  1. I don't think many of us on here (me included) would give up a Saturday afternoon to volunteer as a First Aider at any level of football. Professional help is one thing, paying for it with crowds of 3500 another. Thankfully these incidents are few and far between at football games, but I expect volunteer numbers and response time will get better as the 'can do betters' go out and show how it should be done.
  2. Sub standard tactics matched by sub standard performance on a sub standard pitch. No positives for me, came for a point against a team who are not any better than us, and in the end got what we deserved. Watkins is not a striker, but Messi would have struggled with our set up tonight. Concerning times.
  3. Brilliant. Another game successfully out the way, well done to everyone involved
  4. Deano has to be straight back in, lost a lot more goals without him, and although Esson hasn't done a lot wrong, we IMO have definitely missed his communication at the back.
  5. Just back from game. Shocking performance, worst I have seen in ages, so many players ineffective. Not often I have seen us being outmuscled, but tonight was in that category, and why when we have a card happy ref, do we give him so many decisions to make by making silly challenges. Would like to have seen changes, but looking at bench would have meant a re jig of what has served us well this far this year. Sending off seemed to effect us as much as it did the ref. neither him or us took a grip of the game, and in the end can have no complaints about the result. On a bright note still unbeaten this year,
  6. Totally agree with above post. Utd will be weaker after tonight, got to sign a striker, we may never get a better chance for European football.
  7. Am slightly concerned at events over the last few days. Shinnie signing a pre contract and Billy trying to better himself I can live with, but what effect will this have on the other out of contract players? Will they commit, when arguably our 2 best players won't be there next season? Added to that Dave the Rave says he hasn't been offered a contract when comments attributed to him would indicate he wants to stay. All in all, it must be causing a great deal of unrest in the changing room, and worries me about how our season may play out. We could do with some positive news coming from the club, and fast.
  8. Graeme has been a fantastic servant, and wish him well in the future, albeit not against us. The cynic in me finds the timing a bit strange, and wonder if it being announced just now, is in hope that some sort of deal will be forced before transfer window closes. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but am puzzled as to why it's been announced now.
  9. Thanks to news breaking posters, saved me Boarding train to Dundee by 5 mins, unfotunately not the fare however. Will go and drink my gate fee now, thanks again!
  10. Disappointed if it's true Graeme is moving to pastures new, but he has been a fantastic servant to the club, and given his form over the past few years, he has more than earned a more lucrative move. I just hope he isn't blind sided by a move to another Scottish club, and goes South to prove himself there, he is undoubtedly good enough. At least he has had the decency to make his intentions clear early, and not keep us hanging on in false hope
  11. Good team performance against the Accies, and thought we bossed it for the majority of the game. Accies became far more dangerous once they were 2 goals down and started throwing bodies forward, prior to that they offered very little. Actually thought we played better against Dundee United, but never got the reward we deserved then. Top of the league in November, hats off to all involved, long may it continue.
  12. We were by far the better team today, and bossed the majority of the game with our 'passing' style. I understand the need for getting something out the game late on, but do we really expect to alter something that served us so well for the previous 85(or so) minutes, and to start lumping it forward? I share the frustration of the backward passing late on, but we played very well today, and had we not given two cheap goals away, we would have been celebrating a deserved victory. In short, if we play like we did today, we will win far more games than we will lose. Disappointed with some booing at ' laboured' build up later on, performance deserved better IMO.
  13. That's mine paid (via the good lady's account)
  14. Heard similar rumour this morning that Shinnie has agreed terms with Sheep, for cash plus a player heading our way(no name mentioned). Will be announced when he returns from holiday. Be gutted if this is the case!
  15. Disappointing result and performance tonight, but IMHO there could be several reasons involved. Fatigue definitely seems to have set in, and things need to be freshened up. Tactically it was poor. Draper, Foran, and Tansey in the middle are all one paced and this showed when we were trying to break, also Vincent out wide just doesn't work. Vincent is a good player but needs to be played in his best position. Dundee Utd put the shackles on Shinnie very well, something we never managed to reciprocate with Robertson, and Raven was exposed to him most of the evening. Foran had a stinker, with poor first touch and distribution all evening. As soon as he was hobbling he should have been hooked, as no person is bigger than the team. Foran is a fantastic ambassador for the club, but some of his rants were OTT last night. the Brill incident, and saw him giving Shinnie a talking to for not throwing the ball to him right? When clearly his touch was crap. The zip seems to have gone out of our passing, and everything is very laboured, with no quick threat on the counter. The second goal is being blamed largely on Meekings and Brill (with some justification), but during the 5 or 6 passes prior to the goal, there was no movement ahead of the defenders and not an out ball in sight. I know you have to clear your lines at time, but punting the ball aimlessly is not what you want to see. On a more positive note I thought Polworth made a difference when he came on, and was passing the ball in the right direction. I have criticised him in the past but he looked decent last night. Christie was also good when he came on, and it was great to see someone so young want the ball all the time, without any fear. look forward to seeing more of him. All in all disappointing, but still plenty to play for.

Unfortunately, it's the way society is going. If you make stupid comments like that you leave yourself wide open to being hounded and prosecuted. Leave the bigotry to the west coast, we don't need it elsewhere!

Every ICT fan who makes it down deserves a pat on the back. You don't know when you will next get the chance to see the mighty ICT in a national semi. I am sure we will make the most of it and have a blast. Can't wait, bring it on!
  18. Sadly this is not the case. As an ICT fan living in Aberdeen, I cannot get to Edinburgh for kick off for 1200. Albeit the road there is slightly better, but that is where the benefit ends I am afraid.
  19. Great news and great piece of business by club! Time to get stability and normality back to the club! This is hopefully the first of many who will commit to ICT.
  20. Good luck Davie! It is a total disgrace once again, and as you say, it's prongs up to ICT from the SPFL. Let's win the damn thing and really give them what they don't want!
  21. I just don't get the enthusiasm for Levein. As a club manager, his record has been so-so, and after the disaster he had managing Scotland, I have zero confidence in him tactically, or in his ability to relate to fans and media.
  22. I would far rather go for someone who is young and learning their trade, like Paul Hartley, than managers like Calderwood or Levein, who come with baggage! A young keen manager would respect our prudent frugal policy, whereas a more experienced manager may try and push the financial boundaries in line with previous jobs they may have held. I trust in our board to get the right man, and an sure they will not let us down.
  23. No disputing that Hibs are are a bigger team, but what potential is there? Will never win the League, and may win the odd cup. Given Rangers will undoubtedly come back to the top league, TB will have 18 months to achieve a cup win for Hibs. Something he is as likely, if not more likely to do with ICT, given the timescales he will have to work in.
  24. If this proves to be without foundation, (only time will Tel,pardon the pun)we should pursue the BBC and Chick Young for all they are worth. Usual central belt sensationalist reporting. Would Chick even know where Inverness is on a map.
  25. The United fans would be better served in finding a Doc at an ENT Clinic to treat GMS's balance issues. GMS clearly has talent, but that's twice this season against us, he has spent the majority of the time floundering on the ground. Good bet for Commonwealth games diving team/ or part in River City. Man up!
