  1. He stopped going a good while back and doesn't attend (or put money into) any game that comes under the banner of the corrupt SFA/SPFL
  2. Lost 3-2 - bang goes our few million quid in prize money. Good wee team that Brora lot.
  3. They don't like each other these teams do they? More needle than sewing bee.
  4. Just loaded it up in time to see the Brora goal ?
  5. We've not lost in the league at Somerset Park since Apr 2003 but don't let that stat' get in the way. This will be a tough game and I hope the wake up call from last weeks performance is heard. I think we all thought Ayr would slump once their goal machine left for the Arabs but they seem to have found another one in Alan Forrest (why kind we find one?).
  6. Flogging a dead horse with that one I fear. Even winning the Scottish Cup and playing good football doesn't entice folk away from the settee sadly. Stadium location, parking, all seater stadia = no atmosphere (and those that do try are given grief), pathetic stewards etc etc are all a put off in attracting new blood. Costs too are a big factor but there's not much the club can do about that. Tough one.
  7. Many will know that I'm not a fan of the SPL but hey, this was my team in the top league of Scottish football. Never thought I'd see the day that we'd be at the top of the PL. What a ride. From those heady heights comes the slump. We peaked with the SFA Cup win and never capitalised as we couldn't hold on to that great team. That was a real shame and it was (is) all down to money. As mentioned above the people never came to the stadium in their droves to support what was an exciting team. If they couldn't do it then they certainly won't do it now. The potential for a large home crowd is there but it's trying to rid the city of this apathy that is the biggest problem.
  8. Not had a drop me ol' mate...how about you? ?
  9. I'd always classed Partick Thistle as a bit of a boggy team for us but, having looked at the stats (soccerbase), I see we're fairly even. In the League it's W11 D5 L13 and overall it's W13 D10 L14. This will not be easy against a fired up Partick side. I can't deny I'm a bit worried about this one. Hope the boys can allay my fears.
  10. I see what you did there...will they take the bait?? ? Having outlets in the city has been mentioned before but the costs of doing so will outweigh any potential profit so I think we're flogging a dead horse on that idea. I echo your thoughts re tacky posters but the odd lamp post flag wouldn't hurt I don't think. Local pubs (except those that support County like Foxes) could / perhaps should display something at least.
  11. Certainly hope it never comes to that but in today's fiscal environment it wouldn't be beyond possible. The City has never been full of love for our club. Inverness is a city that attracts tourists from all over the world and I doubt that any of these visitors know the city has a football team.

Enjoyed that but a couple of wee criticisms if I may. Recording on the train isn't the best with the drone of the train and the wee swear words crept in which wasn't good....but I'm ok the later personally. Good work. Well done.
  13. Was that the case yesterday? Crowd of 1760. Can't really blame it on poor performances I don't think.
  14. Falkirk aside, these clubs have their grounds within easy reach of the residential areas and not stuck out on a limb like the TCS. They also have better facilities for the match day experience with regards to local pubs etc. I think this makes a big difference plus the fact these clubs have been around a lot longer than ICT. There is still that lack lustre feel and apathy towards ICT in and around the Inverness area. The fans are there - this was proved a few times in the cup runs but getting them to go every week is neigh on impossible.
  15. That's a very good question. I would be extremely surprised if pedestrians / cyclists have been taken into consideration in these plans. My guess is they will divert / encourage folk to divert down the path you mentioned above and thence under the Kessock Bridge.
  16. Awful news from Elgin City. Really hope there are no complications and he's back on the field soonest. Tough times again for the lad.
  17. Solihull Moors away would do me nicely thank you (although IHE might not like going there just now..)

Enjoyed the latest edition, well done all I applaud you. Some good ideas from Moogthurso there but as there are only around 24 players taking part in the NPL I can't see it holding a lot of attention. On the other hand it may entice some more folk to give it a go.
  19. Lynne, this may be useful too https://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/scottish-spl-premier-and-football-league-clubs.html
  20. I only watched it on the TV but I couldn't see any glimpses of encouragement at all. We can't pass. We can't create. We can't keep the ball. That was just painful to watch.
  21. The game in Airdrie was my first ever Caledonian FC match. We were winning 2-1 until the 97th minute!! Not seen this footage before (as I recall) great scenes.
  22. We certainly need to sort the defence out that's for sure. Far too many gaps in there that Peterhead (albiet without scoring thanks to Ridgers) Cove and Raith exploited. We seem to be creating chances at the other end though - just need to hit the target at a better ratio. Tough one to call - it'll be down to who wants it the most.

Really good stuff. Your hard work is appreciated down here in Coventry 0.
