  1. I think we need to dominate the game early and not let County get a foot in the game as we know after yesterday their bus will be well and truly parked. Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Doran Tansey Christie Williams Mckay Watkins
  2. CaleyCalum and Old Caley Girl HT: 0-0 FT 2-1 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Dons: Pawlett 1st Goal: 23 mins 1st Yellow: Tremarco
  3. How do you think we should approach this one with the likes of Rooney, Hayes, McGinn etc all playing well. We obviously won't have Draper through suspension. My Team: 4-4-2 Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Doran Tansey Christie Williams Watkins Mckay Subs: Esson, Tremarco, Devine, Ross, Vincent, Polworth, Sekajja
  4. I don't but we have already been through that discussion
  5. HT: 0-1 FT: 2-2 1st ICT: Tansey 1st Sheep: Goodwillie First Goal: 25 mins 1st Yellow Card: Flood
  6. Gary Rowett confirms interest in Graeme: http://www.bcfc.com/news/article/graeme-shiinie-birmingham-city-2161173.aspx
  7. I wouldn't put it past Graeme and doing exactly what Andy did and sign a pre contract with Birmingham IMO. I see in the sun newspaper today also, that Celtic are interested too.
  8. That would make sense as I think it was John Collins that helped get Ryan into the Scotland U21 side. I do think a move to Celtic would actually benefit Ryan should it ever happen. The experience of playing in Europe and also playing in a pressured environment might just spur him onto the the next level that he's capable of. I personally think that Ronny Deila is a decent enough coach and would help Ryan's development should he get picked for the starting eleven if they are indeed going for Stuart Armstrong as well. I do think however should Ryan get a big move this January should it be Celtic or an English premier team that we should strike a deal where Ryan can be loaned back to us for the rest of the season.
  9. Apparently the boy Brophy that scored a hat-trick today has scored 3 hat tricks in their last four games (including today) that is some feat. Hamilton have always been miles ahead with their youth development.
  10. Apologises, was busy the second half and missed the Twitter updates. FT: 7-1 to Hamilton
  11. 2-0 Hamilton, Docherty
  12. Hamilton take the lead through Brophy in the 18th minute.
  13. Team vs Hamilton: Mackay, Stark, Howarth, Baptie, Brown, Sutherland, Ferguson, Blackett, Sekajja, Wilson, Hull
  14. I'm not so sure about that one. After watching the highlights, I don't think Draper had any vicious intentions whilst making the jump. Of course, he could have handle it a bit better but I personally think was trying to get out of the challenge and ended up catching Lappin in the aftermath - a yellow card at best
  15. Was at the game and I actually thought the best team of the game lost. St Johnstone were no great shakes and got the rub of the green. Got to win next weekend against Aberdeen though.
  16. CaleyCalum HT: 0-1 FT: 1-2 1st ICT: Mckay 1st St J: O'Halloran First Goal: 23 mins
  17. HT:1-1 FT: 2-3 1st ICT: Tansey 1st St J: Croft First Goal: 34 mins
  18. I don't think there is much of need as much as there used to be. Watkins has put decent shifts up front, Christie could play up there and obviously Mckay. That's three decent cover and also you have Calum Ferguson in the U20s who could be considered a fourth back up. It's disappointing that Sekajja is not getting the game time to show what he can do but that's been the case many times before (Agdestein, Winall, Oswell etc.)
  19. I don't buy that and that's not me being a happy-clapper saying the boys are perfect in every way etc etc. I think we have a decent, well ground bunch of lads. I don't buy into them being sidetracked by interest from other clubs. This annual slump that we've had in the past seasons have been because of various other reasons such as transitional period, Heavy pitches and large amount of games. Of course, interest from other clubs can't be ignored but the lads are professional enough to keep a 'one game at a time' mind set.
  20. In all honesty, I don't think we will have a busy January transfer window. As I understand it, Sekajja will be leaving the club when his deal is up (according to the courier) I can't see Lewis Horner leaving the club until at least his deal is up in the summer - unless he scored a loan deal elsewhere till summer. I really can't envision Graeme Shinnie leaving until his deal expires too. It would take a big transfer fee to make him or Watkins, Meekings, Mckay and Tansey etc to move in January. I think we may recruit a couple loans for back up but I am not bothered about bringing in anyone if it meant that we can get new deals signed for Watkins and co.
  21. We still have been passing back to Brill a fair few times even when playing well. I don't think its as big as an issue as it was last season IMO.
  22. Just come across an interesting stat: "Inverness have the most settled team in this season's Premiership - made just 9 changes to their starting line-up across 16 league games."
  23. I think it's a bit obvious that the team is crying out for change. Doran and Christie's introduction at Dens last weekend should have been enough to warrant them a place in the starting line up. Regarding the tactics (shape of the team) I do think it's still working, if Marley scored the chance that went by the post in the first half then we would have seen a different game and would have dominated the game in my opinion. For the tactic to be affective, it's vital we score the first goal. Granted last weekend we didn't score the first goal but the difference was in the second half of last weekend we ramped up the intensity that was lacking last Saturday. I watched the Manchester United game yesterday and I found it quite inspiring with the style they pass the ball (one touch pass and move) that's a style that we should implement in my opinion - up the tempo and try and dominate the game early. I would like to see the likes of Daniel Devine, Carl Tremarco, Liam Polworth and Ibra Sekajja to a degree who don't get a fair crack of the whip but if we tamper with the team too much then the hard work that's already been done will become undone.
  24. Not sure we should play St Johnstone with 10 players!
