Five years on
Really sad how the club has gone since those glorious and entertaining days.

Inverness CT -V- Partick Th
Not condoning JR here but I think he has point. Atmosphere has always been better at away games than at home games. Main reason I think is the fact that we're always is the same section at away games. At home we're well spread out in two stands. Take away the seats in the North stand and replace it with the Howden End and you might be on a winner. Something on the park to shout about would also help. Things like attacking football and goalmouth action. Ah those were the days.

Happy New Year
Here's hoping things improve for you Scotty. All very best to you and your family and also too all ICT supporters wherever you are. My 2019 start with man flu but hopefully that will clear off soon. 2019 also sees the return of the Highland March. I fully intend to take part in this and training traditionally starts on 1st Jan - but not for me this year...[sniff, snort, aaaatishooo]...nose is running faster than the A9 through Dunkeld. So, have a good one. Play nicely out there in the big bad world.

Why does religion always have to spoil things?

We can't you're right. Something has certainly gone pear shaped with the discipline but in the case of RC I believe that incident occurred prior to his arrival at ICT. Unfortunately he was on our books when the case came up and dragged our clubs name through the media and we know what those vultures are like. As far as the video is concerned I struggle to understand why any player would want to post this crap on social media knowing that the vultures will pick it up. I don't condone what was allegedly said of course but players have to be very careful and be more responsible.

New Partnership for CTO
I fully appreciated the efforts to raise funds to keep CTO going. I do like a football bet (they're usually ruined after 10 mins though). I hope this works Scotty but I also hope folk are sensible when it comes to having a flutter.

Edinburgh City - Scottish Cup
Yep, a lucrative money spinning home tie against East Kilbride and an extra couple of bob for reaching the next round from the sponsor . And yes, it would indeed leave a sour taste in the mouth should we fail.

Edinburgh City - Scottish Cup
What a difference a week makes. Last week we come back from 3 down (could have been six according to reports) to draw 3-3 and then this week we struggle against against a 4th tier outfit. This is cup football don't forget. If we wind the clock back around 20 years or so we'd have looked forward to taking on higher status opposition away from home and raised our game accordingly. But we're not that team any more and are there (as giants??!!) for the taking. Edinburgh City are an in form side and we shouldn't really expect an easy ride. Having said that, we should still have beaten them. Looks like we just didn't turn up and were in the that lets-put-our-feet-up-Sunday-afternoon mode. We've made life difficult now with a replay on a Tuesday night and then the long haul down to Ayr for Friday night football. Lets just hope the replay doesn't go to extra time and pens.

Scottish Cup 3rd Round
Would have loved to gone but the moving of the match to Sunday has ruined that. Sounds like it'll be a great game and a potential upset on the cards. Safe travel to all who are going.

Pub for QoS
Sadly, we will not be attending on this occasion

FA Cup Shocks
I was kind of hoping Moors would be an away day as there'd be a better chance of getting a ticket. Their ground is about 4300 capacity and this will be a sell out. Felt sorry for Hampton & Richmond last night. Bowed out in the final minutes despite the ref wearing a home shirt.

FA Cup Shocks
No..but he might go to the 2nd round tie depending on the draw Great result for Chorley though, just a shame they couldn't hold out for the win.

0842 from Coventry Nil. I assume you'll jump on at Preston which be the 1053. Thence 1220 from Carlisle. Back on the 1759 from Dumfries and 1911 from Carlisle (unless we leg it for the 1707 - unlikely at my age lol)

Scottish Cup 3rd Round
But we can't win at home, well, only once, but won two away.

Pub for QoS
Last time I went the stadium bar (Doonhammers?) was the place to be. However, I like a 'real ale' so I'll probably have a couple in the Craven Arms on Buccleuch Street as it's on the main drag to the ground from the railway station.

Scottish Cup 3rd Round
I believe that applied to Saturday 24th Nov too.

ICTFC : Open Fans Meeting : 25/10/18
I hope it is well attended by the folk of Inverness.

Friday Night Football
Good thread this. From my perspective I think Friday night football would ruin it for me. I don't get to many games these days and it will be even less if Friday night football was the norm'. Maybe this is good question to ask the players and managers out there. Would they be happy to play on a Friday night and would they be happy at away matches to have very little or no support? Reading tweets from some of our players after an away Sat match they seem to appreciate the vocal support. I strongly feel that would be lacking on a Friday night. (Lets see how many [from Inverness] make the Ayr game in December as a 'for instance'] As CaleyD mentions, just because it works elsewhere in the world it doesn't mean it would work here and, for me personally, it wouldn't.

Friday Night Football
Play all Friday night football on a Saturday at 3pm.

Promote away young Scotty. I'm he'd welcome any kind of links to the Kindle book. Many thanks.

Yompa and Neuroblastoma
Agreed. Couldn't decide which forum but, if it wasn't for Caley Thistle, his adventure may never have happened.
