Careful lads/lasses, I seem to remember some people weren't very impressed with a new managerial appointment when first it came in to being. I'm quite sure there is good reason for his being with us, especially if he has been offered a contract.

ICT consistency..................something else that is consistent is/are the goals we score, they are incredibly fantastic I have been watching them time after time and they never fail to amaze me.......... the build ups, the opportunism, the execution.......nobody does it better!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favourite .............must go to David Raven's fairy tale ending against Ceptic...but there were so many others so well taken and none more valuable than James Vincent's cracker in the Final................................The Red and the Blue................Nobody does it better .................no song could be more fitting.

Another contributing factor is the strong promotion on Sky and other tv companies brainwashing us all to watch the EPL and European football which is nearly always so much better presented than the Scottish game. The good news is the wonderful turn out of the youngsters in our colours, the promotion in schools of the local team and of course Winning the Scottish cup. Success breeds success so here's to another exciting season with ICT. methinks the future is getting brighter.

This is what is holding us back from being the Top Club in the league. We are so close to being that . If only we could find another 2/3K crowd at the matches and some generous sponsors we could afford to keep most of the players that are tempted by money. On the other hand we have brilliant players in the squad who just like being with us regardless of the money and will play their legs off for the Club so for the time being Let's hope J H can find us more of that calibre until Inverness and the Highlands wakes up to the reality of the big asset this city has. We have never had to buy our success in the past, should we look to be doing that now or can we accept a less successful period until such times as the development gang are ready to step up to the mark ? which they will do under our manager's guidance but it will take time. Then there are the players who just want to play and not be 'benchers' all the time, they are so valuable but how can you hold on to them when the poachers sniff around with lucrative offers and false promises? Optimism, pessimism, realism all comes into the equation, take your pick IHE , I'm just glad we have the brains and balls behind the Club to give us what we have had and will continue to give us as much as they can in the immediate future and hopefully beyond

Like Scotty I too supported John Hughes from the start. and I took some stick from a number of the posters for sticking up for him. I am glad I did as he was given a hell of a time on here, Some would have him hung drawn and quartered without given trial. It infuriated me so much that I hit back at these posters hoping to make them feel a little of what they were giving to him, whether it worked or not I will never know and don't really care as the proof of the pudding was in the eating. Anyway John proved he can rise above all that, he and the Team have given us a season to remember and Inverness a chance to fully support a great Club. I just hope the chance is taken. Nice to get back to my PC, my tablet got overexcited and stopped working properly....maybe it was because Lauraness mooned me..what a cheek or was it two cheeks? Anyway the lads did the Highlands proud, lost their way a bit in the second half but true to form when we needed a goal Vincent was there to smack Marley's rebound into the net.......what a moment, my dream came true. i said many years ago Inverness would one day have a Team in the top league win the Scottish cup and then the league. Well we are half way there now. What a season this has been what more could us fans ask for? to qualify for Europe in third place, then win the Scottish Cup on top of that. What a script !!! Another highlight for me was our Yogi with his two lovely daughters and the Cup between them having their picture taken I hope someone will post that photo on this forum as it is a cracker. Delight and pride personified. Well done ICT so very well done!
