Contract Situation
Disappointed that they are going? Yes, but but inevitable I fear. Devastated that they are going? No, Vincent will always have a place in our hearts for his winner at Hampden. But he has hardly played since through injury. Williams I think is a 'nearly man'. Decent player but never quite made a position 'his own' so that it became impossible for Yogi to leave him on the bench. Edit Don't know why Rig's blank quote appeared. I didn't intend to quote anybody!

Sixth Place IMPERATIVE
Top 6 is still a possibility. There are still many combinations of results which could do it for us. I've left St Johnstone out because I think they will win at least one of their two remaining games, giving them 46 points. Our best is 45 by winning all 3 games. Partick could get to 46 by winning all 3 of their remaining games, but that would mean Ross Co only getting to 43 max. Dundee could get to 46 but that is unlikely, as they have to play Celtic and Ross Co. Even if they won those two, then Ross Co could only get to 43 max. Ross Co could get to 46 by winning their last two games, but then Dundee and Partick could only get to 43 max Motherwell could get to 47 but surely will not get beyond 41 as they play us and Celtic. If we were to beat 'Well and Dundee Utd but only draw with Hearts, that would put us on 43 as well. Then it would be down to goal difference between up to 4 teams, which could be very tight indeed So, by my maths, 45 will definitely do it for us, 43 we'd still have a shout, any fewer than 43 we'll probably miss out. All still to play for then. We have to play like we did against Count for another 3 games. Come on lads, you can do it. Onwards and Upwards!

Sun 20 Mar 2016 Scot Premier Billy Mckay scores both goals (a penalty and an injury time equaliser) in Utd's 2-2 draw with Dundee in their derby match, a result that just about keeps our slim chance of 'top 6', alive

Fon Williams or Brill
Yes, I'm sure Brill's first game was the pre season friendly at Charlton, still very much Butcher's time.

Inverness CT -V- Hibernian
Trying hard to read some positives into last night's defeat. Wasn't there so but it sounds as though we made a fight of it in second half. Why is it that we can't play with that intensity from the start? It seems these days that only when 'our backs are to the wall' do we begin to play, usually too late. At least it must have been good to see Foran play a whole game again. I must admit I never thought that would happen after his long absence. Also good that Meekings is fit again. Just need Raven back at right back and the defence will be OK again. Staying with the injury list, only a few more to go, Vincent, Doran (will we ever see him again?), Mutumbo, before we will have a full 1st team squad to pick from. So that must be a plus. I'm sure we will need everyone at their best for the undoubted 'dog fight' we now have to retain our place in the top flight. How many twists and turns remain before the end of the season?

Yes, I think we will all be rooting for Peterhead that day (10 Apr). Great day out for Peterhead fans getting a trip to Hampden. Good luck to them.

IF we needed a new manager.....
Neil Lennon is available. Now if that little s*** were ever to be offered the ICT job, I would definitely sell my shares and not watch us again until he'd gone.

League Cup Final
I know what you mean. Extra time and a few injuries to both teams would have been better for us thinking of our next two crucial games. But, on balance, I'm pleased that both major cups are both in the Highlands. I hope we can add to Hibs' misery on Wednesday night. We've had enough misery ourselves lately, - time to dish a bit out!

St Johnstone -V- Inverness CT
The indiscipline was there to see on Sunday too. Sounds as though it was even worse tonight. Last thing we need is to have a bunch of suspensions over the last few games before the split, and of course after the split, which will almost certainly be a dog fight for us to to avoid 11th place. What has got into Warren? Is it that he is missing the stability of Meekings alongside him, and that he finds he is having too much to do on his own to hold the defence together, causing frustration with consequential moments of madness? Sooner he sorts himself out the better.

Wow, I hadn't even noticed Storey's absence as well. I wonder if Storey was a bit under the weather on Sunday? He certainly had a poor game.

No Mutombo, not even on bench? Must be injured surely. Interested to see how Liam Hughes does in his first full start. Anyway, good luck to the lads. A win should see us into top six

St Jones Town - Match Preview
After Sunday, I think Mutumbo deserves a start. I'd start him instead of Vigurs, but play 4/4/2 with Mutumbo up front with Storey.
