  1. When are we going to get an announcement from SFA or SPFL regarding the integrity of the match officials, and more specifically the assistant referee? Surely their conduct is worthy of an investigation, as yet again the long suffering fans are being 'cheated' by their conspiracy and lies. There was nothing wrong with the corner In the eyes of the officials for a clear 15 seconds, a total joke. If this was to happen to anyone in the central belt, this would be a huge issue by now.
  2. Exclude Brill and Billy from criticism today, but seems to me there are several players comfortable in the knowledge they are stick on starters every week. I my opinion TB had chance to make a statement today and make 3 changes at the break, freshen up things and have a real go in second half. There was no shortage of candidates to be subbed. Disappointed the changes were left so late.
  3. Just back from Dens also, and Yngwie sums it up nicely. Disappointing performance, but we are in the draw for next round. Sure Celtic would be wishing they could say that!
  4. Vincent is a different player from Andy Shinnie, as every one recognises. However it is no coincidence we are defensively stronger this year, as Vincent has far more defensive awareness than Shinnie had, and as a result are not as open as last year. Aberdeen set their stall out yesterday to stop us playing, and it clearly worked. Given Aberdeen are being widely tipped to be second this year, it is testament to how far we have come, when one of the better teams respects us in this way. I agree that Billy was isolated yesterday, and we never looked threatening, but apart from one piece of quality it had 0-0 written all over it. I wish we could develop another way of playing, so we can change it when our playing style is being negated, but we have to remember we do extremely well given our resources, and maybe this is the restricting factor in being able to change the style we play. However, when put into context we have still got 16/21 points, and been to both Celtic Park and Pittodrie, an excellent return. Onwards and upwards
  5. Brill is man in possession at the mo, and unless he makes mistakes, don't see why it should change. My first look at him yesterday, and was encouraged by his size, confidence, and more importantly, his vocal presence. Was constantly shouting and organising, very impressed. Still feel he has to be fully tested, but signs are promising
  6. Great performance today, good all over the park. To difficult to single out individuals, very encouraging. Fans played their part too
  7. 1 Where were you born? Glasgow 2.Where did you spend your childhood? Balloch, Inverness 3 When did you start following football in Inverness? Season ticket holder at Telford Street 1974/75 4 What is you current location? Aberdeen
  8. Sadly Scottish talent is not good enough. The days of local teams being made up of local players has long gone, but is not merely an ICT or indeed Scottish problem. Look no further than EPL teams, who have very few local lads playing at first team level. Taking it the other extreme, there are few Highland League teams full of ' local' talent. Even our national team has few locals in it!!!! As stated previously fans want to watch good players, and don't give a jot where they come from, albeit we would love our team full of locals. There is no room for sentiment when success is at stake.
  9. We want you to stay We want you to stay-ay Aaron Doran We want you to stay Simple, but hopefully effective
  10. A poor decision from a poor referee. Was Dave the Rave sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity or violent conduct? Vine was never getting the ball, so quite how it could be classed as a goal scoring opportunity, I will never know. And as for violent conduct, more unlikely than first reason. Thomson was playing to the watching cameras(as usual) and he thinks we pay our money to watch him. He blew it in Europe at Dortmund v Malaga, and dealt our European hopes a blow today. Cue numerous expletives!!!!
  11. A big thank you to everyone involved, especially the organisers. Fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyable.
  12. Congratulations to everyone connected to the club, amazing achievement!!!
  13. We have a small squad,,and sadly the lack of numbers is catching up. We have benefitted with few injuries, but the same guys are playing all the games. I know the argument is it is their job, and they dont play that often, however squad rotation is clearly an advantage, or else no other clubs would do it. Lets dust ourselves down, get behind the team and management, and see if together we can get a Top 6 place.
  14. Low attendances isn't just an ICT issue, empty seats galore at Celtic Park, Pittodrie, Easter Road etc etc. the 'new' 12-12-18 set up wont help this either. The Direct Debit idea is surely worth a try, even if it only attracts a few, it's a few who aren't going at present. The SPL, and individual clubs, need to be creative and try to attract people back into our grounds. Any ideas should be looked at and given due consideration, as its bleak times ahead if numbers continue on their current downward spiral.
  15. Brilliant news. Lets hope everyone gets behind Terry and the lads and we collectively take it onto the next level!!!!
