  1. dont think i have the nerve to call anybody showing support for a conference team a gloryhunter
  2. more of an eastbourne borough fan myself
  3. im torn on how to feel about this, i can see what dbs is saying and what most are condeming as racism, depends on how youre interperating the comment made if it was meant to be offensive then its racist, if it was a joke at latapys expense then its racist. i have to say there is room for race jokes (rather than racist) in the right context, i work with one black and one thai person, im totally comfortable taking the pish out of them racially and know my limits. dont think id ever joke that i didnt see the black guy because he wasnt smiling but i have taken the pish out of american ganster/hip hop/gun culture alot (pish taking because hes one of the most snobby class conscious barstewards ive ever met in my life) and far right/racist politics dozens of times.
  4. what did i say about hastings?
  5. i think glasgow needs a third team more than the highlands needs a second, so i voted county
  6. boyd never outpaced him, if he was faster than dods then he wouldve been clear watch the video on youtube
  7. i can be positive about this you know lg! the trust is demonstrating that it can organise events for all the demographic/economic groups who follow ict and havent fallen into the trap many supporters trusts have (save our staggies most notably but falkirk are guilty) of milking the same sponsors/local businessman crowd over and over. events like these also raise awareness of what the trust is ultimatley trying to achieve to fans who would otherwise never take an interest in events which could almost be percieved as being too formal, rollerbowl with ict players is far more approachable for the avverage punter. events like these should secure the trusts long term success. that was hard work :012:
  8. who has dods been outpaced by this season?
  9. because i have eyes
  10. the odd occasion harry?! come sit beside me at a game before the end of the season so i can be sure we're watching the same thing
  11. he might not be as fast as dargo or morgan but he isnt the slowest in the squad. caff, bayne, roscoe, duncan, rory, mcsweegie and macbain are all slower, ive seen dods outsprint mackie, novo and nakamura who are all supposed to be quick he is a very powerful runner aswell, which is probably more important than pure speed for a center back
  12. robbo and brewster
  13. probably just the new towns glenrothes and east kilbride. i think clyde are the only team without a town
  14. caff cant play right back when up against natural left wingers.. ancient history there! that was the name of a topic i started 3 seasons ago the consensus then was that he cant play as right back
  15. for the 20% of the time duncan is playing well, he helps the rest of the team tick and nothing more, which is all he needs to do for the 80% of the time he's playing poorly, he's an embarrassment to scottish football when ive seen him this year there hasnt been 'the odd bad pass', its been more like a dozen plus 4 yard passes squed away in any direction but an ict player. he always seems to give away bloody throw ins, pretty frustrating really! he does try though you have to give him that, if he added a bit of bite to his game then he'd be a much better player, the guy cant tackle despite what those above post. richie hart, barry wilson and ian black can tackle, only way i could describe him is stubborn!
  16. no dilema whatsover, CLUB.
  17. it works the other way aswell smee, clubs hold out on offering players contracts when theres other options available or the players doing sheet
  18. more worried about losing hastings to aberdeen, united or torronto tbh
  19. to be fair to myself i did reply to harrys first post that said nothing but not the one where he tore off on a personal attack about how pathetic my/others life is. im glad the topic has been allowed to develop, allows us all to know the psyche of those on either side of the debates that circulate through the season and thus allows everybody to know which posters they should give credence to and those who should be ignored. as has been said harry is being petty (not for the first time recently). its ok to react strongly to others having a different opinion to your own as it shows a bit of passion and belief but when comments degrade into sweeping generalisations about other posters entire lives then theres a point reached where the original poster just makes themselves look an insecure, obsessed arse. it isnt the first time people on here have taken things to heart and i hope it wont be the last, making idiots of themselves online is important to help all of us remmeber that this site, its conflicting relationshps amd opinions are ultimatley only because we like a sport. as much as im convinced harry was just trying to wind me/others up its the language used that proves he needs to take a break from here, possibly even foget about ict until next season and take time to ask exactly why hes really here and why he cares so passionatly for the success of our current manager. if the answer is because people like me are still questioning the appointment then its time to step back and turn the feckin computer off and find a more positive outlet for his emotions! imagine this was a music website, imagine we are all a group of take that fans, imagine that for the past year me+a few others had been critising mark owens abilty or performances on stage ( :015: at this btw ) and harry was one of the leading voices in the pro mark owen group. imagine a mark fan saying this after the first good gig he'd played in months -> ""You are more happy when the team loses so you have something to complain about... really sums up how pathetic your life must really be"" you would seriously have to worry about what relationship or connection to mark owen theyve constructed which makes posters react so bitterly or show a completle lack of objectivity on the wider band or their place in the music industry. thats how i view chibber and alex especially, others who support cc slightly less militaristically get a **** of alot more respect
  20. candidate! can see wilson getting it though, dont think he has before
