  1. I'm still for a 14 team league and split it top six bottom 8 after home and away this means the bottom 8 teams have takings for 1 extra home game and top 6 have 1 home game less, or looking at it another way the top 6 including the other 4 will have 1 home game less in a league of 10 Which is certainly a lot fairer than 3 x11 then you might play at home you might not for the next 5, Is 36 and 40 games fair ? if you count every game played in a season including Europe, and 2 cups I would imagine there is quite a contrast per club bottom half 40 top 36, it may actually even things out. As for Walter Smith saying that Aberdeen and United had their greatest success in a 10 team league, A certain team in 3rd place in a current 12 team league may blow that theory clean out of the water, especially with more European games looming.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/tv/3329231/The-Only-Way-Is-off-to-the-nick.html Hes got a good alibi, he was at Perth train station getting attacked by ICT fans with his uncle Albert, so it couldnt have been him at the night club.
  3. Tuffey, ?,tokely, munro, golly ross,?,duncan, mcbain ? Sutherland Not sure who will fill RB and would imagine a youthful pairing from central midfield and striker who played in Mcbains testimonial, with the first team regulars on the bench. Or play it safe and put out the regulars
  4. Certainly is and Rangers have a lot of midweek games prior including sporting Liz away on the Thursday night,St Jonny then us, they have a run of 2 games a week for 13 games before us, (assuming they beat Killy in the cup) but there will be plenty of points for us to pick up before then.
  5. Would anyone like to nominate posters for the following. Poster who uses 'feckin' most frequently in posts. Best ICT fans Utube clip. Most misunderstood poster. Most humorous poster. RSPCA kindness to ducks award.
  6. The things that I need to work on is to remind myself that I have been too critical of my team due to the fact that they have played so well. Only 4 defeats in 17 games and the expectation kind of rises that defeat isn't really an option any more. In the St Mirren/Killy games I have forgotten to look at what is good and hone in what goes wrong and kind of forgetting why I support my local team. I have kind of leapfrogged the thought of a top six for the first time and instead zooming in on playing some European team in a cup next season. ICT have some great fans that support the team to the bitter end without the pressure of expectation and I must remind myself to try and reach the level of those fans.
  7. I dont think he would be so smug if he was filmed and u tubed
  8. I am picking this team after watching the St Mirren and Killy matches. The plan. use the full width of the pitch, numerous attacking options, diagonal balls up the wings and to forwards from Grant/Esson overlapping runs on both wings ---------Esson Tokely--Innes--Munro--Shinnie Ross--Duncan---Foran--Blumenshtein Sutherland----Rooney Esson superb picks himself. Tokely- would play well anywhere and is outstanding next to Grant but the ball trickles between Duff and Ross, so I would move him to right back for overlapping runs with Ross on the wing. Innes- as a stand in for Tokely. Munro-solid in defense, can kick a really accurate long ball always a threat in the box Shinnie-turning in to a great defender, can quickly shift up the wing in attack with an eye for goal too. Ross- a fast clever winger can pass well and would be more involved with Tokely on the wing. Duncan--strong defensive midfielder and drops back to protect right wing when Tokely goes forward Foran--pulled in to midfield for more close range passing options and will find himself in better goal scoring positions there Blumenshtein- looks determined on the ball and worthy of a start on the wing. Sutherland and Rooney big solid players with enough skill and strength to put the ball in the net.
  9. I am assuming that its still ?1 per share, I heard that a soap star from ITV 2 is interested, must admit though, " THE ONLY WAY IS ICT" sounds good to me.
  10. It'll still take a while coming from Fort Augustus way all the same
  11. I'll be working in Aberdeenshire tomorrow and would have been having an overnighter somewhere but will travel back to sneck instead for the game. What distance will you be traveling, to see ICT take on Killy on Wednesday night.

  13. I wouldnt blame tiredness either, when the team are winning, games cant come quick enough, not playing DDU was deemed a disappointment and not a blessing, maybe arrogance is creeping in that we will win the game as its only St Mirren. I would say that things didnt go quite right for too many players too frequently than normal and we didnt get away with it this time, We also had enough proven players on the pitch to rest Hayes and still win the game, it just didnt quite work out for us on the day. At least we only have to wait till Wednesday for another chance of 3 points
  14. 4th place only gets into the Europa league this season if 2nd or 3rd place wins the cup or if 1st place wins it against 2nd or 3rd. If the league winners win it against someone below 4th then the runners up take that place. Just have to make sure we finish 3rd and win the cup this season! Is that fact or assumption ? its just County werent allowed in as runner up
  15. I think he will sign, as as hard as it would have been to believe a year ago, we may well be playing in Europe in 8 or 9 months, if we don't catch Hearts it will be because they are sitting in between Rangers and Celtic and if thats the case we had better take ownership of being 4th in the league and either win the cup or hope that one of the other 3 mentioned do so. It would be a shame if he missed out on playing in a European cup competition with his current team mates next season if he didnt sign.
  16. There is also a ski ramp made out of wood opposite the thistle hotel between budget and where the esso garage used to be, some of the slope remains and there are still the lights there, Ive driven past it a 1000 times and never noticed till Titch on Mfr mentioned it a few years ago.

Now if ICT were to offer to pick fans up at 9 ish in their minibus, how cool would that be getting picked up from your house in the ICT bus, just a thought.
  18. Can anyone remember a building in the ness islands I think it may have had a stage or something
  19. I wasn't there so cant really comment nor do I know any of the people involved but I will say. If it was a stag do they were probably well tanked up and I would also imagine that not all of them were ICT fans but went along to the game because the stag wanted them there. Just put it down to people being drunk and were trying to, get attention/impress their buddies in some strange way. Save your energy for the St Mirren game and keep your memories of the match, You know, Always believe in Munro.
  20. Being belted at school A mock chop and chips at Renzos behind the college. Gunsmiths selling guns Your feet getting stuck to the carpet whilst dancing in the Hebridean The Columba having a great bar Having a good night out in Berties Driving down the high street One thing I don't miss (Stinging eyes from smoke, fag burns on clothes, Waking up the morning after with hair and clothes that absolutely stink of fags, any smoker would disagree with this of course, just like a fish factory worker would say they cant smell fish.) Seeing as its Christmas the words between the brackets don't exist and is just a figment of your imagination as I don't want to offend smokers at this time of year.

Just back from Aviemore the roads are black, no snow or slush on A9, temp about -3, traction ok, dont know what it would be like with a heavy foot on the accelerator or hard braking but only idiots drive like that in this weather. No news is good news regarding train south too. http://www.journeycheck.com/firstscotrail/

Eh? I'll give u a wee clue, CIS cup semi We might have made the CIS cup semi had Celtic not gotten six goals against us. I know its a shame we didnt score 7 goals.
