  1. I cant believe this! As soon as I get the stream working perfectly on the big telly I had to goto the door to collect my dinner, I missed the goal lol
  2. Thsi is a shocking service for 7.99 a month. It's only watchable on the lowest quality setting.
  3. I've got superfast fibre optic cable in this flat and its still a crap stream..!
  4. Oh well I just signed up to Setanta-i for 7.99
  5. We getting a live Setanta link for this game?
  6. Chelsea will park the bus again, just a matter of time before a goal is scored for the away side, Chelsea needing 2 will be near impossible given the pressure Messi will put them under.
  7. With the way the pounds going to start heading again soon and the likely tax burden well paid footballers are to be landed with over the next 5-10 years youll probably see most of them bugger off to other European Leagues anyway, wage cap or not. Theres no reason to believe the EPL will always be the strongest league in the world, its only picked up that title on the back of debts upwards of tens/hundreds of millions of ever more worthless pounds, in the 90's it was Italy spending the big money, then Spain and now England, who's to say it wont be Germany, China or Mexico anytime soon.? A bit off topic with regards to tribalism but there could very well be changes in the way the business side of the game is organised in this country, there may have to be at some stage!
  8. :thumb04: :018: He craps it whenever even the slightest challenge is put in on him, even Duncan bosses him. His annoying flappy style of play is 100% down to Neil Lennon from what I've seen from Celtic this year, which admittedly has only been games against us and the Champions League matches. Agree with above posts, the 'hardman' character is no longer required, teams will always need a bit of dig in the midfield and teams will always need players who arent afraid to put in a challenge. All of our defenders get the balance about right in a slightly more athletic Bobby Mann mold. I think we have to go back a few seasons to when we had Hislop and Keogh in the team to find players who would try and intimidate, both fancied themselves as 'hardman' types, and both were let go in the SPL for being ineffective, it doesnt work.
  9. The reason we cant afford to reduce prices is because the board backed Brewster with funds a fortnight before firing him. If we are in the SPL next year we need to look at ways of boosting season ticket sales, be it through different payment plans, pay-as-you-go offers or even just reducing the prices outright. Any offers we come up with need to be marketed effectively, that doesnt mean simply telling people they are available, but telling people why they should be buying them. I have no faith whatsoever that the club could administer any change to the way they currently sell season tickets.
  10. I was pre-empting the bickering, I did say at least pretend to be on topic
  11. At least pretend to be on-topic ffs, I havent had to delete/edit anything for months so please dont start bickering as I cant remember how to do it. And I've no idea what youre talking about TheKnowledge with regards to IHE, your brother and the Police but if he reports that post then I'll learn how to delete again.
  12. Last August I predicted Killie would go down and looking at the league table I see no reason why they wont. Ourselves, Flakirk and St Mirren are all better than them. Just a case of taking chances, need to get our shooting boots on.
  13. "and everybody is desperate to be in that first starting eleven" That was the line that caught my attention. Great stuff Boss.
  14. As much as I agree with IHE here, I'm also of the mind that one game of battering one half of the Old Firm all over park may well lift the spirits further, even if we take nothing from the game. It will take the week leading upt our next match for us to calm down and get on with the task of staying up.
  15. The current gap between ourselves and Falkirk isnt that big, we all have tough games left to play this years including 2 against Falkirk themselves. I honestly think its possible for both ICT and Falkirk to overhaul the teams above us. Nevermind what they are doing, lets get down to the business of winning every single game for ourselves.
  16. It's decent, a mate of mine works there, pretty much all the bars will have Setanta. Theres a few Celtic bars around the place if you're keen to go behind enemy lines !
  17. Just ask us your questions Bellender
  18. Malpas isnt the manager, Terry Butcher is.
  19. I have ALWAYS been been impressed with Terry Butchers handling of the media and very rarely disagree with anything he has to say. I have to admit that I am over the moon he is in charge of our team, I honestly believe we now have the best manager in the league now, in terms of how he conducts himself and indeed his profile within the game. Very happy with the appointment, the man is a class act, I just hope he resists falling into the boring as hell Inverness footballing comunity, where your reputation in a couple of bars is more important than your reputation within the game nationally. Onwards and upwards. Make your mark Butcher- if you see something that needs changed then change it, if you hear a player being cheeky then deal with it, dont listen to those around you.. you have vastly more experience than anybody within the club. If you feel youre getting pressure from those above you then expose it.
  20. Cant we apply for a goverment bailout?
  21. ITS THEIR OWN FAULT. The rules in the English League Cup state that in the semi final away goals count after estra time in the second leg, so if they had ended the 120 minutes 3-0 they wouldve gone through, it wouldve only gone to penalties at 4-1. I guess nobody told the players as they kept pushing more and more men forward, they tired themselves out trying to score a 4th. So much for the tactical genius of Owen Coyle, could not believe what I was watchign last night, the fans should be very pissed off about it.
  22. No question CaleyD's striped design is the best on this thread.
  23. Yngwie is right. All scored in the last round of Scottish Cup games, Caff was the only one who scored an own goal
