  1. I have to chuckle at the furore the shirt sponsor is creating. We don't have the luxury of large gate income, so I presume Subway like Cabrini were the ones who offered the most lucrative deals available. When I put my ICT top on its to publicise I support ICT not the sponsors whose logo adorns our kit I personally couldn't give a jot, who our sponsors are, and welcome anyone who invests in our club.
  2. Collum would love the fact we have a thread about him. Being the centre of attention is what he and the other refs these days crave. Like everyone else, I never intentionally have paid money to watch said clown in action, though it doesn't feel that way. Always feel he is trying to be the star of the show, and more often than not games involving him end up with lengthy discussions about his dubious talents. the fact UEFA rates him, tells you everything that is wrong with football. Used to be you never noticed a good referee, but funnily enough we can just about name them all now.
  3. Watkins never wanted to stay ( look at comments from him and agent) and Shinnie had outgrown us. Hamilton took in £1m for Andreu plus other cash for players, that's why they have more to invest. The sooner we realise last year was a one off the better. Surviving in Premiership, given our annual turnover, is what we realistically should be looking to achieve ( even if we think we should do better) I want last year all over again, but let's face it, economics would suggest otherwise.
  4. Absolutely rank rotten. Alarm bells should be ringing, losing is a habit as much as winning, given current formula I can't see it changing any time soon. we can cite injuries all day long, but today was pitiful. Huge improvement needed. Football I have seen this year (I.e. Little goal threat) is hardly going to encourage even the most diehard fans to attend regularly. Am a glass half full guy, but can't see it at the moment.
  5. I thought our tactics were spot on, given heat etc, just paid the penalty for having little quality in final third. Given our resources, to be able to compete in Europe is amazing, but would love an out and out striker, as that would definitely help.
  6. Look on the bright side, we might catch it on Local TV in Romania
  7. These 2 games are a huge bonus, but the fruit of many years hard work. I don't think any ICT followers dont want us to take it serious and try to win, however these occasions have to be enjoyed by all, it may never happen again. IMO there is too much credence being given to numbers who will or won't attend. The people who matter, know the significance of it all, and will be there, if circumstances allow. Personally, I can't wait
  8. I think I have made payment via PayPal. If it's not there let me know
  9. Just to echo above, great work guys, and thanks.

  11. Flights booked Aberdeen-Frankfurt- Bucharest, fly out Weds, back Friday evening, all for a competitive £332
  12. Due to a late cancellation, have 1 return train ticket from Aberdeen, and ticket for North Stand spare. If anyone can utilise this, can they let me know by DM. Apologies for putting this on this forum but not sure where else to put it.
  13. The fulfilment of childhood dreams. The satisfaction we have done it despite the power brokers in Scottish football treating us with utter contempt. And lastly amazing pride on what everyone connected with ICT has achieved since 1994. Really is the stuff of dreams, irrespective of result on Saturday, but by god a cup win would be the cherry on top of the cake. Bring it on!!
  14. Yogi got it spot on today with team selection. The score was irrelevant, as we concluded our league business a fortnight ago. Am glad that game is out the road, as we can now concentrate on the main event Bring it on.
  15. I would go with McKay in goals for next 2 games, as have to protect Esson for Cup Final, and have to prepare for every scenario. Perish the thought, but should Esson get sent off early in Cup Final, you wouldn't want to throw a young keeper in to such an important game with zero first team experience. To counter that, any player could get injured in training, so it's a fine balance as to best way forward. Agree with previous post that Game time be given to what have been essentially squad players this year. Will leave it to the management team, as they haven't done too bad this year
  16. Growing up as a kid in Inverness in the 70s, I would never of dreamed of having a team in the Scottish Leagues. Now 40 years on, Inverness has the 3rd best team in the country, and qualified for European competition. We constantly surpass everything I ever thought possible, and making the kid in me believe in miracles, it has been amazing. Passport at ready, can't wait to watch our team abroad, and hopefully win many more friends en route.
  17. I don't think many of us on here (me included) would give up a Saturday afternoon to volunteer as a First Aider at any level of football. Professional help is one thing, paying for it with crowds of 3500 another. Thankfully these incidents are few and far between at football games, but I expect volunteer numbers and response time will get better as the 'can do betters' go out and show how it should be done.
  18. Sub standard tactics matched by sub standard performance on a sub standard pitch. No positives for me, came for a point against a team who are not any better than us, and in the end got what we deserved. Watkins is not a striker, but Messi would have struggled with our set up tonight. Concerning times.
  19. Brilliant. Another game successfully out the way, well done to everyone involved
  20. Deano has to be straight back in, lost a lot more goals without him, and although Esson hasn't done a lot wrong, we IMO have definitely missed his communication at the back.
  21. Just back from game. Shocking performance, worst I have seen in ages, so many players ineffective. Not often I have seen us being outmuscled, but tonight was in that category, and why when we have a card happy ref, do we give him so many decisions to make by making silly challenges. Would like to have seen changes, but looking at bench would have meant a re jig of what has served us well this far this year. Sending off seemed to effect us as much as it did the ref. neither him or us took a grip of the game, and in the end can have no complaints about the result. On a bright note still unbeaten this year,
  22. Totally agree with above post. Utd will be weaker after tonight, got to sign a striker, we may never get a better chance for European football.
  23. Am slightly concerned at events over the last few days. Shinnie signing a pre contract and Billy trying to better himself I can live with, but what effect will this have on the other out of contract players? Will they commit, when arguably our 2 best players won't be there next season? Added to that Dave the Rave says he hasn't been offered a contract when comments attributed to him would indicate he wants to stay. All in all, it must be causing a great deal of unrest in the changing room, and worries me about how our season may play out. We could do with some positive news coming from the club, and fast.
  24. Graeme has been a fantastic servant, and wish him well in the future, albeit not against us. The cynic in me finds the timing a bit strange, and wonder if it being announced just now, is in hope that some sort of deal will be forced before transfer window closes. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but am puzzled as to why it's been announced now.
  25. Thanks to news breaking posters, saved me Boarding train to Dundee by 5 mins, unfotunately not the fare however. Will go and drink my gate fee now, thanks again!
