The lead singer in Tide Lines, Robert Robertson, was the singer in Skipinnish until he and another band member set up Tide Lines in 2018. Skipinnish are now fronted by the singer who used to be in Manran. Robertson was co-writer of Walking on the Waves, the track that probably put Skipinnish on the map, and it is now in the repertoire of both bands. Tide Lines are in their third album and I’d recommend seeing them live if you get a chance if you like good going music with a Scottish twist and a bit of banter. Agreed. Cowdenbeath are currently 10th in the 18 team Lowland League with 17 points from 13 games (4 wins, 5 draws and 4 defeats). More pertinently they had a decent run in the League Cup group stages, losing 1-0 to Forfar and St Mirren and drawing 1-1 with Arbroath and Montrose, losing both of those on penalties. There is no room for complacency.

We’ve been drawn at home to Cowdenbeath (now in the Lowland League). The tie is on the weekend of 25 November. The draw has thrown up Championship derbies in Fife and Glasgow. Date & Time TBC
