  1. jeesy peeps! the point I was trying to make is that these are the first real challenging games we have faced this 'campaign'. playing highland league teams is great to break the guys in 'gently' and get their match sharpness up, but doesn't prove too stiff a test defensively; an area where we need to work on. we were and still are vulnerable from set-pieces. I'm not comparing anything between yogi/Richie, just saying that our defence was shakey and our defence is shakey, regardless of how the team are attacking the game. I also made the point that I expect us to finish in the bottom half of the league - how does this equate to unrealistic expectations? :smfh: #prideofthehighlands #ictfc
  2. based on radio.. Vigurs McNaughton Mulraney (1st Half) King (2nd Half)
  3. thanks
  4. where are the u20/development squad fixtures listed? would've happily taken a wee spin up to watch this.
  5. If you look closely, you will see that the club have been referred to as ICTFC since 1996....
  6. Just remember though, that not ALL the fans have an issue with this.
  7. They are fixtures that are taking place before (pre) the start of the league season (season). They are competitive pre-season matches.
  8. we were scary at the back last year, scary at the back this year. BUT our pre-season fixtures don't really lend themselves to being tested. DUtd and tonight were really our first pre-season matches that really put the defence under pressure. Ol' Kevin will help out there, a few more weeks of playing together and getting things sharpened up will help. I am positive for the season, but I am being cautious with my expectations - a lot of teams around us will have made improvements also. top six would be great, but I don't expect it. Prove me wrong Richie and Co, lets get into Europe again please!!!
  9. I have an idea...Why don't we sell all our tickets over the phone/internet or at the ticket office. then all you have to do is walk up to the turnstile, where a youth player or development squad member exchanges said ticket for entry into the stadium. I have a sneaky suspicion this may work quite well....
  10. statement. the :? was supposed to represent a confused face...
  11. football is the only business in which a manger can be sacked for poor performance and wind up with an equal or better job as a result :?
  12. some people will never be happy. never mind, the fitba's started again, so we can moan about that now....
  13. what part of the working out of a severance package would indicate that he still gets paid by the club
  14. 1. Celtic 2. Aberdeen 3. St Johnstone 4. Dundee 5. Rangers 6. Motherwell 7. Hearts 8. Partick 9. ICT 10. Ross County 11. Kilmarnock 12. Hamilton
  15. I'm just 'guessing' here. but if ICT and DUtd finish on the same points, I would imagine that ICT would be top based on outright wins - we would get there with 3W and 1D, whereas Dutd would get there with 2W 2D and 2BP. I would assume it goes to wins before goal diff?
  16. Once thing I would suggest is maybe one night of the week, the ticket office/shop/reception desk could be open late? I get finished work at 4.30, but even at that I was struggling to get there by 5 to buy cup tickets last year. this might make the shop less busy, as it would let people shop there outside of match days. I appreciate there is overheads involved, but just a suggestion.

  18. and don't forget, leave 10 minutes before full time so that the tens of thousands of people can all make it home.....
  19. Can the actual football hurry up and start so we can moan about that instead?! This is bloody painful! first it was abbrevaitiongate, now its queuegate! once again, mountains being badly constructed out of mole-hills. casual fans or tourists not showing up now is just a joke! nobody has said that you cant pay on the day, you just cant pay at the turnstile! erm...whats the problem here?
  20. any word of an injury to Jake? He got a few clatters on Tuesday night, and was subbed at half-time. Looked to have a slight limp in the 'technical area' during the 2nd half.
  21. I didn't want to get involved after getting absolutely lambasted following my previous comments about this abbreviation and tagline...but I feel that this may be the club trying to connect with younger fans. specifically those that have an affiliation to neither the C or the T, and probably who were born post 'M'! current, 'real' fans will not turn away from the club, but they do need to appeal to the youth, to secure a solid fanbase for the future. It strikes me that there seem to be a lot of people looking back, when we should be looking forward....
  22. what site is this on?
  23. brown impressed me there in the centre.
  24. no meekings at buckie or clach as well??
