His post match interview was very professional and mature. A future captain in my opinion.

Congratulations to a Gary Warren and Iain Vigurs (and wives / partners) on the birth of their new babies in the lead up to the final.

I had to watch on TV as I had a family birthday party in the evening. A slightly nervous opening as Dumbarton crafted better chances, but other than the deflection off Donaldson that Ridgers saved, we never really seemed in danger. They were set up to make it difficult for us to build play and create chances, making it a slow, patient game, and pretty dull most of the time. I feared the worst after the penalty, but credit to the team, they did not get deflated and their patience was rewarded. Great to have Donaldson back, but my plaudits go to MacKay and Tremarco. Well done guys, lets now kick on!!

Time to put this to bed once and for all and focus on the present and future. We've had great times, bad times, and many more of both to come, I am sure. We've a final, admittedly of a small cup, but need to help the players build a platform to build from.

And he's scored judging by the club's twitter feed. Well done Daniel.

Sorry, I missed that.

I will be glued to Alba cheering the team on, wishing I could be there (missing out due to a family birthday). With tickets on sale at Perth, hopefully some more make the decision to go. I've been to our last two finals, will never forget either, particularly Hampden, and I really hope tomorrow can spark a positive end to the season. To all of you going, have a great, noisy, successful time!

Reading Robbo's comments on the club website, he implies Fon Williams is away. Anyone know anything?

In the shop this afternoon, they told my wife they had sold 1600 tickets. Mark Ridgers was helping out when she was in buying gift vouchers. Just a pity I can't attend due to a family commitment, but hope all who go have a great day out.

Absolutely no reason why today's game could not have gone ahead, We now face 5 of our last 12 games being midweek, and as I am often away during the week due to work commitments, I expect to miss the home ones, which is frustrating and calls into question the value of my season ticket. I don't blame the club, but the SPFL were short sighted and premature about this weekend. The traffic chaos ended yesterday, so they should have waited and reviewed things yesterday lunchtime. Rant over!

I couldn't go today as travelling south. Listened to Open All Mikes, and the first goal sounded scrappy and the second was a soft penalty which went in off the post, according to the radio. Were both our "goals" correctly disallowed? Hitting the post and bar and missing an apparent sitter probably sums it up. We need to win the next two games against Dumbarton and Brechin and then take stock of where we are. I'm an optimist, but the top three seem safe, but Dundee United, Queen of the South and Dunfermline are as inconsistent as us.

Didn't see that coming! We had three youngsters on the bench on Sunday, albeit Austin was Cup-tied, but we are lacking strength in depth unless we have a replacement lined up.

Why was Trafford missing from the squad on Sunday: injury?

I'm gutted: I had hoped for the Sunday as I have a birthday meal on the Saturday. Is it on tv?

Was the ref Welsh? Not having seen Mckay's first booking again, which from posts may have been wrong, I thought he was a cut above the refs I have seen this season, and was pretty even handed.

There was a very long delay before he could take it, but he should have at least hit the target. The way Polly was fired and riled up, perhaps he should have taken it? Atkeast that would have stopped him getting his booking....

If it is 24 or 25 March as planned, I need it to be the Sunday, preferably in Oerth as I am at a birthday party on the Saturday evening.

I was worried going in to this one and, despite our early goal, Crusaders had the best of the opening exchanges, We then took control, with Polworth (best 45 from him in a long time) and a Vigurs controlling things. All three goals looked well taken from where I was sitting, and it could easily have been 5 or 6 by half time. We could easily have shipped a couple too, though. The second half was a shocker, with only Ridgers doing well: he kept us in it as we allowed ourselves to be outplayed and could not keep the ball. I was surprised at the niggle between the teams, and there could have been more cards. I taped it and want to see Mckay's first booking, but he deserved the second card. Their winger had the beating of him every time. That was a masterclass in how to nearly turn a comfortable lead into a defeat with a 45 minute horror show: we need to be better against Morton next week, But, we are in a final, and can hopefully lift our season with some silver wear. Last word for the pitch, what a mess! Towards the north stand, the ball failed to bounce a few times, saving us on one occasion, and it was debatable if it was playable. I can see more postponements unless we get a long dry spell.

Dean Ebbe did what he could not do last season: score against a Scottish team.....

That's an honest and genuine update, indicating a desire to protect the long term future whilst striving to return to the top level. We are a small club and need to find a way to live within our means and maximise our achievements. I am heartened by the statement. Roll on Sunday, assuming the pitch is playable.

They are third bottom of their league at present with 18 points from 23 games. Astra sit fourth with 41 points.

Credit to Ross Tokely and Brora. Holding Killie back until nearly half time and definitely not disgraced. I am keen to see the highlights, including the "crowd invasion" by the players.
