Tokely Offski - to Countski
Naïve!? More like realistic. These conspiracy theories wouldn't be doing the rounds had Munro not been released last season. 3 legends leave in 2 seasons and all of a sudden it's doom and gloom. If Rossco was so concerned with money and his financial future, he would have taken the money move to Turkey 2 seasons ago. We don't know if it was a standard pay that was offered, standard pay with performance based bonuses, or a wage that reflected the part he was perhaps going to play next year (eg mostly substitute). We'll never hear how much the offer was much the same as we'll probably never get a real story as to why RD and GM left. End of the day, he turned down whatever was on the table. There's no denying that, no matter the theory

ICT new home shirt 2012-14
Away shirt will change next year. Although the black kit was probably my favorite, the yellow and blue stripes were quite good too (although I would say that ;) )

ICT new home shirt 2012-14
I don't think I'll buy one because of the way the club treats it's long serving players... Oh wait, sorry. Just with other threads going the same way I'm in the habit of seeing negativity... I buy a shirt every season and actually liked the design of some of the other clothing range last season. The white tracksuit jacket in particular. Looking forward to seeing this years design. Hopefully it'll be striped again and not a 'swoosh' effect as per a couple seasons back.

Season Tickets
Subject to the fixture's and my working rota falling nicely into place, I'll be looking at getting a season ticket for the forthcoming campaign. 220 for an adult and 2 kids may be the best bet. Saves a few more pennies and the kids get a day out. Amazing how the club lacks finances to pay players wages when fans turn their backs on the club because 1 player leaves. Who would have thought!

Tokely Offski - to Countski
I can't see any similarities between munro and tokely's departures. Munro was told weeks before the end of the season that no offer would be forthcoming. Rossco has been offered a new deal and turned it down. All season people have moaned about munro's departure. I fear another season forthcoming of non-supportive jibes and negativity in the fan base because of Rossco not staying on. Time to move on...

'Such circumstances' being what? HE turned down a contract offer. I'd no doubt think about this issue entirely differenyly if it was handled in the same manner in which Dennis Wyness left the last time. IE with the offer being retracted when the player had agreed to sign. THAT was a shocking way to treat a legend! I can't see how him being offered a contract, regardless of how much of a cut in wage or whatever, can be deemed mis-treatment. The mere fact he was offered an extention would suggest he was wanted in some capacity. unfortunately now that he's stated his intent in the press and on social media to not want to sign, he's burning as many bridges toward the club as the club may be towards him

Rossco - 33yo who, to me, seemed less interested in the season as it went on. Perhaps his quietest season for us, and much of the time just had his head down and got on with it Golobart - 19yo loanee with 'the potential' to go further. Gave 110% every week and more than put in the effort to make amends for any mistakes he made (which, once he found his feet) were few and far between. With all due respect to Sir Tokely, I know which of the 2 I would opt for if I was looking to the future and long-term aims of the club. For long enough fans (myself included) have said how the club seems to lack ambition by trying to get new talent to the Highlands, and indeed retain them if/when we happen to find a gem. Now they've chosen to do this, the fans are seemingly appalled at this particular change in tradition at our club. Williams didn't come to us until midway through the season IIRC, so to say rosscoe kept him out the team is inaccurate. Rosscoe himself struggled to maintain his place towards season end, suggesting that he either wasn't as good as other options around him, or that he'd not recovered fully from an slight injury. I'll add here that I wish rosscoe all the best for the future. A true legend of the club and someone local kids have and will look up to. It's a shame there's so much speculation and/or conspiracy theories around his departure and I would have loved to say a proper goodbye to him. But these things happen in life and in football. Should he and/or the club have a change of heart and he stays, I'll be delighted, but I can't help thinking it may be the right decision for the future

You make a good point Yngwie in that 'ICT hasn't retracted its contract offer'. It's made me wonder as to whether Rossco could be waiting on a better offer from another club, and should one not be forthcoming, come back accepting the offer? Who knows? I've read a lot of the comments made on here and everyone seems to think that the club (or rather, TB) is trying to dismantle the club by releasing players with legendary status. Although I can understand that point of view, I can't really join this particular bandwagon when I reflect on what TB and the club are trying to achieve. Players who we would never get outwith a loan spell have come and tried to strengthen the side. Davies, Williams, Golobart and others. All players who many have said would make the grade at a Championship level or higher. Andrew Shinnie, Billy McKay and Ryan Esson will be our heros next term, and so long as Foran encourages from the back rather than criticising from the front, we will do well I think. Rosscoe is now 33 years of age and although I still think he is still a cracking defender, I'm unsure as to if he'd be able to perform at SPL level for another full season. Grant Munro is a classic example of 'finding his level' in that he struggled in the SPL the year we got relegated, excelled at Division 1 grade, struggled back in the SPL and was again sensational at Division 1 level. Division 1 is his level. Perhaps Rosscoe's level is now also Division 1???

Fans Event Ideas
I mentioned the electronic games night a while ago. Probably around the time Boardroom Banter was still alive and kicking. So long as people have an interest in this sort of thing, it doent really matter if it's a football related game or something else. After all, I doubt the ladies would hold much appeal for FIFA 12, and perhaps would feel better playing Just Dance or some sort of Kareoke game. My personal fave would be something akin to guitar hero or band hero. everyone can get involved and the players can create their own band. a sort of 'battle of the bands' night verses the players.

Tansey leaves ICT
I suppose with ICT only offering 1 or 2 year deals at present, the 3 years deal at Stevenage may well be better. After all, if he delivers down there, then he'll get a cut of any sign on fee should he move. Even if Stevenage offered the same wage, 3 years is obviously more appealing to a player than 1 or 2.

Tansey leaves ICT
I'll add here my best wishes to Greg. Shame we couldn't hold on to him. I had hoped he would stay following his words the other day stating he'd like to. All the best Greg

"More of your "everythings just dandy" stuff. I'll express my view of things how I like. If you don't like that, I don't care." More of your conspiracy theories more like, Renegade. You'll soon have more conspiracy theories than Neil Lennon!! Luke is absolutely right in the fact that one or two people have constantly ranted about munro and duncan all season. They just cant seem to let go and quite frankly, the record is starting to wear thin. So FFS, can we please now give it a rest with the conspiracy theories and actually start to look at the big picture. IE - Rosscoe has been offered a deal. I couldn't give a crap if it's a pay as you play deal, matches his current deal or is offered more money. The fact still remains that an offer is on the table and surely to goodness must show that Butcher see's him as part of next years squad?

Pre season fixtures
Was there not something in the courier about pre-season friendlies. I've not got my copy any more, but I believe it said we'll have no home fixtures as the pitch is getting sorted out, and they're ruled out england. I would therefore think we'll be playing SFL opposition away from home mostly, with games against Highland League teams for the fringe players.

Tokely Offski - to Countski
Considering Butcher once said 'he'd have a full team of ross tokely's' in his first season with us, I can't see how he'd in any way show rosscoe any sort of disrespect by not at least offering him a contract which he thought was at least fair. Offering him better terms for 'loyalty' is, in my mind, stupid. Loyal players are awarded with testimonials. He's had that! Rosscoe had the chance to move for money when a turkish club came in for him. He didn't go and has continued to do well for us since. Unfortunately I dont see him as a regular starter this season, much the same as when Golly and McBain slowly but surely lost their places to younger, fitter players.

Memorable moments 2011/12
Does a certain Hat Trick count? :P Aberdeen in March (1-0 win) and St Mirren away (1-0 win) were my personal fave's. Mostly because the stewards allowed the banter to flow and we could enjoy the atmosphere. In terms of performance I'd say, of the games I attended, was when we played Hearts in september. Not because I scored at half time, but because we out-played them for most of the match and looked like a 'team' rather than a group of individuals.

Highland March 10
Unfortunately, PT, although it was the tenth event, it is only the 9th completed end-to-end. The logistics last year of making Hamilton in 3.5 days ended that record. Even so, I'm personally delighted to have completed every 'possible' one, as well as bring back the fun of Highland Marching. I can't wait to see the fixture calender for next season so I can book time off work for next year's event!!! As usual, there'll be a diary. Unsure when this'll be online, but like I said, pictures are already emerging on the HM FB page.

Highland March 10
Cheers PT. Was great to see yourself after so long too. The win will make your trip back south a more pleasurable one I am sure! I've just calculated the route once more using gmap pedometer. The initial milage was plotted as being 160 miles and was as close to 'as the crow flies' as you can get. So much so that the route didnt deviate from that line by any more than 2-miles either side of it. Unfortunately we had to change our course on more than one occasion, all due to weather circumstances. Our total milage therefore has come out as being 172.1 miles - the first time, we think, that we have added to our planned milage, rather than reduce it. Once again, many thanks to everyone for their support. Some pictures are on our facebook page. If anyone has any photos/video's of the Highland March from this year or others, please PM me as it'd be great to see them. cheers

Highland March 10
Magnificent effort by everyone on board this years Highland March. Never before have we encountered so many logistical nightmares and overcome each and every one of them. We've added around 10 miles (if not more) to the initial route due to the weather, climbed hills peaking at over 2,500ft, fallen into bogs, climbed over trees, trenched through marsh-land and rivers, encountered all 4-seasons during the week, and still made it to Inverness by this afternoon! Even I'm amazed! Many many thanks to everyone who showed us support and best wishes. It really does help us on the road. Remember though, we're not finished yet!!! Essich Roundabout to the Stadium is the final leg - 5 miles. We'll leave Essich roundabout around 1030 and make our way to town via the castle and falcon square. We'll make our way to the Innes bar for a light refreshment and then, along with a few members of the CLAN, we'll leave the Innes at 1pm to make our way to the stadium for 2pm...

Highland March 10
Final full day of HM10 is upon us, and it appears another wet one is in store. Waterproofs a must today! From the viewpoint above Fort Augustus to the Essich roundabout is our aim, leaving us Essich to the stadium tomorrow. Thanks again for everyones support. We'll be seeing you all tomorrow!

Highland March 10
Day 2 completed at 1638 - 1h22m ahead of schedule. Following the gruelling challenges of the past 3 events (Killie 184 miles, Ayr 204 miles and Hamilton in 3.5 days) we've re-established a certain element of fun back into Highland Marching. A particluar off-road section near the Dukes Pass at Brig O' Turk saw one or two of us (ok, just me) fall knee-deep into boggy marsh-land... Twice!! Gringo, however, called it a day at Aberfoyle. The inclines of the route caused havoc on a heavy chest, following a month-long sick bug. #HM10 is the 'trend' for twitter should people like to get behind us. Some cracking photos and stories already this year, and it's only day 2!!!

Highland March 10
Day 1 yet to close, but we're making great progress and are already on the West Highland Way. We'll try and update the progress where we can, considering 75% of the route is off-road. Thanks to all at the game for a great reception and for your messages here and on facebook & twitter. #HM10

Highland March 10
Last year saw a fair bit of disappointment as it was the first year not a single person had covered the entire distance. This year, we're looking to bounce back and re-claim the end-to-end accolade as well as enjoy what should be a challenging and eventful week. As a side note, the highland march website has been updated to show the diary and gallery of last years outing. ... www.highlandmarch.co.uk As ever, all support is very much appreciated, but be on the look out for the ICT CLAN supporters, who will be joining us marchers from Falcon Square to the Stadium on Saturday 12th May.... BRING IT ON

CTO Mobile Web
Loving the look and layout of the CTO site from my Blackberry. Before it would be very tempremental as it tried to load the whole main site. Has anyone else noticed a change to it?
