  1. Almost like people may have a different opinion regarding two totally different situations 30 years apart. Weird eh? 🤔😆

Absolute madness to want to drop to League 1 for 'reboot'. Part time football would be an almost certainty if that happened. That said we can't even beat a PT team with our plucky band of loanees. Fear not though, Gardiner will have a plan. Like the concerts, or the freeport or the battery farm!
  3. I've no clue who you are, but this is a sentiment I've heard echoed from many long time supporters, and a feeling I've had myself over the past few years. Yet I persist, as some other do, often against my better judgement. The one thing that keeps me going is the people I spend time with while I'm at the game, be it family I take or friends I meet there.
  4. Planning permission has been sought and plans are in the docs. Would be awesome if it comes to fruition and as someone who was an IRA pupil and used to play on these pitches back in the 90s, I'd love to see them in use again. https://wam.highland.gov.uk/wam/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=S7D0JUIHGU500
  5. I'm no Gardiner fanboy and I'm not sure how much he's been involved anyway as it seems to me to be more from board level. Regardless the club have to look at ways at generating income away from the matchday as we will never make enough from tickets, pies and hospitality to make ourselves viable long term in the Championship. External revenue generation is something that we desperately need and could help us survive long term if done right. If done wrong (like the concerts) then it's a double whammy of losing money and damaging our reputation in the community. This is why imo they lean so much into the good work that the Community Trust do. As they do way more to promote ICT positively in The Highlands than the actual club does.
  6. I wasn't at the meeting nor can I speak to the rest of it but the ICT girls football academy has absolutely no link to the battery project and is entirely self funded. Not sure why Mr Morrison would say that.
  7. If that's the only issue, it would be laughable if it's refused as there seems to be no issues with any other greenspace being gobbled up by Tulloch or any other developers for building houses.
  8. Great write up for the Women's Academy awards evening on Sunday. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/picture-special-glittering-prizes-as-caley-thistle-women-fc-340019/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  9. If we hadn't scored a late 1st half goal yesterday fans would have started to turn. We were putrid. I remember similar comments made when Hughes first came in about boring 'tippy tappy' possession football. That did come good over time (at least for a while) however the biggest difference between now and then is the calibre of players is vastly different. I don't think we have good enough players to play that way to a consistently effective level. We are quite honestly, turgid and very rarely have any urgency in counterattack or when on the offence. I hope that they do manage to turn it around and make it more effective and produce better results, time will tell.
  10. Doran would be the obvious choice.
  11. He doth protest too much methinks. Can't believe you actually typed that all out 🤣
  12. Too many bloody clickbait proponents on here. 🤣
  13. Very tough game this afternoon and a not altogether unexpected scoreline given the gulf in resources. Fantastic to see over 1000 in attendance though.
  14. No. This simply cannot be true anyway as the club would have surely kept us in the loop. Communication is always on point.
  15. Some people do like Tennents 🤷‍♂️

  17. ICTWFC Academy is looking for coaches. Experience is great but not necessary.
  18. Can't beat that authentic 70s/80s ICT merch! 😂🤦‍♂️
  19. Craig, Dan and the guys do a fantastic job 👍

I don't think Dodds is narcissistic (others at the club clearly are) I think he's just pretty clueless.
  21. You used to get team lines from inside the shop but i just get them on the ICT Facebook page or on Twitter.
  22. I'm being optimistic and going for 6th - mid table mediocrity.
  23. I'd actually love to see TB as the Director of Football (or sport or whatever the hell they call it).
  24. That was some morning at the SWF U14s North Highlands League Cup final! ICT U14s Reds V an undefeated Ross County U14s. 0-0 at full time. 1-1 AET (both goals in the last 4 minutes! 😰). Ended 8-7 on penalties for the girls in Red & Blue. 😁 The girls showed absolute grit and determination to hold their nerve through the penalties after 90 mins of football against girls, some of whom were 3 or 4 years older. Well done to all the ICT girls and the coaches for fostering such an awesome team spirit 💪🔵🔴🔵🏆🥇
