  1. Alright, fair enough. Yes Foran certainly isn't Fergie. A fair point though... before Aberdeen, Fergus was sacked by St Mirren. After Aberdeen, he was famously a game away from the sack before beating Nott Forest on way to 1990 FA Cup. After that, the rest is history. Regarding player criticism in the media, it maybe shouldn't happen but yesterday emotions probably running high. Foran is by no means the first. Since you mention Fergie, he slaughtered the Aberdeen team saying he was ashamed of their performance in the post-match interview after 1983 Scottish Cup Final extra-time 1-0 victory over Rangers. I'd say the players had a right to be tired ... just days earlier they had beaten Real Madrid after extra time to win a European trophy. This is probably for another thread ... sorry.
  2. You think i find our situation entertaining? How dare you! ... I care deeply about the club ... one of the few to brave the trip to Dens despite a busy work schedule ... and followed ardently since its entry into the Scottish League ... bemused by your claim alleging insensitivity on my part given your ridiculous personal attack on me here (shocking!!) and the widespread insensivity to a club legend on here who has certainly disappointed yes but is effectively a fan himself ... sounds like he had issues behind the scenes to deal with which we probably shouldn't automatically rule out as having no grounds in fact. I appreciate only too well the spectre of job losses and it pains me but I also understand what the accounts say ... that we don't as a club live comfortably from year to year ... anything but! There is no big rock candy mountain from cup runs or player sales so our manager alternatives are sadly very limited.
  3. May get completely shot down for this but here goes ... in any walk of life one learns most when one is given a baptism of fire ... RF mentioned learning much more from this than a comfortable top six experience ... certainly a costly, painful on-the-job manager training for the fans/club to experience but ... could he be a much better manager next season for this and should he maybe be given the opportunity to start the season? The results have ended better, he loves the club, is tenacious and we have no £ for attracting a sexy alternative. Release the dogs ...
  4. He took over a bottom six team last year. We were 7th in 2015-16.
  5. Fisher made plenty appearances before Christmas albeit a number as sub (because Doumbouya was scoring more then). In all that time he only scored once ... against Celtic. His form has improved ... but back then I completely understand why RF was trying others ... and I'm no happy-clapper / fan of RF
  6. The audited accounts for the year after we were relegated showed an actual loss of over £900k. So what we took in was £900k less than what we paid out. Plain and straight. The accounts are available free to the public on the betacompanieshoise website.
  7. It might have been helpful for potential future employers to know before they make the same mistake.
  8. Who are the 3 bad apples he has in the dressing room that he should have kicked out in January? (his BBC interview post match)
  9. The singing was absolutely brilliant tonight ... and what a team performance ... gritty, professional, beautiful passing at times ... Why only now?
  10. If we don't at least ask questions of Hamilton by beating Dundee tomorrow, then we will deserve our fate ... come on ICT ... please!!
  11. Future employers assumes that Richie will leave sometime ... and that someone else would be interested in his football management skills I don't think any video interview spin can gloss over this season's utter shambles.
  12. Genuinely thought the quote was a wind-up ... but now seen the video ... cannot believe he is still coming out with this
  13. The curse on managers leaving Inverness continues ... https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1002427/raith-rovers-confirm-john-hughes-and-kevin-mcbrides-departure-following-relegation-to-league-one/
  14. A mere fortnight again Dundee changed manager. At that stage they looked like a dead man walking ... in free fall ... THE team to catch. They are now virtually safe of even the playoff place. The sin of procrastination. The blame lies fully ... fully with the board.
  15. Why didn't they do it after going down 1-0???
  16. On any given day, all the teams below top 3 can be poor. Seen games this season at ICT where folks around us have said of the opposition "you know they're pretty poor as well". The problem is we are poor virtually every week.
  17. Billy King to Dundee Utd on pre-contract ... seems a bit premature given he doesn't yet know what division ICT or Utd will be in next season https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/986465/dundee-united-confirm-capture-of-inverness-loan-star-billy-king-on-a-pre-contract-from-hearts/

Like the home kit. Initially wasn't sure about the away kit but it's growing on me ... especially with the gold trim ... possibly the closest we'll get to a precious metal for some time.
  19. Laing isn't great with crosses into the box though. Often on back foot, poor positioning so he can't head clear. Caught out again today that way with the Hamilton goal.
  20. Thank goodness for the points and the final whistle ... but we never ever make it easy for ourselves
  21. Anyone heard anything about RF being on rolling 12 months that can continue for 4 years and that the feeling is to see how he gets on until Christmas/New Year in Championship?
  22. Wonder if Rangers fans ever thought this back in the day.
