  1. We looked at getting fibre optic installed Rene, but couldn't get a cable long enough.
  2. ?????? A post earlier on said that you can't do better than £15 return but it turns out you can. The crux of the matter is though, people can talk about breaking even etc. all they like, but for the price we pay, do we really see a standard of football that justifies it? I wonder how many people would like to come to more ICT games, but have simply been priced out by their own club. If prices keep going up, there'll probably be many more as time goes on. Regarding the bus: Of course you can do better unless it's free, even County could do better if they had someone with even more money. To put it in perspective the bus costs around £600 and it holds 49 max. At £15 a head we need 40 folk to break even (rarely does) and the very most profit we can make is £135 a bus if it's full (vary rarely does). We end up subsidising the bus quite heavily every year to keep the costs as low as we can for people. If drinking was allowed I'm sure we'd get more on the bus but alas rules are rules. We'd love to offer it cheaper, do loyalty offers or make it cheaper for kids but ultimately they'd all need yet more cash to subsidise. What's the average return bus cost to Killie or Glasgow? £20? £30? £40? I think £15 is pretty good particularly for an adult. If you're aware of any ICT leaning wealthy businessmen with a few spare grand we're not aware of please PM me!
  3. For me and my daughter it works out at about £12.60 a game based on 19 games in the North Stand. Not bad at all.
  4. Off topic but whatever happened to that poster 'The Knowledge' ? Whatever happened to Dougal? Can only guess that given things are going well currently he's rather quiet?
  5. Off topic but whatever happened to that poster 'The Knowledge' ?
  6. 'They' moved? We were told to move! Personally always liked the West Stand idea. The atmosphere improved enormously the 3 games we got there. But then Mike Smith and co banned us for 'persistent standing'. Clown. I dont know if it has been mentioned before but after the SPL and SFL merged it was decided that the minimum seat requirement would be scrapped. Therefore you can have terracing in the Premiership again. There is nothing to stop us ripping out the seats in the West Stand and making the West side a terrace again! I whole heartedly believe that a designated terrace/singing area would help the atmosphere immensly. 'They' being the standing / singing cohort. Regardless of the semantics 'they' moved.
  7. Quite sad that they didn't ok this, it would have been something in the town I'd actually want to go to. WEST was always a favourite for me when I lived in Glasgow.
  8. What's a Record?
  9. Never been quite the same since they moved from section G imo.
  10. Dis deal is sick yo.
  11. We need to use them to our advantage for tourism imo 'Come up to the Highlands and enjoy the stunning mega pylons and the longest stretch of ASCs in the UK.' That can be out USP as they say on the Apprentice.
  12. I'm glad this thread has helped to establish what the SNP has or indeed has not done for the Highlands.
  13. Love Septic away, abuse, assault and robbery are always worth paying over the odds for.
  14. Sadly l'll miss this game.
  15. Is that not likely to place them on the Sex Offenders' Register? Too far bro.
  16. I've never had and any bother in the West End. But unlike Zaluska I'm not a Celtic player. Also I could probably handle two Dundee United players, allegedly like. Allegedly.
  17. I've got a season ticket and I've only made 2 home games. Surely that makes me an extra special fan as I've paid for games I've not even attended. #superfan
  18. Remember that political party which made good on all its promises...
  19. I'm sure Westie of the Caley Club used to be landlord of the Drover.
  20. You'll have to tell me your secret, I now drive from Inverness to Aviemore or Kingussie (and back) everyday. Apart from the times later at night i.e.after 9pm. It's only short stints I get to sit at 60 on the single carriageways mostly been 45/50mph behind lorry/caravan/tourist/Sunday driver. I bought a car with cruise control to help keep myself safe with the big brother ASCs, barely get to use it!
  21. Inverness voted yes.
  22. That's good to hear, well done to everyone at the club working hard to keep it as affordable as possible.
  23. It's estimated to cost around £3 Billion. I'd imagine they're spreading the liability. I wish it would be done quicker tho, I drive at least 70 miles on it each day.
  24. There's a medium between booing and clapping. No harm in mentioning the pish away support for a change, we go on about our pish home support an a weekly basis.
