  1. I'm not so sure they have Jed to be honest. We lack that ability to create good chances and break down stubborn defences. We can't keep the ball and are experts in sloppy passes and giving the ball away. The long ball doesn't work. Hopefully things will click on Tuesday, they have to. Lose that one and we are in serious trouble. Back to back games against Raith after this then it's Pars. I'm worried.
  2. Yes, very much hoping for a win but my confidence is low. Only the players on the pitch can put that right. Only one point separates the teams over the last six games. This is going to be a very nervous afternoon.
  3. Yes of course he should play against RR he is still on contract to ICT. Why give RR any further advantage by not playing him? As for the cup final, that's an interesting question, should the tie (ever) be played next season. In my view it's still the 2019/20 competition so he should play for us or not at all

I understand your anger, I think we all do. We are we are and have no finances for wholesale changes. We have to go with what we have. We have also been dogged by injuries which hasn't helped. The current disruption with the management team is beyond the control of the club but they have done well to secure an interim manager. This hasn't helped out cause on the pitch. As the song goes...things can only get better. [They have to]

After all the positives from the Hearts game, that was a real let down. 4 wins from 16 league games is not the form required for promotion.
  6. Quite enjoyed that. Balance of play I suppose Hearts might have won it on points but hey, it was a good end to a week of turmoil. I hope Robbo and Scott have taken some comfort from this result and performance. ICT are in good hands just now boys. Even though I was watching on the box it was as if I was there. During the day I'd been building up to the game by posting updates on Facebook of my virtual trip up from Coventry 0 on the motorcycle. I left home at 0800 and got to the stadium around 1720. One or two thought I was actually travelling and they pointed out that I shouldn't be travelling from England to Scotland due to it being non essential travel and dear Nicola said it's against the law Anyway. I though we played well and deserved the point. The ref was whistle happy and stopped the flow of the game. Craig Gordon needs to grow a pair after his spat with Carson. And there really should have been an early red for whatshisface of Hearts.
  7. I think it's a tradition amongst some of the ICT support to have a dig at a newly appointed manager at our club. Even the likes of Brewster, Butcher, Yogi, Foran and, yes, even Robbo got the expert fan opinion. I think the only one that didn't get any initial stick was Charlie. McCann is more experienced than the current options within the club so, for me, it's the right decision.
  8. Sending all our of love to Robbo and his family at this difficult time. I can only echo those thoughts of the above posts. Take all the time you need Robbo, life isn't always about football.
  9. Not the result I was expecting if I'm honest but well pleased of course. Not quite up to the 0-7 standards but...lol. Hopefully this result will give the lads a boost and kick start our season for the run in. Nice one ICT,
  10. If it is a personal spat between the manager and the player(s) then it needs to be sorted pronto. It's a 'professional' football club not a local park outfit where you often get the 'I'm not picking him because he's a bell end' types. Time to grow up in the dressing room if that is the case here.
  11. Calling for Robbo's head will not fix things here and we can't afford it. I can't comment on the streaming as I've never bothered signing up. The feedback on the streaming was enough to put me off and I doubt my wi-fi would cope with it anyway...but that's another story. This was always going to be a difficult game against the form team. They had 9 of their squad missing by the way (according to their Twitter feed) Yes we are devoid of match practice but I don't think that's an excuse. We lack a creative player(s), ideas, goalscorer and tactical awareness. Reading the comments about the game I can't see where our next win is coming from. Looking at our next three games I think we'd be lucky to get 3pts. As for the possession stats, they don't really tell the true story. I mean, you can keep the ball and play tippy tappy football for 90 mins for 100% possession but if you don't shoot on target you won't score.
  12. I have no confidence that we can get the result we so desperately need in this one. Queens are on form and have played. We haven't. Hopefully the ICT boys will prove me wrong and wipe the floor with them. Signed, Nervous from Coventry Nil.

In the 11 league games we've played we've dropped 8 points from winning positions. 6 of those were against sides you'd expect us to beat. Having games in hand is only good if you can win them. We will be playing catch up now with the back log of fixtures and could be playing twice a week for some time. This could have a drastic effect on performance and fitness I think. Hopefully the boys will be up for the challenge and have the rants of Robbo ringing in their ears when they enter the field of play. Queens are up first and are in form just now so this isn't going to be as easy as it was when beat them in the TV game in Dumfries. That was our last win incidentally.
  14. I'm really rubbish at betting, not had a winner all season, so, if you could all send me a couple of quid I'll have a bet on the game being OFF. Bet would have to be placed before 9 a.m today of course.
  15. The weather forecast for the area is looking horrendous all day Wednesday. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this fixture bit the dust too.
  16. Nothing wrong with a few home truths from the gaffer. Only time will tell if it will work. Sometimes a rant can have the opposite effect. I'm not too sure if our squad would cope with wholesale changes though. As for the transfer market, I can't see us getting any great quality added to the squad in our financial position. Queens will be a tough act this weekend. We've not won in 4 and they've not lost in 4. Things do have to change because on current form we'll be nowhere near a play off spot especially as there are only 27 games this season.

Would it not have been possible/practical to have a Pt1 and Pt2? Just a thought. Anyway, besides that, well done guys and especially to His Royal Wyness I really enjoyed that. For a chap who kept himself to himself he could fair rattle once he loosened up. A round of a applause to all involved.
  18. Ours was the only game to be called off due to a frozen pitch.
  19. It is but no way can the club afford to switch it on. Not a requirement in this league either.
  20. Not sure how the clubs testing policy works but cramming all those fixtures into a short space of time will cause issues...maybe? There's every chance to the Raith game will be off too. Looking at the current situation I wouldn't be a all surprised if the season is cancelled.
  21. Those tickets were £10 a go. As you rightly say, fantastic support. They had folk from all over the world buying them and they've made lots of new friends. A saw a Tweet earlier (with a photo) from a chap who said 'Leaning out of my bedroom widow and watching Gareth Bale. Unreal'
  22. I was disappointed that BBC didn't mention his time at ICT and in-particular that winning goal against Celtic in the semi final of the Scottish Cup and also the fact he has a Scottish Cup Winners medal...and he can play the guitar.

I see nothing wrong with his reply to that tweet. Respect.

Truly awful news. Our sincere condolences go to all his family and friends. It makes the purchase of his book (signed by the man himself) even more poignant now. I've not read the book yet but when I do I'll raise a glass in his memory and have a tear in my eye.
