Humour me for a moment! Imagine a new country was discovered that was completely cut-off from the outside world, no TV etc. Imagine you gave them the rules of football but told them nothing else about the game, and then went back 20 years later to see how they were getting on with it. Do you think most of their teams would have devised and worked out for themselves that our world's standard formations (mainly 4-4-2) are the best way to play and win the game? Or do we just play it that way because of convention and pre-conceived ideas?

This game is NOT available on Freeview. It's all to do with bandwith, capacity and stuff like that. I ttink it's because on Sunday afternoons they can use unutilised space, but on weekday evenings they can't because all channels are broadcasting then.

The big name players he got rid of were overpaid duds. I'm sure Brew can't help wondering how different it might be if he'd got Dods in, to sort out the defence, and give some leadership on the park. Utd's defence has been shocking recently (and incidentally Proctor has been as guilty as anyone). As for the lack of leadership........ Robson as captain :017:

Pele was great...... HOWEVER.......did he not have at his disposal Robson, Wyness, Christie, Ritchie, Mann, Tokely, Hart, Duncan, McBain, Hastings, Munro, Keogh, Xausa, Golabek and others...and fail to get them anywhere near the top of the First Division?

Duncan actually came on for Tokely at Tynecastle a few weeks ago and played at right back. He was awful.
