  1. totally agree with just about everything you say. it's absolutely none of my business what your faith is and it has bu**er all to do with football. however, tom english wrote a very interesting article in scotland on sunday suggesting that, certain of the cellik-minded fraternity, had used the pope as "a pawn" in the pursuit of their paranoid agenda. i'm just glad we don't see too much of this crap up here. now i might take a few pelters for this, but, i'm pretty surprised that the church felt they had to intervene. i think a dignified silence would have been more appropriate. after all, it is only football!!!
  2. wee team????? cheeky git.
  3. huge congratulations to the whole team. absolutely brilliant effort.
  4. How many times does it need to be said - the referees are not striking! They are universally not making themselves available for their part time weekend job. It's happened on an individual basis before as not every referee can do a game at the weekend but this is different in that they are ALL making themselves unavailable. Will other Scottish clubs sue Celtic over loss of earnings due to postponements? yeah! lets sue the ass off them and they might shut the hell up and crawl back under their rocks.
  5. it wasn't me. i've nothing but respect for what you do.
  6. good answer!!!!
  7. While you are absolutely right about our service men and women and what must be unbelievable pressure, football shouldn't be compared to a war zone. It's a sport for goodness sake and there must be something far wrong with society when referees and their families can be terrorised in their own homes. For what? Having the audacity to make a mistake that some paranoid a*****le sees as part of a hidden agenda. The clowns at parkhead should hang their heads in shame. All they are doing is helping the morons feel justified in their paranoia. I wish they would all grow up. Shankly was wrong.... football is not more important than live and death. Oz , i take my hat off to you sir . Perhaps you could round up some of these morons and teach them what really is important in life and it sure as **** ain't football.
  8. armstrong and miller show when it isnt being shuffled about in the schedules.... grrr
  9. " no, no, please don't offer me the job! my reputation couldn't take the pummelling"
  10. That's a very good point. Why didn't anyone else think of that?
  11. oh yeah! i grew up an aberdeen supporter.
  12. i'm fairly new to this forum, so a lot of subjects that have been "done to death" are new to me. if the subject really is so tiresome to you, don't feel that you have to contribute. it's not like you're adding anything interesting to the thread. i thought as a long standing member you'd be delighted that more and more supporters are being converted to the cause. no offence
  13. are you tony soprano in disguise?
  14. what? you mean soap?
  15. I reckon 300-500 football fans leave Inverness every weekend to watch mainly the old firm and aberdeen but there are more teams as well Unfortunately in my opinion these fans seem to be very anti-ICT for one reason or the other so there is little chance of tempting them to attend the Caledonian stadium unless their team is playing What really annoys me is the amount of Ross County fans that seem to be in our city, i haven't got a link but i'm sure there is an official Inverness Supporters club website Have Ross County always had a sizeable support from Inverness or is this just a new phenomena? Dougal dare i say it? i know of a few anti merger fans who changed allegiance to county. traitors to there home town.
  16. ICT had a concession in zoo in the eastgate centre a few years back. i think there was one in debenhams as well, but after relegation they disappeared. don't know why they haven't re-opened though. have to say though, that it is good to see more and more caley jags shirts about the town. who knows? with a small outlet in the city centre, we might convert a few more locals to the cause.

  22. you're more likely to get abuse from old firm tw*ts in inverness. the type that kiss the badge when they are in the pub watching their beloved ugly sister and have never set foot in glasgow. glory hunting a****oles!
  23. Yes, most of them tend to read the Financial Times, or the Telegraph. all the news you need is in the p&j mun.
  24. just to clarify. am i right in thinking the 2 games are on different nights?
