  1. Fisher subbed after 52 minutes and his team is being well beaten it seems. I didn’t watch it to see how he played.
  2. And he’s started at Wembley tonight in the play off final. Must be weird in a ground that size with no crowd. It must be a big anti climax for players who probably never thought they’d play there.
  3. If he’s rejected an offer from Dundee, I don’t see him coming back here. Whilst another of Alan’s favourites gets a contract in the top league....
  4. I’m told the shop was queued out the door this morning so hopefully a sign of good take up on season tickets.
  5. A standing stone but no idea where! Sorry, we should have been at the stadium tonight at Tom Jones so having a few drinks at home instead and could not resist posting that! Cheers all!
  6. I will forgive you! No upset resulted I just wasn’t going to let you off with it!
  7. Hang on guys, I just said Arbroath was famous for smokies. I was born there before becoming a Highlander aged 4!! I rest my case.
  8. Season ticket details confirmed: https://ictfc.com/season-ticket-update-3
  9. A rare start for Alex Fisher for Exeter in the League 2 play off and an assist as they made the final. No Gary Warren in their squad though.
  10. A west stand would be expensive at a time we have no money. Even in the top league, how many times did we sell out totally?
  11. It’s a total farce and embarrassment. All leagues apart from ours seem to have handled the situation. We are in turmoil. Yes, we could have benefitted from reconstruction, but that is a side issue which should not detract from the potential to have delivered a fair outcome that would not have relegated clubs prematurely. Hearts and Partick could yet stop the season starting. If their action is successful we could get further action from the promoted teams. We are past the point of no return, but we could have even more chaos next season than this. And if we get a second wave of the virus or localised lockdowns, goodness knows what will happen. What a mess but roll on 17 October if that is when the league will start! I’ve seen reference to the Betfred Cup starting before the league starts but only for the Championship. I may have that wrong: anyone know anything!
  12. Thanks for that. With encouragement from my wife (surprisingly as she hates football) I ordered one on line last night. It has not arrived yet but I’ve been worrying about my sanity since. You have reassured me, thanks. If it helps the club in a small way it may turn out to be money well spent. I didn’t buy the whisky though....
  13. I meant as a present on Father’s Day and to keep as pride of place!
  14. Wonder how big the Oor Willie statue is? Only 25 so could be a collectors item in years to come. Referred to in the link above but more detail here: https://ictfc.com/limited-edition-fathers-day-ideas The whisky could go down well too!
  15. If a 27 game season is planned for the Championship, that means 2 home games against some teams but just 1 against others. We could get Hearts and Dundee at home just once, which would be a disadvantage. Surely it would be fairer to split after 18 games into 2 mini leagues, top 5 and bottom 5 so a 26 game league with the same balance of home and away games. Downside is that it would mean 6 games against 1 or 2 teams if we make the play offs but that is how it is in a normal season anyway. Just a thought to make things fairer, if that word is in the Scottish football dictionary.
  16. Tansey did pretty well second time round too.
  17. Maybe one of the inter island ferry harbours? Not been to any though so over to the transport man!
  18. That implies Orkney? Doesn't look like St Margaret’s Hope. Possibly Burwick? Only been there once but that was recently.
  19. I can’t argue with any of that. A heartfelt summation of their position and the need for clubs to collectively do the right thing. It should be 14 10 10 10 but will the clubs be big enough to vote for justice? Only time will tell, but I’m not optimistic.
  20. I spent 8 years down south sitting in queues on the M5 and M6. We lived in Lancashire but my job took me well south. It could take 8 hours on a Friday to travel 200 miles on motorways.
  21. But surely quite common journey lengths in leagues in larger countries. Plymouth to Carlisle in English League 2 springs to mind. 389 miles according to google.
  22. I thought he did ok for us when he got a chance, which wasn’t that often. With Walsh away he could be a decent replacement with regular game time. Is he out of contract at Middlesbrough?
