  1. It's Caff. You could add Vigurs to the list and it would still be Caff.
  2. Not A Stig. THE stig. Reminds me of that darts commentator who said of a player "He's not Adonis....he's THE Donis!"
  3. Wyness'll love that Fortunately St Mirren just offered him training facilities (and probably want to know what signing targets ICT might have in mind).
  4. Given that for most of January Brew was evidently one defeat away from the sack, I kind of thought that the board would have already given a lot of thought to this subject and would know exactly who they wanted.
  5. What's the matter RIG, is the moderator's salary not enough for you? When I recruit people, a couple of things get their application filed straight in the shredder : 1) CV with errors, typos etc. No excuse for it 2) An unprofessional email address like "FTP1872@hotmail.com" You wouldn't believe what some people come up with.
  6. There was a quote from Doc in an interview somewhere saying that they have been training in exactly the same way as usual. Great.
  7. Any article that says Graeme Roberts is in the frame has little credibility! It's hard to imagine Butcher giving up his TV work and presumably taking a pay cut to join us, but you never know.
  8. I'd love to see that post quoted in the Courier. I'd like to think that the Board are on the case of a new manager rather than killing cats.
  9. We are already doing that ........ Yeah but even our hoofing isn't as good as it used to be!
  10. If we're bringing back old strikers how about Niculae, Stevie?
  11. The whole idea of bookies offering odds is an intersting one, particularly for the person who draws up the shortlist, conducts interviews and then makes an offer. Let's send Grassa down to Willie Hills with the whole transfer budget, and use the winnings to buy the manager a new striker.
  12. We have enough foreigners in the team without putting one in the dugout Butcher's not a bad choice actually, as SPL experience is probably something we need to get us out of this.
  13. "Sources in Scotland last night indicated that the possible signing by Caley of the 33-year-old Gordie, was unlikely to proceed." Gordie? From Sneck?
  14. It's not like Blackie to be mouthing off
  15. How? For starters he got us our highest SPL finishes IIRC, but what I had in mind was that I think we played our best and most attractive (SPL) football under his reign.
  16. To interview candidates?! Nothing exciting from me, was just at work and looked onto this site.
  17. It was one of those JFK moments. Where were you when you heard the news that Brewster had been sacked?
  18. He could, though, breach his side of the contract and has his registration is still held by ICT he would never actually become a Hearts player. It would however leave him exposed to paying an awful lot of compensation for the breach of contract. will never happen.
  19. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/chickyoung/2009...ball_was_a.html I can't really work out what his point is. The man's just rambling.
  20. According to Radio Scotland he has signed until the end of the season. Were we interested? Should we have been?
  21. In some respects he was our best ever manager. And he knows, the club, is immediately available, cheap etc. He would perhaps worry too much about being the manager who got us relegated.
  22. Good post Starchief, I fully agree.
