  1. Butchers track record at the club so far indicates he wouldn't go for the youth players - but will take youth players from elsewhere though. e.g. Josh Meekings. Butcher would never ever sign one of his 'rejects', Even out of contract Ian Vigurs. Unfortunately he has brought players to the club that have sat on the bench, albet most of them were loanees. Winnal, Chippendale to name two.
  2. "In his single season with Inverness he became a fans favourite" Obviously Stevenage have an effective propoganda machine for their fans! I am sad to see him leave though. He had more to offer, but we can replace him.
  3. I agree, and I also think that a trip away for a week helps with team morale. However, from a fans point of view I am biased - I do like going to different locations, it's like a mini-holiday! But I assume / hope that games against Scottish teams will be tough opposition. Hopefully they are looking at top end 1st division, i.e. Falkirk, Dundee etc. If it is only HL / north teams though, then that will be terrible prep.
  4. He forgot to apply sun cream?
  5. I would seriously have to consider spending my money on football if a newco has no sanctions. I've already wasted a lot of money watching a league that is rigged. I don't know if i can carry on spending money on it if I know in advance that the league is rigged!
  6. Stranraer, Dumfries, Ayr. The south of Scotland tour. lol
  7. We'll go to Scunthorpe. I'd take Bristol / Bath and Aldershot again. Another guided tour of Brunels bridges!
  8. Last season it was all confirmed at very short notice. The game in Northern Ireland was postponed, the tour of South west England was nearly cancelled altogether because the club were struggling to find a third team to play. The pre-season tour usually ends the week before the season starts, but that doesn't mean it will be the same this year of course!
  9. The squad is coming together nicely. We could still do with around 3 more players. County have a squad of 15, we have 12 confirmed but aiming to have 15. We have folk that play amatuer football regularly, a couple of legends, and a few folk who don't play football often but are of a good fitness level like myself! All in all though, we have a good team assembling. It's open to anyone of any ability...............
  10. Yes. Regan has confirmed this. It clashes with the Champions League but we were allowed a year or 2 before implementing this.
  11. Would that be a hat trick scoring leg end Careful now. There's spies in the camp! Keeping the team secret for now! lol But yes, you are right!
  12. There didn't seem to be any rush from the other coaches to help him up!
  13. There's quite a few ICT fans expressed interest in this. I have 6 confirmed now, including an ICT legend. If you fancy playing send me a PM. I've been in talks with MacAngus and things are starting to fall together. Open to quines and loons of any ability....
  14. I realise it is a bit of clutching at straws indeed. However, I'd be very worried if I were a Saint at the moment. Midden seem to be on a downward spiral and the Fermers are slipping drastically under Lomas. Yes, they had top 6 teams to play but they were struggling before the split as well. It's not looking good for Lomas' record. Every club is rebuilding and some teams (including the Fermers) have hardly any players signed up. There's a few of us in the same boat, so it's not doom and gloom.... yet!
  15. If we take only the matches from January onwards, there is a marked improvement. Maybe both the Saints should be worried for next season. Not great, but many other clubs will be worrying with these stats as well..... http://www.theawayend.net/component/content/article/974-spl-2012-table
  16. Well we need a manager..... We have one ;) Hector the Tink?
  17. The pre-season English tour. (Especially for Dewsbury Dude) 6-3 at Killie. Hayes goal at Easter Road Tades goal at Motherwell The Park bar craic after away games The Highland March.
  18. I would have given him a one year extension as a utility player. He has made mistakes but has had good games as well. I like him in the squad. The players respected him and he has experience required. I wonder who will be filling his place on the bench. All the best Procs.
  19. Thanks for all the support, Weather was bad but it looks like it will be even worse this coming week so it could have been worse! Good reception from St Mirrren and Caley Thistle as well. Very sore today but happy to be relaxing!
  20. That's what i'm wondering. Last year it was announced a few weeks before the end of the season who will be released. It's possible that players have been told privately. Maybe the Munro / Duncan supporters back lash means that if players are being released, it will be announced publicly after the season ends. I do find it odd that Tade was offered a new contract and then dropped for the last couple of games. I can only assume that McKay was being tested and he's passed the test. I like Tansey and McKay. There seems to be a lot of negative comments about Tansey on CTO. He's had plenty of bad games for sure. But so has everyone including Jonny Hayes! Like Hayes, Tansey has had plenty of good games. McKay has played well enough and works hard enough to get a new contract. I'm sure he would score more goals if he wasn't on his own up front with the ball hoofed to him. He's just not that type of player. If he can get a good strike partner, then he could be our top scorer next season into double figures.
  21. I completely understand what your saying but my solution will be different if this happens. I won't be going to any games involving 'Rangers'. I'll treat it as a weekend off football. I couldnt't go and support another team though. It's either Caley Thistle or nothing at all. If Rangers emerge as a newco and carry on in the SPL, I might invoice them for the games we've lost at Ibrox. £25 quid to watch us lose (like in December) against a team fielded fraudulently.
  22. There'll be none of that next season when your beloved Jail end gets the SPL treatment.
  23. Scotty, is this in Toronto? I'd like to see this in Inverness lol
  24. I don't think IHE needed to officially change ends in order to infiltrate the away end!
