  1. I know it has next to nothing to do with us, but apparently, Hamilton Accies are looking to sign long time Inverness AM as manager. Thoughts? https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3816294/brian-rice-hamilton-st-mirrren-head-coach-scottish-premiership/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1548877117
  2. "Right, Nathan, as you're the only one with gloves, you're in nets if Cammy gets injured"
  3. Aye. Been looking around for an ICT vs Dundee, from the last day of the First Division in 2010. Can't find it anywhere...
  4. Anyone know of any places where I can get older programmes? Been on EBay and Gumtree, but can't find the specific programme I'm looking for. ?
  5. Hope the lad sticks one top bins against the County in the cup.
  6. The SFA is so corrupt they're putting TV money over the fans. Doubt they've actually seen the streets to get into Dingwall. There's no physical way that road can handle that much traffic on a Monday night...still going to make every attempt to go though. Just record it for a different angle...
  7. Aye, at least we'll get to see Rooney batter Brian Graham...
  8. Who we hoping for next round? I'm thinking Raith or Talbot, home or away, not fussed.
  9. I was more disappointed when Nathan somehow didn't score No. 5...I mean, honestly, my nan could've sunk that one top bins!
  10. If anything, they'll probably do a Pitch Inspection around Lunchtime/1. Plenty of time to call off the match if unplayable.
  11. Probably the 1-0 loss to Dundee last season, fun seeing us play the Premiership teams. And yes, I've chosen that, cos it was my first Scottish Cup game...the reason why it was so recent is because of the inability to get to games before I got my season ticket...
  12. According to Charlie Trafford, Jamie McCart is going out on loan...no clues where or if he's just pulling our leg...
  13. Why tho? We got the leagues greatest keeper, Mark Ridgers. OFW as backup. We don't need any more, especially as if both those are injured at the same time (highly unlikely) we have main man Esson...
  14. Aye, there's a chance that the Man, the Myth, the Legend, David Proctor could be making an appearance in Inverness, hopefully the fans aren't too harsh against him...
  15. Robbo said in the post mach interview that Polly was out with the flu, so realistically, if we had a full squad, Polly would be in bed recovering...
  16. Highly doubt we'd even be able to get him. If he didn't go to the Sheep Shaggers in 2017, he more than likely would've been on the wage cut list with Captain Gaz and Dave the Rave...neither of which we could afford. The only way we could possibly get him is if he's willing to work on a reduced wage, but it'll never be a long term contract.
  17. Saw the result coming from a mile off. We're pure awful.
  18. Transfer windows open, and still no signings announced. Smh. ?
  19. Give them Beith back while we're at it. As Trump would put it:
  20. Rooney returned the punch (like anyone would do, you can't shrug off a punch to the jaw), but in all honesty, I can see why punches were flying. Everyone was worked up because of the shambolic refereeing of Andy Dallas, but hell, it definitely added some electricity to the game ?. Hopefully we have a decent ref who can actually see fouls in the return derby in March. But we need a team that can actually score, we're 100% the more dominant team in possession, cos literally any time I saw us on the ball, the County players were climbing on top of who ever was on possession, just to get the ball. But as stated earlier in this thread, possession does not win games. One thing that does need to be worked on in training, is heading, each and every single corner or cross that was put in (at the away section of the dump) was put in the exact same place above the bar, even though we got the ball first, we need to work on target practice for it. Seriously though, we really need to get a grip, I really can't see this club surviving in the Championship for much longer, our attendances are pure dire compared to previous second tier seasons, and the amount of away fans coming north, we don't even need to open their stand, as there is almost literally a minibus full of them, which certainly does not help ticket sales. If we want to get the chance of Premiership football again, we need to start working the players to score goals and hold a lead. Constant draws don't win promotion spots.
  21. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1301170333364243&id=143233165824638 Not sure if the link will work or not, but here's CCTV footage of the incident. Once again, I still don't approve of his actions, but the media didn't report anything about her almost knocking him down, flooring it into the back of his car, or multiple opportunities to speed out of the car park and call the police...rather it reporting that he had leaped out of the car and started clobbering her because of a small bump. But she is certainly not 100% innocent in this story. Wholly, his sacking is justifiable, and I do apologise for any offence in my previous post on this thread, as when I had posted that, the reports seemed rather light and not handing enough evidence.
  22. Aye, Brazilian lad in the U18s. Which is more or less our reserve team, as about a dozen of the "Class of 2018" are still contracted to them as well as the senior squad.
  23. Bear in mind, we still have Matty Machado and quite a lot of other youngsters who could possibly be ready to make their debut in the empty midfield spot...seeing as Carly is due to be out until whenever, probably til New Years, think it's time to start training up the younger players to get them paced and give them their day. We don't need to splash the cash on something we already have multiple of, and will boost their careers...save the money for when we desperately need it...
  24. I highly doubt Fonners is going to be in the MLS, unless he is part of a team that gets promoted into the MLS. But in all honesty, the only leagues I can see him playing in are the USL or maybe one of the bottom two leagues of the EFL. We certainly can't afford to keep him up north, as he probably has the highest wages in the entire squad. It's either going to be a permanent or a loan move back across the Atlantic, just not to Vancouver...
  25. In all honesty, I don't see anything wrong with it (yes, I know, unpopular opinion), it's simply banter. 1. They're boozed up, we all do stupid stuff when on the beer. 2. They're not personally attacking anyone, realistically, if the only one I can see being (slightly) offended is probably Aaron, because he's the only Irish lad left at the club, and would have Catholic heritage, but if he was that irritated about it, he would've gone to Robbo or the Chairman personally and privately and explained the situation. But again, they're not targeting anyone, all they're saying is "**** the pope", and Austin, no doubt has had a private word with Graham and the Board. 3. As for your "sack them all if the guilty party won't own up" comment, do you want this club to exist? If we continuously sack players any time they get into controversy we'll have neither the youth players or funds to replace them. Riccardo's sacking was justifiable, because it was physical assault, but this, this is verbal assault against nobody. I highly doubt the pope is going to find the video and say "This Nathan Austin guy is a wee ***** for saying this about me, going to knock his lights out for that", literally nobody but the PC Patrol and maybe a handful of Catholics would actually be offended by the video. It's like when what's his face from Dundee United blacked up for a party, literally nobody cared, except the people who were getting offended for people who weren't them...
