  1. Interesting article on STV website. Over last 8 league games, of the bottom 7 before Motherwell beat Dundee United tonight, only one team has won more points than us. Lets all get behind the team tomorrow, regardless of what happens, and try to help them get the result we need.
  2. Add Calum Ferguson and you have a team!
  3. Nice one. Hope it gives Liam and the team a boost!
  4. I agree with most of what has been said. I listened to the radio commentary, and a defeat seemed inevitable in the second half. Now is the time to really get behind the players and Manager and give them our support to hopefully secure safety in the league and continue our cup dream. Let's help to make it another season to remember for the right reasons!
  5. Carl Tremarco is apparently suspended for the Hamilton game. Fingers crossed for a good performance and result in Perth. A two goal win will get us back in the top six, or am I being overly optimistic?
  6. Good to see Markey Watkins being a fixture in the Barnsley side that is the form team in League 1, now being in a play off place after being in the relegation places only a few months ago..
  7. Plus Vigurs according to the stats on the ICT website.
  8. Today was the first game I have managed since County at New Year due to work. I thought we started well, with the early corners, but within 10 minutes Hibs had settled and were the better team until well into the second half. Only after the subs came on did we get on top, and after Mutombo's goal We were the more likely to win it, but I'll take a draw. Polworth as a sort of right back didn't work, and disappointed with all the midfield and front players apart from Draper. In my book, only he, Fon Williams, Tremarco, Warren, Devine and the subs deserve much credit. Hopefully we have 6, or at least 4, more points in the league before the replay. I can make Saturday's game so fingers crossed. At least the Hampden dream lives on!
  9. I see Mutombo was not in the squad yesterday. Another one out injured?
  10. Credit to the club. Ordered my ticket on line yesterday and got it today!
  11. I'm still gutted by the shoot out at Parkhead in 2014.....
  12. I've persuaded my wife to go to the game, only her second after the final last year! just wish we knew the date and kick off time!
  13. Your post just emphasises why us Highlanders are happy! You were outclassed. Get over it!
  14. Tremendous! Unfortunately I missed it as on last flight to Manchester, but delighted with the texts from my wife after I landed as 0-1 became 1-1, 2-1 and 3-1. I was on. Train and startled the other passengers when she text me that Tansey had scored: poetic justice! hopefully a top six finish can be achieved!
  15. As long as he has off days when playing us!
  16. Hopefully the statement is an accurate reflection of the position and Greg did want to stay. Good to see he has been out and about today. Aberdeen seen to have coped well without him tonight anyway.
  17. Thanks Caleyjag, great news.
  18. Following up on Renegade's post, Duncan Shearer is from Fort William. Strangely, since he, Donald Park and John McGinley went onto make names in football, despite being from there, I can't think of anyone who has made the grade as a professional. The local team struggle, partly as the pitch is rarely playable in the winter, whilst shinty has a strong foothold.
  19. Any news on the trialists or whether a signing or loan deal may happen? Time is running out!
  20. Great news, but hopefully more will follow. Ideally Brill or Fon Williams (assuming both would be a luxury), Raven (hopefully whatever is going on between him and Hughes gets sorted), Doran, Williams, Vincent, Tremarco, Storey and Polworth will stay, along with youngsters Sutherland and Ferguson. That would give us a core to hopefully build from, but I don't rate our chances of keeping Storey. Hope I'm wrong!
  21. As the culprit who was positive about Devine, I think he has got better as the season has progressed, and the clean sheet record is now much better (causing us all to bemoan the lack of attacking play!). Don't get me wrong, I really want to see the Warren / Meekings partnership restored as soon as Meekings is fit.
  22. Judging by the comments, Om glad I couldn't be there today!
