  1. Dan Park scored for Cove tonight (26 Nov) in a 3-0 win over Inverurie and Andrew Grieg also scored for Brora this afternoon, which I missed earlier.

  4. Tonight (25 Nov), Sam Winnall and Marley Watkins both scored for Barnsley in a 5-2 drubbing at home by Nottingham Forest. Marley Watkins was sent offin the second half.
  5. Tonight (22 Nov) Tobi Sho-Silva scored for Bromley in a 2-2 draw at Braintree in the National League. And, I've just spotted that Steve Williams left Barrow (National League) at the start of this season. He dropped down a league to National League North playing for AFC Fylde. So far he has scored twice for them and they sit top of the league.
  6. Yes, great free kick he scored a couple of weeks ago in an FA Cup match. Don't think I saw him playing for us, and only have seen him on TV for Oxford. Seems decent.
  7. What better way to get over the disappointment of another ICT loss than to watch Andy Murray comprehensively beat his old adversary, Noval Djokovic in the ATP World Tour finals, this evening. A truly great climax to an incredible year, especially the last six months, which has seen him deservedly reach number 1 in the rankings. Also, not to forget his brother Jamie, who with his doubles partner, Bruno Soares, are the year end number 1 doubles team too. Just brilliant. What a credit they both are to themselves, their sport and their country. Saying "well done" hardly seems sufficient to recognise their achievements, but I'll say it anyway, "Well Done"

  9. Stuart Armstrong scored Celtic's winning goal tonight (18 Nov) in a 1-0 win at Killie.
  10. H/T 1-1 F/T 2-1 ICT Doumbouya Aberdeen Rooney Crowd 5251
  11. Good question! He made two appearances early Aug, one mid Sep, none in Oct, and now three in Nov, but he did go off after 75 mins last night, although I think that may have been tactical.
  12. Jordan Roberts scored his first goal for Crawley Town to night (Tue 15 Nov), and was later subbed, in an FA Cup 1st round replay at Bristol Rovers.
  13. 12 Nov 2016 Highland League Z Sutherland (Brora R 8 - Fort William 0) FA Trophy R Eagle (AFC Sudbury 4 - Romford 0) Spain Segundo Div (Group 2) D Lopez ( Arenas de Getxo 1 - Real Madrid Res 1)
  14. Been doing a bit of digging about Gregory Tade. I know he moved to Qatar in the summer, playing for Qatar SC. They have played 5 or 6 league games this season (since Sept). Their results are easy enough to find, but it is almost impossible to find out their goalscorers. But by trawling back through two months worth of Twitter, I'm pretty sure that Tade has scored at least 4 times for them. Hard to be absolutely certain as my Arabic is non existent, and even using the translate option, the info is not always easy to understand. Anyway, I've updated my records to include 4 goals for him.
  15. Good summary DD, hard to find fault with any of that.
  16. I know I said top 2 or 3, but on further thought I can't think of 2 others, only Hoy coming close.
  17. OK, I got it wrong by about seven months. Fantastic performance by Murray, and thoroughly well deserved. Surely must be in the top 2 or 3 of Scotland's best ever sportsmen. Well done Andy. Another few majors still a real possibility for you. Good luck.
  18. Well done Yngwie, I've been looking for him for a while now. I'll add him to by ex ICT players list.
  19. Just noticed that Robert Eagle, who has played for a number of clubs in the Norfolk area since leaving us, is now with AFC Sudbury, in the Ryman Isthmian League, and scored a couple of times for them in October.
  20. Andre Blackman also sent off for Crawley yesterday (5 Nov)
  21. 5 Nov 2016 FA Cup A MacDonald (Merstham 0 - Oxford U 5) B Mckay ( Oldham 2 - Doncaster 1) SL 2 R McAllister (Peterhead 1 - Brechin 3) Highland League D Gillespie (2) (Strathspey 0 - Brora R 5)
  22. My wife and I celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary today. We're leaving shortly for a week-end break in a hotel with close family and friends. What better anniversary present could I wish for than another win at Parkhead? Oh, and Andy Murray achieving no 1 in the world tennis rankings later today would be good too. You can bet that I'll be having sneaky looks at my phone all afternoon and evening to follow the progress of both. Come on ICT.
  23. H/T 1-1 F/T 1-2 ICT Doumbayou Celtic Christie Crowd 50234
  24. Well done to the big fellow. We can all be patronising and say "it is only Guinea". But, they are only a few spots lower than Scotland in the world rankings,(64 and 57). We would be thrilled if one of our Scottish players got into our national squad. Maybe this will be the confidence boost he needs to really show his worth and become a fan favourite. I'd certainly like to see him start converting some of these heading chances he has had in recent games.
  25. An early goal tonight (30 Oct) for Toby Agdestein, before being replaced after about half an hour (presumably through injury). His club, Haugesund, currently ahead 2-1 at Aalesund in Norway.
