I would suggest that Craig Whyte's plan is entirely on schedule. He has no interest in football or Rangers (his former father in law has remarked on this in several media articles and been joined by others) and merely views this as another financial transaction. His plan now depends on liquidation and he will do everything in his power to ensure this happens whilst protesting the contrary. His administrators ( and remember he appointed them despite HMRC seeking others) have procrastinated and delayed long enough to ensure that liquidation is almost a formality. If anyone else can show me an example of a business, never mind a football club, that is saddled with the debt and potential liabilities that Rangers are, were the administrators haven't taken immediate steps to reduce costs I would be amazed. Liquidation affords Whyte, thanks to his secure and preferential creditor status, the perfect vehicle for asset strip and value realisation. How can Rangers 2012 (Sponsored by Kleenex0 Ltd function without Ibrox Stadium, the car park and, to a lesser extent, Murray Park? Whyte is bang on track to deliver exactly what he set out to do.......................asset strip and financial gain. Spot on. I think you've hit the nail in the head. There's no other reason why the (Whytes) administrators are holding off.

Changing the defence again didn't help. I think Williams shouldn't have been dropped. Tokely was clearly not match fit and shirley that would have been noticed in training. Starting him was a mistake. Shane Sutherland is not a right winger. Billy McKay - I like him. But playing him up front with the defence punting forward to him is not the best use of his skill. He's too small for that type of play. The tactics / formations were terrible yesterday.

Well that's that. Nine points clear and 1 game in hand (home to struggling Morton). I think it is safe to say now that County will definately win the league.

I just don't know any more. The current squad are terrible. It's Butchers team. He has two years left in his contract so he is a long term project (if you call 2 years long term) but with his summer transfer window disastser I hope he can improve on this in the up and coming summer.

What radio station was that?! We were awful. Again. Just like the Rangers game last week and the Dunfermline game the week before. We played OK at Parkhead the week before that but terrible against Celtic in the cup the previous week. All in all, our current form is terrible. Relegation form and it it weren't for Dunfermline we would be fecked. Simple. IF we don't go down this season, then I worry for next season.

Good idea. Alternative Maryhill and myself headed along to Firhill stadium the other week with some fake Jaggies for a quiz night. We didn't come last, although we lost lots of points in the Partick Thistle round. £10 per person, 200 folk there, £500 prize for winning table. Profit of £1,500 from entry money. Volunteers ran the quiz so the only over head costs were the bar staff and electricity. Not sure what the margin is for alcohol sales but they probably made a profit of ~ £2,000 for the night. Not a bad turnover.

As another aside - Celtic buy Portsmouth, Stick their reserves Team in League 1 ( for now) - Play their games at Carlisle - ( Direct Rail link to Glasgow) - Win their way back to the Premier League iSouth of the border , Switch grounds to Glasgow, having apealed to the courts against restriction of trade. Celtic then will be a Premier league Club, They could always play their reserves in the SPL. How does that grab you. Remember Sansea a non-English team play in the Premier league , so natural justice would apply in any court. Interesting thought but would never happen.

With the money they have spent they should be doing better but he did take over when they were bottom. There may be undelying reasons such as his travelling commitments but on paper it seems harsh.

Oh for those days again. On current form, we'll be having them a lot sooner than we think!

Another one that I like

I can't say who as I don't know everyone at the games. Many other folk have a similar story - Dewsbury dude has a good story regarding it which he may have already mentioned. Of course you don't to block views etc but I do like to rise when we are on the attack of the goal and that can cause issues.
