldn't be bigging him up too much. I'm not overly convinced he'll be a great player for us but i am optimistic he can come good in the future very much like Connor Pepper. Last season when we signed Gary Warren i was one of the few that stated he wasn't good enough before he even played for us and now i rate him as our best defender since Darren Dods. So lets just forget everything about where the players come from and just focus on what they do on the park for us. Its a fresh start for some of these players that are trying to get their football back on track. I'm sure some of the players from lesser known clubs will outshine those from well known teams.
  18. Only having 3 established Scottish players does dishearten me a little though. But if the English and Irish boys are good enough then you can't really complain.
  19. Auchinleck talbot v Linlithgow rose today at almondvale in livingston. Also being shown on alba live I believe. Kickoff is 4.05. Going to be a cracker today, Linlithgow from the east region are undefeated all season in all competitions and won their league very convincingly. Auchinleck have won the junior cup more than anyone else and also finished the west region league on top with no defeats. Junior standard is actually not too bad and seeing as these are the two best teams around it should make for a really good game. . There's a few ex caley thistle players in the juniors these days. Hissy is at Bo'ness united and just scored 33 goals in his first season. Paul Ritchie was also manager of lochee united.
  20. It didn't seem to do much harm this season did it? Actually we had no wins in our first 7. Was this to do with the part time opposition? Who knows. Playing a variety of teams should be the priority though, a couple hl games, a couple sfl games against challenging first division sides and a big home game would suit me nicely.
  21. Realistically we will get to the 4th round or Quarter Finals, that's where we normally end up anyway. Every now and again we get a good run but as Mahonio says it depends on who we get on the way.
  22. Apart from it looking Ross County esque i really like it.
  23. That isn't it but its a nice effort. This seasons home top in those colours would look decent too i think.
  24. Knew Shane was away, Rory McAllister springs to mind. I wanted Hogg away a few months ago but seeing as he actually did make his comeback and has done well i'd have given him another year.
  25. who won the caleythistleonline award?
