  1. Disappointing result. Thought we shaded it as better team. First goal embarrassing. We should not have lost In terms of players, back four ok, Tremarco was my man of the match and very unlucky not to have scored. We criticise Vigurs, but he did have urgency about him after his goal, so was up for it. Draper was poor, tending to pass poorly but won the penalty. Polworth had a quiet game. Mutombo was lively and in some ways our best hope. Up front, Hughes is being played out of position but worked his socks off. He won a lot in the air but lacked back up. Storey was ok. Both Williams tried hard, would like to see Ryan W get more game time to see what he is capable of, as he seems lively. Not sure whether Meekings may not be fully fit, hence being replaced, as he was reluctant to take the defence on. We should have won today, or at least got a point, so top 6 looks a gonner. Hopefully we get points against Hearts and United, but both will be tough. We need to hope Hamilton lose tomorrow in Aberdeen.
  2. According to BBC, Vincent and Mutombo fit and Raven not far away. Tomorrow's team selection will be interesting against an on form Motherwell. Hooefully the style and passion shown against County is on show again!
  3. He's a midfielder playing up front so did OK in the circumstances. Great day, but we do need a penalty box striker.
  4. A great afternoon. Must confess, I was in main stand as had hospitality: it is tough loving every minute in those circumstances! Only one team wanted it today. Can't fault any of the 14 who got fame time, and it could have been more! Still glad County won last weekend, but 9 points against them in league feels good. Lets get behind the ram against Motherwell and Hearts and achieve safety. Perhaps the top 6 is back on. Well done to the team today. Let's keep up. PS the fans were truly great today but ditch the flares and the antics with the ball.
  5. Could not be there last night as down south: blessing in disguise? Could not believe the team selection, despite being happy JM back. Watching BBC text updates was painful, car crash waiting to happen. Confirmed by highlights. I am going to Dingwall on Saturday fearing the worst but hoping for the best! Bottom six is inevitable. I hate to admit it, but after the highs of last season, I predicted we would finish 8th this season. I would take that now! The criticism of JH and some players on here is justified, but when times are tough the players need to know that we are behind them. Let's do what we can to support and encourage them.
  6. Interesting article on STV website. Over last 8 league games, of the bottom 7 before Motherwell beat Dundee United tonight, only one team has won more points than us. Lets all get behind the team tomorrow, regardless of what happens, and try to help them get the result we need.
  7. Add Calum Ferguson and you have a team!
  8. Nice one. Hope it gives Liam and the team a boost!
  9. I agree with most of what has been said. I listened to the radio commentary, and a defeat seemed inevitable in the second half. Now is the time to really get behind the players and Manager and give them our support to hopefully secure safety in the league and continue our cup dream. Let's help to make it another season to remember for the right reasons!
  10. Carl Tremarco is apparently suspended for the Hamilton game. Fingers crossed for a good performance and result in Perth. A two goal win will get us back in the top six, or am I being overly optimistic?
  11. Good to see Markey Watkins being a fixture in the Barnsley side that is the form team in League 1, now being in a play off place after being in the relegation places only a few months ago..
  12. Plus Vigurs according to the stats on the ICT website.
  13. Today was the first game I have managed since County at New Year due to work. I thought we started well, with the early corners, but within 10 minutes Hibs had settled and were the better team until well into the second half. Only after the subs came on did we get on top, and after Mutombo's goal We were the more likely to win it, but I'll take a draw. Polworth as a sort of right back didn't work, and disappointed with all the midfield and front players apart from Draper. In my book, only he, Fon Williams, Tremarco, Warren, Devine and the subs deserve much credit. Hopefully we have 6, or at least 4, more points in the league before the replay. I can make Saturday's game so fingers crossed. At least the Hampden dream lives on!
  14. I see Mutombo was not in the squad yesterday. Another one out injured?
  15. Credit to the club. Ordered my ticket on line yesterday and got it today!
  16. I'm still gutted by the shoot out at Parkhead in 2014.....
  17. I've persuaded my wife to go to the game, only her second after the final last year! just wish we knew the date and kick off time!
  18. Your post just emphasises why us Highlanders are happy! You were outclassed. Get over it!
  19. Tremendous! Unfortunately I missed it as on last flight to Manchester, but delighted with the texts from my wife after I landed as 0-1 became 1-1, 2-1 and 3-1. I was on. Train and startled the other passengers when she text me that Tansey had scored: poetic justice! hopefully a top six finish can be achieved!
  20. As long as he has off days when playing us!
  21. Hopefully the statement is an accurate reflection of the position and Greg did want to stay. Good to see he has been out and about today. Aberdeen seen to have coped well without him tonight anyway.
  22. Thanks Caleyjag, great news.
