  1. I've never known such a dedicated and determined nutter. Proud to have Yompa as a friend and inspiration. Lad deserves all the support we can muster. This is one hell of an undertaking and I have no doubt he will do this. Please bare in mind he is no youngster....he's 70. Give what you can please.
  2. I believe I said the same thing back in 2015. The team broke up and our downward trend started after that final. I'm not expecting the shock we all grave but could this be a shot in the arm for the club and begin an upward trend instead?
  3. Better offer or sacked for not making extra money for the club in the play-offs
  4. Already got mine so it makes you younger than me so you qualify as a young man Thanks DD. I blew the title with an Arsenalesk performance. Think I was some 150 points ahead at one stage having got 3 correct scores one week. It's not very often I hit top spot so it was nice whilst there. I also played 5 games less which would have made ll the difference. Thank you for playing. Yes it would be great to have more playing but my efforts to get more involved have failed.
  5. You pose a very good question. A case of damned if you do and damned if you don't right there.
  6. Hi Robert...it just indicates the games that your Jokers were played.
  7. JOKER allocation going in to the final game... ONE Joker left to play for the following:- caleycalum Ictross Jodie Carnie old caley girl Scotty bughtmaster crownjaggie DoofersDad Jock Watt
  8. At this stage I wouldn't ditch Dodds as there's not enough time for the replacement to get to know the squad for such a big game. What he needs to do though is work on tactics that avoid the big punt up the park. Championship sides gobble those up for breakfast. The likes of Celtic will enjoy them for dinner and supper too. Not making the play offs may be a blessing in disguise for me as I don't think we would have been good enough for the awful SPL. I agree entirely with your second paragraph. Recuperation, fitness and team building will be vital. I'd add watching Celtic videos until they've got green and white stripes in their eyes. They can be beaten...we just got to find a way how to do that.
  9. NPL Review for Game 48 So near yet so far. Great effort to keep the season alive until the end. We go again in the Championship next season with the mouth watering prospect of a return of the Highland Derby. (and Hamilton) No maximums in the Correct Score section. Mrs Gringo got max points in the First Scorer section. CaleyCanary got the Crowd Section bonus – 102 under. Gringo tops the table by a single point going into the last game. Current champion caleycalum is only 9 points behind and has a Joker to play. Can he do it? old caley girl is still very much the Champion elect as she still has her final Joker to play. 10. CONGRATULATIONS to Robert on winning this season CTO PL. Fantastic effort in chasing down that no hoper Gringo in the end. I applaud you young man. Well done.
  11. Fair effort in the end to keep the season alive in the league. Great run to bring it to this stage when we looked completely out of it at the start of the year. Injuries, Hamilton and Dodds have done us in the end. We can now look forward to the Highland Derby next season...as well as Hamilton... No game now until the pre-season friendly with Celtic at Hampden Park on Sat 3 June in the blazing heat of the mid-day sun...oh...wait...make that the late afternoon sun. Quite how Mr Dodds and his merry men will prepare the team for this without any game time remains to be seen. Mon the Caley Jags - unbeaten in Scottish Cup Finals.

  14. NPL Review for Game 47 It was never in doubt! Scottish Cup Final here we come...again. No maximums in any section for this game. 11 punters benefited from the ICT First Scorer bonus which was worth seven points. caleycalum got the only Yellow Card bonus points. There were no bonus points won on the Time of First Goal section. CDNGirl got the Crowd Section bonus – 268 over. Gringo now leads the way in the table. With, potentially, only two games left, this could be anyone’s title. 17. Think I've still got some apathy left in me. I really don't know how this game will pan out. Falkirk did excellent to get to this stage and will not fear us. They have a score to settle from 2015 and they'll have a more vocal and bigger support. We need to start well and shut them up. As for our ticket sales I think we'd be luck to exceed 3000. Lets face, not many folk in Inverness can afford two semi finals on the same weekend... The stupid early k.o time will prevent many fans meeting up and enjoying the big match build up. Football is not a sport for the fans anymore. I'm hopeful of hooking up with a few after the game but I really don't our plans yet for getting to Hampden.
  18. Sorry to hear of his passing. Had the pleasure of listening to one of his after dinner speeches at an ICT function. So funny. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
  19. Not heard from her for a good few years. Hope she is ok. Other than social media I have no further contact detail. xx
  20. NPL Review for Game 46 I think I’m happy with a point . I like this ‘not losing’ run. Let’s hope it continues until the end of the season. No maximums in any section for this game. Joonya and MrCaleyJag got the only points in the First Scorer section. DoofersDad got the Crowd Section bonus – a mere 403 under. old caley girl is holding top spot still.
