ICT say "NO" to leagues of 10.
I have been a season ticket holder at ICT (and with other clubs in a past life) for a great many years. But, if a ten team league is adopted I will no longer attend ANY SPL matches. I know there are many like me.

Where did you think we would be?
I've always thought top four this season. We're simply a better side, better organised, with a better spirit and better players than the vast majority of the SPL. Let's hope the Jambos wee run fizzles out soon so we can glide past them.

Who is your favourite current ICTFC player
Woowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoow oowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowoowo owoowoowoowoowoo..................................... Russell Duncan!

Crowds.
I also believe that the behaviour of the Rangers supporters and their constant sectarian chants make for an unpleasant experience for many which can be enough to make them want bto keep their families well away from the game.

Integrity
Referees will always make mistakes. It's part of the game - and to be honest getting riled by it is part of the fun. There is no bias, there are no conspiracies. For the vast majority of fans - when your team wins the referee escapes notice. When you lose the referee was shocking. What is totally unacceptable are incidents like Beattie throwing himself to the ground to cheat his side into a penalty, or Neil Lennon acting out a ficticious head-butt to get a fellow professional red-carded. Outrageous and unwelcome.

SPL reconstruction
I think it would complete the demise of Scottish Football. Let's get back to the League most fans want. A top division of 16-18 teams playing each other twice with 2 up and two down to a second division of the remaining sides.

Matchday Thread : Celtic -V- ICT
Year two starts here! C'mon the Caley!

Matchday Thread : ICT -V- Hibernian
Mark saved a penalty against Celtic in our first SPL season at Pittodrie. Didn't get the accolade he deserved as they scored from the rebound.

Superb performance from the whole team, and fantastic to see Mark Brown applauding the North Stand in response to the reception he got when he came out for the second half.

New Signings in January
Definitely don't want to see Proctor go. He's a good player in a variety of positions and a valuable member of the squad. Personally I don't think we need anyone in January and I'll be quite happy if we can just hold on to the squad we have.

Away Support / Atmosphere
I'd just like to add that this is the same for every team in the SPL. Their support, without exception, is noisier and better organised away from home. All seater grounds mean that the home support can't always sit where they choose. Away support can more readily congregate. Add to that the fact that, if you've made an effort to travel a long way for a match you're probably going to make sure you enjoy yourself! That said - I believe that OUR away support is the BEST (not biggest) away support in the SPL.

Danni Sanchez
Sanchez is a talented player and I'm glad he's in our squad. You find that when a team is performing well things don't get changed around so quickly and so Dani will need to wait for his chance to impress. I believe he's quite happy with the situation - and with injuries and suspensions it's only a matter of time before he gets his opportunity to shine.

Faking it
It's a fact of life. The referee's always bad when you lose. Their treatment in Scotland has really got out of hand lately - although Lennon's outburst (which I think should have earned a ban) ended up with the opposition captain being sent off and three penalties awarded to Celtic in his next game.

Matchday Thread: ICT -V- Motherwell
I'd agree that we missed Russell. Don't know what was up with him as he wasn't even on the bench. We never seem to do so well without him in the team. That said - a decent game of football. We had our chances, as did Motherwell, and they probably deserved to shade it. Good to hear their supporters singing "there's only one Terry Butcher" We're still up there, still in the mix, and sill chasing third spot.

Matchday Thread: Rangers -V- I.C.T.
Interesting stat................................... Our away form is often discussed, but tonights SPL table shows that every one of the top five Teams has won more matches playing away than they have at home.

That's why we're champions.

Russell Duncan
A very under-rated player - but I would say Russell is a vital part of our team. Passion, skill, intelligence, vision. I agree it's no mistake we came back onto a good game with his arrival. Butcher's keen to play Duff - but I think we can see that Duff serves us best in defence with Duncan keping the holding role in midfield.

Top six- target
If we don't finish fourth this season it'll only be because we are third.

If ICT were an English club
Chelsea - only better.

Matchday Thread: ICT v Hearts
I thought it was a good game today, some of our passing moves were fantastic and we stretched Hearts well with Hayes on the right and Ross on the left. We had our chances and maybe just didn't get the breaks at the right time. To be honest I think we'll play worse than that this season and get three points.

In our defence ?
I thought our defence worked hard and played well on Saturday. With the way Celtic approached the second half they did well to keep the defecit to one goal. Makes me full of confidence for this season - I predict a 4th or 5th place finish.

2nd round? ICT-Peterhead
Come on Denzil! Give us a doing!

That's fine .............. no need to thank me, I knew you'd see sense.

Don't worry .................... you ARE wrong. (Barrowman moved to the SPL from a Second Division side - other recent top scorers in Division 2 have included Prunty and Mcallister - and he is also a prize bell end. Rooney is class and has gained a lot of strength over the past year. To try to compare the two players is plain daft.) Rooney will set the SPL alight this season - and will make the Republic Team before too long.
