  1. Ross County draw @3.50
  2. When's the semi final draw?
  3. And what were the away team called that day??? Was it not Inverness Caledonian Thistle??? COME ON ICT
  4. here's a wee bit of fact for you... When ICT beat Celtic at parkhead 3-1, Aberdeen drew 1-1 in the same round with St Mirren, after being 0-0 at half time, and 1-0 down for a short period. The original fixture between us was postponed... Now, Aberdeen have today drawn 1-1 with St Mirren, after the score was 0-0 at half time and St Mirren winning 1-0 for a short period. Judging by the weather, our fixture could well repeat itself (although it'll be for an unplayable pitch rather than a broken stadium). History seems to be repeating itself. The omen's are on our side people... (William Hill has ICT down as 13/2 for the win, 18/1 to repeat 2003, and 66/1 for a 3-1 victory)

  6. Speaking of dodgy goings on in football, Birmingham player Jordan Mutch has just been shown an 'invisable yellow card' in their match with Everton.... Back to the point of Neil Lennon being a dirty cheat, does it not seem slightly hipocrytical now that it was Dougie MacDonald that seemingly showed bias toward Celtic that day, yet he turned on the official at Tannadice earlier this season??? It's a conspiracy
  7. None of those are as good a look-a-like as this one of Gringo and Stephen Lewis (On The Buses/Last of the Summer Wine)...

  10. One thing i noticed about the draw is this; Aberdeen met St Mirren in the same round we met Celtic when we beat them in 2000. I hope history can repest itself, and we can KO aberdeen out at Hampden in the semi's... In all seriousness though, Utd on tuesday was my first game since Roy's tesimonial, and I must admit I was rather stunned to see how we lacked any sort of organisation, and how there was a severe lack of communication and passion. Maybe the lads have had an eye on this big game, but the Caley Thistle I know show passion in every game, and not just a cup run. COME ON ICT - GET BACK THE PASSION, AND GET TO GRIPS ON THE LEAGUE AS WELL AS THE CUP
  11. 10 WEEKS UNTIL THE OFF!!! END OF MONTH REPORT: February As you can see, there are only 10 weeks to go until we set off for the 9th annual Highland March. (Roll on the Split because we STILL have no idea where we're going!) Training this year has seen many surprises, not to mention I've actually done some this year 380 miles since New Years Eve to be exact, and I have closed the gap on Yompa's training miles (460) from 120 miles, to just 80. BA - Who is yet to be officially renamed Flymo - missed out on hitting 200 miles by the months end, but did indeed do so on March 1st. A fantastic effort, of which has been deserving of an unofficial promotion in HM Rank to 'Honourary Cadet' Flymo and myself have been entertaining outselves on the road with the invention of a new game called 'Car-Car' - a simple game that can become extremely competetive, especially along the main roads around the back of Culloden, the A96 and Nairn. (Details of the game and rules on how to play may appear shortly - once we confirm the scoring system ) 'Trash Cash' has seen varied fortunes amongst the troops, although Yompa seems to be extending his lead after striking 'gold' on more than 1 occasion. Gringo is still struggling at the back of the pack, and even a trip to Inverness saw a weekend haul of only 8p Roll on further training miles in March, and who knows, we may even have some news on the fundraising side of things shortly too Brigadier GringoJnr :salute:

  19. Love Street - Last day of the season - 1-0 win with Caff scoring a header. That was 4 years ago and I had just walked from Inverness on Highland March 5. There to meet us was my partner (now wife) and her two kids. No sooner had we had our pre-match drinks, we found ourselves a decent seat behind the goal. The mrs and her daughter sat next to me, whilst the wee man sat directly in front. All around there were teenagers and adults relaxed in their chairs with their feet resting on the back of the seat in front. Her lad decided to copy and was waving his caley flag and enjoying his day - it was after all his first ever away day (and I dont think he's had an away day since:ponder: ) I think it was shortly before Caff scored (his fave player at the time too) that a steward made a b-line for the wee man, tapped his feet off the chair (quite vigerously too) and told him to keep his feet of the chair. To say the wee man was heart-broken was an understatement. One or two people joined me in tryin to find out why he was such an Needless to say I was ready to swing for him too, and those who know me will tell you I dont have an aggressive bone in my body. The other people who were doing the same (resting feet on chairs) were not spoken to, yet this :******: decided to pick on a 6-year-old. I contacted ICT initially to raise the concern and see what I could do, and also to get contact details at st mirren. I had the sympathy of the club (ICT) and they were great. However, St Mirren were less than co-operative. It took 3 or 4 e-mails to even get a responce. When I did, I was given the most feeble excuses/reasons/actions etc and even told not to contact the address again as it was a personal address. I didnt hear from them again until 24 hours before we were next due in Paisley, where we were offered free tickets for the match. (great notice, 24 hours). I replied to say we couldnt accept because of the short notice. We never heard back from them again...
