  1. You seem to know far too much about it
  2. Nicola Sturgeon announced that in Scotland you can exceed the man's recommended weekly alcohol intake (21 units I think) for less than ?3.50. I'm intrigued to know how. Any ideas?
  3. Found the answer. Hard man
  4. Back this October I see. Was talking to Pandora after the show - she said she's not really a virgin
  5. The cheapest option would be Vampires Rock at Eden Court! Saw it the other night for the first time. Corny as hell, but great fun for us old rockers.
  6. Who'd have thought we'd lose ground today? This was a Brewsteresque result in the kind of game we can't afford to lose if we are going to stay up. Do I hear the sound of Butcher's bubble bursting?
  7. Doesn't ICT's history show that success is in direct proportion with the amount the manager drinks?
  8. I liked Frankie Boyle's comment - let Fred have his massive pension, but make him go and collect it in cash every week from the Post Office in a Glasgow housing scheme.
  9. Is it my imagination or are pitches generally a much higher standard than they were say 20 years ago? I seem to recall that it was fairly common for the goalmouths in particular to be a total mudbath.
  10. None o yer ?2.99 pish though KB! What do you reckon he likes? My money's on Barolo.
  11. I actually think we ought to consider charging something like that for every reserve game. There are costs involved in putting the game on, and the spectators are getting "entertained" for 90 mins by professional sportsmen. Why should it be free? A fifth of the cost of a first team game doesn't seem unreasonable. And cheaper than a lower league/Highland league game, but (hopefully) a higher standard of play.
  12. All this talk of hurting bottoms...... Let's kick ass.
  13. Good question! What an opportunity that was. Perhaps Bob only shares his duff tip-offs with us - thats the ways its seemed in recent weeks anyway!
  14. How about updating the headings? New Signing > 0 Reserve Team > 100 First Team Squad > 500 Bit of a nerd > 1000 Unhealthy > 2000 Cybergeek > 3500 Sad no-life > 5000 CaleyD > 8000
  15. After retiring as a player, did it ever cross your mind to get your boots back on and have another go?
  16. Were there any players who could have gone much further if they'd trained harder?
  17. You're just p'd off because you weren't invited! The one that's getting me at the moment is that a bunch of luvvies vote for their favourite films and it somehow becomes the most important thing happening in the world today.
  18. In addition to scoring a goal, most reports have him as Man of the Match on Saturday. For a 42 year old making his first competitive start for about a year (I think), it is quite remarkable. Of course, it's equally remarkable that his ability and intelligence on the pitch somehow got lost when making the few steps between the touchline and the dugout.
  19. :thumb04: Can the Bennett lad can get custody of it?
  20. To be honest I always thought he'd reached that milestone a LONG time ago! But congrats anyway!
  21. I don't know why the BBC add that to match reports. On 90 mins, the few people who have voted surely weren't even at the game. Here are the ratings now - Rooney our second lowest score, with Imrie, Djemba-Djemba and Proc way out in front. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ext/6273205.stm

    Djebi-zadi

I would agree with that analysis.
  23. Because they were Dyer.
  24. I recall that she was a colleague of Yompa (stood next to her) who got roped into going even though she wasn't really into football or ICT. More to the point, why was Marius Niculae stood at the bar behind her?!
