  1. Fisher made plenty appearances before Christmas albeit a number as sub (because Doumbouya was scoring more then). In all that time he only scored once ... against Celtic. His form has improved ... but back then I completely understand why RF was trying others ... and I'm no happy-clapper / fan of RF
  2. The audited accounts for the year after we were relegated showed an actual loss of over £900k. So what we took in was £900k less than what we paid out. Plain and straight. The accounts are available free to the public on the betacompanieshoise website.
  3. It might have been helpful for potential future employers to know before they make the same mistake.
  4. Who are the 3 bad apples he has in the dressing room that he should have kicked out in January? (his BBC interview post match)
  5. The singing was absolutely brilliant tonight ... and what a team performance ... gritty, professional, beautiful passing at times ... Why only now?
  6. If we don't at least ask questions of Hamilton by beating Dundee tomorrow, then we will deserve our fate ... come on ICT ... please!!
  7. Future employers assumes that Richie will leave sometime ... and that someone else would be interested in his football management skills I don't think any video interview spin can gloss over this season's utter shambles.
  8. Genuinely thought the quote was a wind-up ... but now seen the video ... cannot believe he is still coming out with this
  9. The curse on managers leaving Inverness continues ... https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1002427/raith-rovers-confirm-john-hughes-and-kevin-mcbrides-departure-following-relegation-to-league-one/
  10. A mere fortnight again Dundee changed manager. At that stage they looked like a dead man walking ... in free fall ... THE team to catch. They are now virtually safe of even the playoff place. The sin of procrastination. The blame lies fully ... fully with the board.
  11. Why didn't they do it after going down 1-0???
  12. On any given day, all the teams below top 3 can be poor. Seen games this season at ICT where folks around us have said of the opposition "you know they're pretty poor as well". The problem is we are poor virtually every week.
  13. Billy King to Dundee Utd on pre-contract ... seems a bit premature given he doesn't yet know what division ICT or Utd will be in next season https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/986465/dundee-united-confirm-capture-of-inverness-loan-star-billy-king-on-a-pre-contract-from-hearts/

Like the home kit. Initially wasn't sure about the away kit but it's growing on me ... especially with the gold trim ... possibly the closest we'll get to a precious metal for some time.
  15. Laing isn't great with crosses into the box though. Often on back foot, poor positioning so he can't head clear. Caught out again today that way with the Hamilton goal.
  16. Thank goodness for the points and the final whistle ... but we never ever make it easy for ourselves
  17. Anyone heard anything about RF being on rolling 12 months that can continue for 4 years and that the feeling is to see how he gets on until Christmas/New Year in Championship?
  18. Wonder if Rangers fans ever thought this back in the day.

Yes I saw it. Here it is. Sounds like footballers thinking they're all that ... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/watch-raith-boss-john-hughes-10328286
  20. Either that or they become our feeder club
  21. Smaller first team squad supplemented by development players has to be the way forward. Charlie Christie on BBC said we had a first team squad of 26 and Pele operated with one of 18. That additional payroll must come to a tidy sum. Sadly the development squad is another area where County seem to be streets ahead of us.
  22. On the Fans ownership thread elsewhere I posted about the club's annual accounts. In that post It's clear that they are easy to find/download. We've accumulated well over £3m of losses since 1994 and the people who have invested almost £4m in shares are unlikely to see any of their £ again, not because they don't want the money back but because the vast majority of the money has gone over the years in keeping the club alive. It relies on windfalls like Christie. I'm not an insider, I'm just reading the publicly available accounts. Given we made a £1m loss in the year following the last relegation, we could be staring down the barrel of an insolvency event (and all that that entails) in the next one/two years unless the board are ruthless with spend or we get a significant benefactor ... and that's even if we keep fans / ST-holders coming along. Goodness knows it's hard viewing just now but, plain and straight, I truly believe that our decisions as supporters over the next few months will come down to whether we want to see our club die or not.
