  1. Plus Vigurs according to the stats on the ICT website.
  2. Today was the first game I have managed since County at New Year due to work. I thought we started well, with the early corners, but within 10 minutes Hibs had settled and were the better team until well into the second half. Only after the subs came on did we get on top, and after Mutombo's goal We were the more likely to win it, but I'll take a draw. Polworth as a sort of right back didn't work, and disappointed with all the midfield and front players apart from Draper. In my book, only he, Fon Williams, Tremarco, Warren, Devine and the subs deserve much credit. Hopefully we have 6, or at least 4, more points in the league before the replay. I can make Saturday's game so fingers crossed. At least the Hampden dream lives on!
  3. I see Mutombo was not in the squad yesterday. Another one out injured?
  4. Credit to the club. Ordered my ticket on line yesterday and got it today!
  5. I'm still gutted by the shoot out at Parkhead in 2014.....
  6. I've persuaded my wife to go to the game, only her second after the final last year! just wish we knew the date and kick off time!
  7. Your post just emphasises why us Highlanders are happy! You were outclassed. Get over it!
  8. Tremendous! Unfortunately I missed it as on last flight to Manchester, but delighted with the texts from my wife after I landed as 0-1 became 1-1, 2-1 and 3-1. I was on. Train and startled the other passengers when she text me that Tansey had scored: poetic justice! hopefully a top six finish can be achieved!
  9. As long as he has off days when playing us!
  10. Hopefully the statement is an accurate reflection of the position and Greg did want to stay. Good to see he has been out and about today. Aberdeen seen to have coped well without him tonight anyway.
  11. Thanks Caleyjag, great news.
  12. Following up on Renegade's post, Duncan Shearer is from Fort William. Strangely, since he, Donald Park and John McGinley went onto make names in football, despite being from there, I can't think of anyone who has made the grade as a professional. The local team struggle, partly as the pitch is rarely playable in the winter, whilst shinty has a strong foothold.
  13. Any news on the trialists or whether a signing or loan deal may happen? Time is running out!
  14. Great news, but hopefully more will follow. Ideally Brill or Fon Williams (assuming both would be a luxury), Raven (hopefully whatever is going on between him and Hughes gets sorted), Doran, Williams, Vincent, Tremarco, Storey and Polworth will stay, along with youngsters Sutherland and Ferguson. That would give us a core to hopefully build from, but I don't rate our chances of keeping Storey. Hope I'm wrong!
  15. As the culprit who was positive about Devine, I think he has got better as the season has progressed, and the clean sheet record is now much better (causing us all to bemoan the lack of attacking play!). Don't get me wrong, I really want to see the Warren / Meekings partnership restored as soon as Meekings is fit.
  16. Judging by the comments, Om glad I couldn't be there today!
  17. Who has contributed most or improved most so far? Contenders must be Storey, Tansey and Warren, but Polworth, Tremarco and Devine have acquitted themselves well on the whole. Raven is consistent and Williams under rated. Vincent has done well when fit when out of position. Draper continues to be the essential backbone. Fon Williams generally ok. Vigurs and Mutombo growing on me. Not convinced yet by Wedderburn, and pity Fisher has been injured. Hope I've not missed any regular starters! Worth a poll or a debate?
  18. Sorry about posting in wrong thread. Hadn't been able to be on site since weekend and hadn't come to that one when I sent the message. Hopefully all blown out of proportion.
  19. Who was Yogi having a pop at with his comments this week?
  20. This season was always going to be tough after the last three years, and the achievements of last year in particular. The recent good run has helped, but stalled last weekend and today. Hopefully Tuesday's replay goes to plan, but we then have a tough run in the league: Partick, Hearts, Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee and Hearts (first three at home, next three away), so the next couple of months could be traumatic! Fingers crossed we keep keep close to or in the top six and well away from the play off place dog fight, but it could be tough!
  21. I think Williams is very under rated. He plays wherever is asked of him, even up front once this season, but tends to miss out on the biggest games. I would give him a good run in the left midfield berth.
