  1. I quite like it....maybe because it looks like a training top but still has the crappy badge on it. Anyway, at £48 (allegedly) it'll stay on it's hanger in the shop.
  2. Anything less than three points and I feel is game over for the play offs....sadly. Is that a vote of 'no confidence' from Gringo Towers?
  3. I'll ask her next time I see her 😂
  4. Thank you for this. I'd not heard the name either. I have a copy of Caley All The Way and I never thought to look. As you say, may be another Inverness team like, say, Citadel. Not to worry.
  5. I was at work the other and the lady I was working with spotted my ICTFC woolly hat. She was amazed to see it and she said her ex husband used to play #9 for Caley. She seems to think this would have been late 50's early 60''s. His name is Ted Collett. Does the name ring any bells with anyone?

The way we're playing just now I don't think I want to watch - but thank you anyway.
  7. Not too keen on the ICT calendar as all too often players leave at the end of the season (or January) so, from May onwards, it's usually out of date.
  8. What a wonderful man he was. So sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember those wonderful days in the Innes Bar before and after the match. R.I.P Colin and I'll raise a glass of single malt in your memory.
  9. If the club got rid of it's draconian and over zealous stewards they may be on to a winner. The noise makers need to be behind the goal and not stuck out on a limb or half way to Drumnadrochit.
  10. It was all quiet in these parts. A few houses had displays but there were no house calls. It's definitely got more commercialised from when I was a lad. Never used to do the 'trick or treat' thing back in the day. We used go around the local grave yard at the Church to see the ghosts...never saw any. Total farce.
  11. My thoughts are echoed above. It's at times like these that football revelries should be set aside and I'm pleased to hear that was the case in Inverness last night and other grounds across Scotland.
  12. I think Mrs Gringo and I are already signed up - not sure.
  13. All good here young man, thank you. Hope you're fit and well too. Hope to be up there soon for a few days. No game on though.
  14. We need to put the disappointment of the league cup behind us..which shouldn't be too hard to do given the fact it happens almost every season. Hope we can hit the ground running and start the season with three big points.

I find it extremely difficult to understand how these vandals are never caught in such a small town. Is the a posse coming up from other conurbations or something? It'll be a real shame if they were forced to quit because of this.
  16. My personal thanks to you @MrCaleyjag for keeping this competition alive. Hopefully more will join this season.
  17. Mr Dodds isn't selling it to me. I didn't see any of our three cup ties so I can't really judge, however, reading tweets and reports from those that were there (or watching on live feeds) I'd say we're shite just now. Can we beat Hearts in front of telly box audience? Based on current form - absolutely no chance. so, ICT, prove me wrong. Worried from Coventry Nil
  18. I think we're going to miss Toddy this season. Hopefully Billy and Michael can fill that gap. Billy needs to be fed which didn't happen in his second return to ICT.

You are right Mr Canary, it is unbearable down here. It's all you hear whenever you turn on the TV or radio. Why they have to bang on and on and on about 'that year' is beyond my comprehension - so annoying. No need to apologise to me...I might have Pizza tomorrow night too.
  20. My preference would be to support one of our up and coming youngsters. Happy to go with the flow though. Just glad I remember to cough up for this season

Stripes are too thin for my liking. Maybe it looks before 'in the flesh'. Hope so.
  22. Isn't Billy prone to getting relegated?

Not a good idea in my view. As for the Lowland League decision to allow 'them' in the back door I find shocking and kick in the nads to it's member teams.
  24. It will be a long time before we see those days again. Great times, great memories.
  25. The tale of our two trips to the game would fill the whole programme. I'll think about it..
