  1. Excellent post Naelifts. And you are right - the journey continues . . .
  2. FoolPhysio replied to ForzaCaley's topic in Caley Thistle
Same here. Not usually emotional but this was an enormous feat in our short history and one I had only ever dreamed of achieving. Well done ICT and everyone associated with it - we did ourselves proud on Saturday.
  3. Every hour seems to comprise of only 5 minutes, according to the computer clock
  4. Yup. Today seems to be going vvvvveeeeerrrrrryyyyyy sssssslllllloooooowwwwwllllllyyyyyyy for some reason.
  5. Did you know the late Davie Thompson his sons and daughter are ICT fans. Failing that give Russeldinios family members a lift. Happy to oblige, if they PM me we can arrange times.
  6. Thank you legibroon - looking forward to a fantastic day and hope both teams make it a spectacle to savour.
  7. I am driving down from Stonehaven with my daughter, so room for at least two more (three if you want cosy) if anyone is interested. There and back same day.
  8. Planning on driving down from Stonehaven now. Only 2 occupants - myself and my 9 year old daughter. If anyone wants a lift down and back, PM me. Happy to help.
  9. Tickets bought online this morning - quick and easy. Chose not to go for the concessions, just because of position offered. Couldn't choose specific seats but was able to compare D4 and F3 positions using this: http://www.hampdenpark.co.uk/visitor-information/stadium-plan.html Now all I have to do is sort the travel . . .
  10. Stonehaven, and bringing eldest daughter.
  11. So, we have the CURRENT Referee chief saying this is a nonsense. We have a PAST SFA Compliance Officer say it is a cut-and-dried case. Now, which one would you realistically think has the greater influence? Sadly, when discussing the Scottish Farcical Association, we suspect we know the answer . . .
  12. Well said Kingsmills. Not over until it is truly mathematically impossible. Or the final whistle is blown. Whichever comes sooner.
  13. The problem with precedents is that someone has to set them - the outcome of this appeal will certainly do that whichever way it falls. Celtic should now be scrutinised by EVERY other club in the league and as soon as ANY of their players do something that could prompt a complaint, the opposition team must feel obliged to do so. It's only in the pursuit of justice, after all. It reminds me of the old curse: be careful what you wish for, as it may just come true.
  14. Good point, well made! Totally agree.
  15. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Negative posts? Here's one then . . . With Gollum in charge (and remember, I am PRO referee) we were fortunate to finish not just with 11 men on the park but only pick up two yellows. His red must have been left in the washing machine.
  17. That is exceptionally poor, and only goes to reinforce the impression we already held that they had scant regard for the Highland teams beyond the odd condescending remarks. Onwards and upwards lads! We are countering their scorn in the best way possible - with results. We cannot force them to talk about us, but we can make it difficult to ignore us.
  18. Their site is currently down. Must've been a troll wot dun it . . .
  19. I find myself in a quandry with this one, solely regarding the Olympics. Then I think "does football, a professional sport, require to be in the Olympics" to which the answer is . . . no. Quandry now solved. As you were.
  20. Until they started their sad wee boycott, no. Now . . . meh. BUT, it is a cost saver for us to have a team that close geographically for at least some away games so for that reason, and that alone, verging back onto "no". Won't be shedding any tears when they go down though. Well, not tears of sadness . . .
  21. Our draw was quite predictable - obviously we were destined for the Sevco ball, but they failed to follow the script and got beat and SFA didn't have time to re-jig it! Only surprise was they made the mistake of picking our ball out first so we had a home tie . . .
  22. As our man-up-front, it would be daft to say his goals were not important - of course they were. That, after all, was his job and he was expected to deliver on a regular basis. However, what I think the poster may have meant was that they were not essential in that we had others getting in on the act and were / are also able to score, so easing the pressure a little on Billy when he was out of form, which is inevitable for every player. Once he was back onto scoring ways though, these goals were as necessary as every other one that gets banged in. Having said all that, I am also concerned that we do not have a known striker who is the obvious point man for our attack. Watching with interest to see how Yogi juggles the team to compensate for the loss of Billy.
  23. Our next investment must have to be this:
  24. Well, we won't have to worry about them next season. Unless they draw us as their "big team" in the cup!
