ICT Sign Mihadjuks
BBC report that he got clearance this morning and is therefore available for selection.

Shouldn't the medical have picked that up?

Brewster the player
If he'd kept playing and his shoulder was fine, there's no doubt at all in my mind that even with a slow 40-something upfront, we'd be in a much better league position. As it is, he pretty much retired a year ago and cannot have kept himself fully match fit.

Hibs Duo (merged)
Interestingly, yesterday's article on the BBC website refers to these players "completing their transfers" and the word "loan" does not appear anywhere.

First Time at the Ground
Had to smile at Taggart the other night when they are looking at a corpse and notice it has a Partick Thistle tattoo: "At least his suffering is over....."

Callum Elliott
Q. What has David Proctor got in common with Javier Mascherano? A. Not a lot. But both were granted permission to play for a 3rd club in one season. I think it can happen if both FIFA and the league in question approve it.

They'll fit in well then.

Fixed it for you.

Good question. I suppose there's Wyness, who was on loan to us from both Aberdeen and Hearts before signing properly. I thought Darren Mackie played well on the rare occasions when he easn't injured. He actually played a key part in getting us to the SPL when he created a late winner at Raith to set us up for the Clyde showdown.

Are these loans definitely in place, or did the newspaper jump the gun? There's no mention at all on BBC or our official site.

Supporters Trust Meeting
Well done to the Trust board for raising the profile of fans' concerns, and for conducting an orderly and fair meeting.

Hamilton Game (merged)
Having endured the whole of 2008 without seeing us win a match, I might go to see if 2009 can bring an improvement in fortunes.

These are good signings. Although I've always considered Morais to be a diving cheating ****.

People with unrealistic expectations are going to be disappointed!

OF Clearout
I like the Balde comment: "Celtic would let him go for free and probably drive him to the airport, too." I'd actually forgotten he was still happily rotting away there. How many millions have they paid him since he did anything useful on the pitch?
-
GOOD BACKBONE
I don't there'd be a shortage of SPL takers for Rossco and Duncan if they were available. Agree with the others though, although Wood ought to make it at this level.

Bring Back Bayne
This shows how desparate our fans have become! His record in Div 1 this season is pretty poor. Why not consider one of the numerous better strikers in that league instead? We need a goalscorer, and someone who can occasionally do something unpredictable.

Grassa
I guess that's basically the question the Trust will be putting to its members at the meeting. Nothing wrong with that is there?
-
All quiet on the transfer front
Given our goals conceded in the last 5 games (3-2-3-3-3) that striker needs to be one who can score 3 or 4 for us every game.
-
All quiet on the transfer front
I've come around to thinking that Byrne might actually be an improvement on Hastings. This would also make it inevitable that Zadi will be released/paid off in the window.
-
All quiet on the transfer front
According to Bennett here we have "made enquiries*" about 3 other players. http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.a...014098?UserKey= * Making enquiries could of course consist of: "Would you like to join ICT?" "You must be joking"

A fan got some through the club for his kilt a year or two ago.

Half Time Team Talks
Forgot about him. I suppose we've been fortunate to have exceptional leaders like Mann and Dods in recent years.
