  1. The way it was going at 2-1 I’d have taken 2-1! Great to get a good result and getting a boost to our goal difference. Great goals too!
  2. Should have been 5 there with Vincent chance. Good save.
  3. 1-4!! He’s had a quiet night but what a goal. Dan Mackay, he’s one of our own!! Another assist for Sutherland. He’s becoming an impact player for us. That said, this is not a 4-1 performance!
  4. We’ve suddenly found a top marksman in Toddy. Game time has given him confidence and we are reaping the benefits. If we can see this out, Saturday’s game is vital!
  5. Not Storey’s best night but winning is all that matters. Dundee 2 up at Ayr.
  6. 1-3. Toddy! We needed that. Another great goal! Set up by Sutherland. Our only effort this half I think.
  7. We’ve been very poor this half so far. Perhaps time to make changes. Not seen much from Storey or Mackay so far.
  8. And now they’ve scored. Morton have been pushing for it so it had been coming. Hopefully we now get a grip of this again. What were be claiming for? Offside or foul?
  9. What’s the difference between him heading it then picking it up and him kicking it then picking it up? By picking it up, he risked conceding the free kick.
  10. I agree. And the free kick was where he had the ball in his hands so spot on by the linesman and ref. We’d have been upset if it had been at the other end though.
  11. Even start. Morton missed a sitter but then Mackay did. We then took more control and scored two good goals, albeit with some controversy about the first but, who cares, the decision went our way! We need to keep the head in the second half and ensure we don’t let Morton back into it as they have had their chances and looked dangerous at times. We are back in the play offs as things stand. Could Ayr do us a favour too? 0-0 in that game as I type this.
  12. Toddy! 0-2!! Great turn and shot.
  13. Allardice! 1 up. Indirect free kick. Touch by Allan. Belted in by Allardice. Controversial decision. The linesman made the call that the goalie picked it up from a pass back. It was played back to the ‘keeper who headed it on the goal line then picked it up.
  14. Just missed our best chance. Looked easier for Mackay to score. Two attempts. First hit the keeper, second went well over the bar.
  15. We are growing into the game. Two poor Storey shots. Early on we just had one header from Deas. Nothing on target yet. Not a patch on Friday so far.
  16. We should be 1 down. Header thankfully straight at Ridgers from a corner. Storey and Mackay have switched wings.
  17. Unlike Friday, Storey has started on the right and Mackay on the left. Very even opening but Morton have the territorial advantage.
  18. Change to team. Welsh out, MacGregor starting. Brad Mckay is the captain. The pitch is very sandy in places.
  19. As said above, a big night tonight. Livestream connected. All we need now is an away win! Unchanged team, which will hopefully help with momentum and confidence. Interesting that Duffy and Keatings have not made the bench? No word of injuries so others preferred?
  20. I agree but this week will give us a good indication as to whether the play offs are achievable. We need two good results against Morton and Queen of the South. We lost to both last time out, in games we should have done better in, so time to right two wrongs!
  21. I admire your optimism Jack, but we are only in the last 16 with a tough game with St Mirren to come!
  22. I agree this will be a tough game and we are definitely underdogs. St Mirren’s form is mixed. Before beating Hamilton 3-0 in the cup yesterday, they had won 2, drawn 5 and lost 3 of their previous 10 league games, with the wins being at home to County and Kilmarnock. Their defeats have been to the top three, Rangers, Celtic and Hibs. We can go there looking for a result and, if we get one, it will be a bonus in my opinion. We have 6 games to come in April, 7 if we win the cup tie, and other than Morton all our league rivals are out of the cup. But we need to focus on this week and getting good results on Tuesday at Morton and on Saturday at Queen of the South. Despite our recent run, we are only 5 points ahead of 9th so we can’t lose focus.
  23. The Lowland League has also finished, with Kelty declared Champions on a points per match basis.
