Yep, and if I was to tell you he's first on the team list on saturday I reckon some paper will print it on friday.

CD, I left out the child prices because not every game operates such and because there is a variation in classifying a child. Some clubs its under 12 some its under 10. One or two even let under 5's go free. The majority are equal in classifying concessions. Under 18 and OAP / Student. I understand and agree with all you say but at the same time I understand the need, in the current climate, to maximise income. Even I have to cut back on my football attendances because cost is outstripping income.

My favourite memory of Juanjo is the way, by magic, he grew 3 foot 6 to stick the heid in Lennon

Whatever Swindon paid for Cox is probably press speculation but that aside no Luke we shouldn't hand it all to Hayes. This club has a structure of reward for players and it has served us well for many years and kept us out of debt. Hayes will be offered the best we can afford to pay him, as will any other player. If he then feels, just like Blackie did, that earning big bucks is the way forward then he'll need to look elsewhere and we'll need to find a replacement. This club has a very difficult job trying to balance the books and, indeed, we are somewhat indebted to board members for puting their hands in their own pockets to keep us afloat this last couple of years. It would be follie to break away from the structure we have for one player. Perhaps if Jonny was bringing additional fans in by his performances then an increase could be justified but thats not happening.

How come Republic of Ireland is exempt from this? Aye and what about the Kingdom of Fife? Is that also exempt? For me the worst was Fetai........he thought he was gods gift to football and too good to be with us. As it turns out he's actually grown up now and is quite successful. And the best may have been Niculae.......what would he have brought to the club had he had a Hayes, a Foran, a Shinnie or even a Ross to serve him. Sadly he left under a cloud. So to my choice...........has to be Juanjo just for his ball skills alone.

genuine question Alex but do you think Terry and mo are changing the system every week in an attempt to counteract the opposing team? They possibly are though I think its more to do with which players are available on the day. My personal view on your question Tug is that a successful system should be found that leaves the opposition team with the problem of counteracting. If one system is working and its building confidence in the players and developing the skills of each individual then there should be no need to change for different opposition.

Is this not a 'farewell to Cox' thread?

Are the prices not agreed by both clubs involved? Its a difficult one to deal with though. Do they drastically reduce prices in the hope of filling the stadium or do they keep prices up knowing they wont fill the stadium. The fact is, if there was no such thing as segregation we'd probably sell out to Celtic fans. Someone earlier suggested there were 1000 home seats available. Would all those seats be filled if the prices were lower. At the end of the day the club need to maximise income and probably base the prices on expected numbers. If they know they can maximise the away figures at the prices set then thats what they're going to do. Its a shame we're in a situation where we cant fill the home stands with home supporters for such games but thats the way things are. I'm willing to bet though, that if we were to reach a final, we'd have no problem taking a very large contingent to Hampden. All of whom will willingly pay the gate prices set by the SFA. As a matter of interest the prices for other SPL clubs this weekend are: Aberdeen ---- £18/£16 ----- Concessions £12/£10 Hibs ------------£20 ----------- " " " " " " " £10 Motherwell ----£15 -----------" " " " £10 Rangers -------£20 ----------- " " " " £13 St Mirren ------£15 ----------- " " " " £10 Hearts are top secret unless I register with their e-ticketing system.

Personally I think the press get their stories from this and other websites. There's always someone who knows someone who said something or there's the twitter comment that someone is adamant means something other than what it actually meant and low and behold we have strong rumour. Lazy journalism has a lot to answer for in this country.

The fire alarm at three in the morning and the food poisoning from the Drumossie breakfast killed us!!!

Watched the highlights twice now and who's the prominent player? Nick Ross. Ross put the ball in front of Gnakpa that hits the post. Ross puts the ball in front of Tansey. Ross has a first touch shot thats saved. Gnakpa will be the hero for his shot of the post. He won't be slagged for his dive yet Ross sclaffs a chance and is dross. Get a life guys and look at the good the player does.

Remember going into January in the 09/10 season. Many people thought Dundee could never be caught. That said I dont see a Caley Thistle in div 1 this season so County could well win it.

After watching the game today I'd go along with davieB. I think Hayes and Ross can get the better of Izzaguire and Rogne and Lennon knows nothing of the two up front. Falkirk fielded a very young team today and played some good stuff but didn't have anything in the last third. We, on the other hand, have played Celtic a few times over the last couple of seasons and know whats needed to beat them. If we go out all guns blazing from the off we can do it.

Funny how when someone makes a mistake or sclaff's a chance he suddenly becomes dross. In Nicks defence he is not a striker. He is, however, a decent midfielder and can play a bit when he's played in the right position and fitted into the right system. Personally I'm beginning to think that many of our players are struggling to know what the right system is. It changes for every game.

The Irish Shamrock v The French Tricolour

I agree with SMEE -
If you expand that into the following season friendlies then we won the first two without reply then lost to Peterhead. Dont know when Peterhead scored in that match but I reckon it at 571 hrs +
-
Which got me thinking DD.........Our best ever run was in 09/10 season with 15 games without defeat. 3 of that run was draws and one a 0-0 away to County. Will we ever be that consistant again?

McAllister (2) Peterhead 2 - 1 Queens Park Rooney (2) Sheffield U 0 - 4 Birmingham Is the Ryan Christie who plays for Fraserburgh the same who cam through our youth set-up? If so he also scored today
