  1. They did sort the tannoy!!
  2. Kenny Miller has been appointed Livingston Manager.
  3. An article on the Courier website says Elbouzedi was the best player on the pitch at "Kieth". We didn't see much of him last season. Could he turn out to be a great asset?
  4. We had a trialist called Nelson in one of today's squads according to the lists on the club website.
  5. Sounds like two 5-0 wins, including a hat trick for Daniel MacKay and a double for Zak Elbouzedi. Anyone there to comment on the new signings?
  6. The sun has literally just come out and we can see the Moray Firth now, so it should be an afternooon in the sun after all if you head there.
  7. Don't expect sunshine at Fort George in the next coup,e of hours. We are in Croy and it's not cleared yet with us.
  8. We are away to Fort William on 1 August in the North of Scotland Cup.
  9. We need a decent start, stay at or near the top, and be competitive so that we are in the hunt come April. It will be a tough league, but I am hopeful. A good cup run or two or three will be nice too!
  10. According to the BBC, as well as training at Fort George, Army PT Instructors are putting the players through their paces. Hopefully fitness levels will be enhanced this season as a result.
  11. I see the BBC website is saying Gary "opted to return south of the border".
  12. Gary has been a great player and captain for us and I am sorry to see him go. I hope he has had a fair settlement of his contract and goes on to do with Yeovil or wherever he turns up. Realistically, this has been inevitable for some time, not just when announced a few weeks ago and when we signed Jamie McCart, who I am delighted we have brought in. Looking at the first team squad, that is five out (Seedorf, Warren, Vigurs, Mulraney and Bell) and five in, almost straight replacements (Rooney, McCart, Beith, Walsh and Whyte). Not knowing much about them, other than McCart, I am hopeful we are starting with a stronger squad than we finished last season with. Time will tell!
  13. Yeovil would make sense if true, it is close to Bristol where he is from. I just hope he has had a fair settlement and is on a good deal with them. Good luck Gary and thank you for your leadership, commitment, passion and the memories!
  14. And this.....
  15. Hope this works!
  16. I was sobering up when they were entertaining the crowd on the Sunday after our cup win, and I've only seen the videos of them backing David Raven, particularly the moving "Stand By Me" which has perhaps greater poignancy after his contract issues with us. Anyway, they are supporting Billy Ocean tomorrow at the Leisure Centre, and we are going. My wife has loved their music tonight on line, even The You Tube videos of David enthralling the fans. Memories of a day we missed due to the amazing day and evening before (we can recommend a Greek restaurant in George Square but Wetherspoons did the main damage): she was there and has only been at one other game when we beat St Johnstone, so I'm encouraging her to take an ICT scarf tomorrow.....
  17. What's the big deal? It's a friendly so a big crowd is unlikely regardless of when it takes place, and it gives our team a work out against a higher quality side than the others we are playing in advance of the Betfred Cup starting.
  18. Congratulations to the new Board, hopefully you make a real difference. I have never been a member. Can details be posted about how to join?
  19. Great to see Jamie McCart back. He was here at a rough time, but I liked his attitude and application. Even when only a sub, his half time warm up routine showed his commitment. Whether this has any bearing on Gary Warren staying or not, time will tell, but we now have cover in all the back four positions. it will be fascinating to see who become our first picks: Mckay and Donaldson are a solid pairing, but will McCart start ahead of Mckay? Will Mckay be first pick at right back ahead of Rooney? Roll on 14 July and our first cup game!
  20. It improved dramatically last season, certainly where I sit.
  21. Personally sorry to see him go. He had pace and worked hard. His goal at Tannadice was a cracker: started in the left back position and knocked it in at the post a matter of seconds later. Hopefully things work out for him.
  22. The website has been partly corrected: we are now playing Keith in Kieth.
  23. Eight games against Highland League teams on the club website. Cant work out how to copy the link on my phone.
  24. Judging by Yngwie's post in the UK Football section, Storey is still under contract but on the transfer list, so we would need to buy him: unlikely!! We should be looking forward, not backward in terms of our squad. Intersting comparison: they transfer list Storey so want a fee, we will release Gary Warren free if he finds a club that suits him. i think we are being the honourable ones!
