  1. This is quite a game. Really enjoying it. Hopefully we can win it.
  2. 1-1. Good finish but our player marking McGrath in build up slipped at the wrong time. Not the first time a player has slipped tonight.
  3. Decent 45 after slow start. Very even and we don’t look like a team in a league below. We could easily have scored through Toddy and Allan but equally the woodwork saved us. St Mirren playing dangerous long balls to pacy players so we need to keep our wits about us. This game could go either way but we have matched them so far.
  4. Lucky there. St Mirren player should have scored. Lucky it deflected onto the bar and into hands of Ridgers.
  5. Toddy so close there on turn after great Mackay run. Needed a good save to keep him out.
  6. Pretty even opening 20 minutes and we have held our own and had a few attempts. Mackay has had a couple of shots on target and Ridgers has had one good save. St Mirren are a pacy team.
  7. Forgot Welsh had been out recently. Strong line up so fingers crossed!
  8. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 ICT Todorov St M McGrath Fouls 26 Corners 10
  9. Good to see Doran back in the squad. Duffy not on the bench: injured? Interesting it is an unchanged starting 11 again. Hopefully we keep our good run going.
  10. Something I didn’t expect to type.... Nat Wedderburn scored for Dumbarton against Clyde tonight.
  11. That was his mantra on Scotland Tonight last night too!
  12. The latest poll, by Panelbase, has SNP at 47% in the constituency vote and 36% in the list vote. Interestingly the Conservatives are still ahead of Labour in both. Alba are at 6% in the list vote poll, the same as the Lib Dems and slightly behind the Greens who are at 9%. I’m sure the numbers will move a bit in the next three weeks. My postal voting papers arrived today.
  13. Great news and if someone does come in for him now, we should get a decent fee given the length of the contract. Having him and Allardice on board is a great bit of business.
  14. Can I add my sincere gratitude to all involved. This Forum is excellent and having all the stats up to date is fascinating, particularly as I was away from the area for many of the initial years after ICT came into being. I’ve recently finished working my way through Milestones and Memories which filled many gaps by covering matches I was unable to witness, and was a great reminder of many I was able to attend, so it is great the Forum is now at the level it is today thanks to the hard work. Thanks again to those involved.
  15. £12 on St Mirren tv: https://ictfc.com/ppv-info-st-mirren
  16. I didn’t watch the debate but did see the discussion afterwards on Scotland Tonight, which very much reflected your comments. Anas Sarwar does seem to be doing best, but the SNP must be happy with how the debates have gone. It does seem that all parties accept the SNP will be in Government, with Ross apparently focussing on the list vote at one point, and with Labour most likely to come second. The timing of the legal action by Westminster over Scottish Government legislation that the Scottish Tories supported must also have undermined Ross’s position. Tellingly, the Greens seem to be cementing their position as the second “Indy party”, with those discussing the debate feeling that those wanting independence but not wanting to vote SNP in the list vote are better to vote Green than Alba. And add Kenny MacAskill to those who can’t pronounce Alba!! I’ve had a postal vote for several years due to being away from home fir much of the week in previous years, so I will be voting long before 6 May. I will then await the outcome with interest!
  17. Well deserved but it will raise his profile and increase the risk that he gets an offer he can’t refuse. As Lizi and IBM say, he must be our priority for a contract extension or new deal.
  18. Tonight’s results pretty good for us. On Saturday Dunfermline play Queen of the South. Anything other than a Dunfermline win will see us still in fourth going into the Dundee game which would be a benefit. I agree with Hiro that we may not need three wins to end in fourth, but we do need to target three wins as, if we achieve that, we will be in the play offs. As Hearts seem to have recovered their form and we have to play them away, a win against Dundee is very important to our hopes. It looks like it could well come down to the Ayr game at the end of the month.
  19. It is now within our own destiny as we are definitely fourth with three games to play regardless of how the game in Dumfries finishes.
  20. I’d be happy if Dunfermline and Queen of the South both lose tonight. Our target has to be the play offs so not having those chasing us making up any ground will be good. Not watching it but currently 0-0 between Dunfermline and Dundee.
  21. Something does not smell right here. Why would it game four weeks for a complaint to be made? It must be something that was missed by the referee, presumably. Allardice and Welsh were booked that evening but not Toddy. Hopefully Toddy is cleared of whatever he is accused of and those at Raith who allegedly racially abused him get appropriate sanctions. If the finding goes against him on 29 April we could lose him at a critical stage of the season depending on when any sanction applies from, particularly if we make the play offs.
  22. We are unbeaten on Friday evenings this season..... Saturday’s league games have been moved to 1200.
