  1. Sounds like he led them up the garden path. Perhaps we had a lucky escape.

It's a full page feature in the Sunday times but I can't see it online.

As a footnote to this, Pressley has now said in an interview that: - the interest from Switzerland was FC Vaduz (actually in Liechtenstein). This was his preferred move but it then fell through. - he then chose Falkirk over us simply because of geography. He didn't want to commit to spending 3 nights a week up north. Take note, people who say that our location is not a deterrent to attracting players.
  4. I think Robson got a few decent ones, I recall a superb "up and down" one in a midweek 2-0 Cup win at Arbroath. But I don't think we've ever had one as spectacular as Imrie's. Definitely the best I can think of, by miles.

    No FA Cup

I don't think that's the case. And Setanta haven't actually relocated to Luxembourg as such, they just set up a company there with a few people in an office, and EU legislation allows them to benefit from a lower rate of VAT on their UK subscription income which all then goes to the Luxembourg government rather than the UK coffers.
  6. What, our best players picking up suspensions?
  7. Great game. A player gets sent off when his team are 2-1 down in the 2nd half, but the 10 men somehow raise their game and grab a late equaliser to make it 2-2. But it's not over, and the 11 men get an even later winner. No not today, but 13 months ago...............and the last time I saw ICT win!
  8. Not a good week for Robbo then, his pub Robertsons shut down as it was losing money.
  9. Sounds like our best performance for months. It's just a different variation of disappointment I'll be feeling this particular Saturday night.
  10. Rossco is on track for some kind of record, having picked up his 11th yellow of the season today. There's a fine line between being fully committed and being indisciplined. Which is it?
  11. Never mind streakers, do the supporters in the stand have removeable shoes?
  12. Not an uncommon scenario! But yes, Hearts really could be in the deep stuff, although they would survive under new ownership. I heard recently from someone in football that Clyde, Ayr and Stranraer were also in trouble - the latter going public shortly after.
  13. Does anyone think we should have kept Rory on? Every time a player leaves there is always a proportion of the fans who are up in arms.
  14. I see Derek Adams has ruled himself out.
  15. If any Jaggies are unaware what a championship flag is, don't hesitate to ask.
  16. I have some vague recollection that in the early 80's there was an HL championship flag that said Caledonion. 'Mon the Onions!
  17. Really? Time to update the CV and print off some screen shots confirming my success in football management. For some reason I thought we paid about ?70k, I'm sure that was the figure at some point in the past. Unless they now add on "defeat bonuses"?

At least a manager who has worked in Iran shouldn't have any reservations about relocating to the Sneck!
  19. If I was offered the ICT job, I'd happily relocate. Sadly I haven't been approached, yet.

Can we get pics of Brew and Malky onto the match ball?
  21. Although we don't know for sure who, if anybody, really would be prepared to move north. I think that has been an issue in the past, candidates have been approached and would be happy to be our manager but without making that geographical commitment.
  22. The cable connecting to the PC should be a USB (with a rectangular shaped end). Sometimes these handycams have a base unit that you slot the cam into, and the base unit is fitted with the appropriate USB cable which you then plug into the PC. If you have made a connection to the PC and get that can't find handicam message, then make sure the Handycam is switched on, and on the screen it should be asking what you are connected to, select "PC".
